If you need wine look no further. I'm here in Colorado for a few months & discovered this place. It's a treasure. So refreshing to walk into a wine shop & actually talk to someone who knows wine & can direct you to exactly what your were wanting. They are extremely knowledgeable about the wine they carry and the prices are very fair! If this shop were in my neighborhood it's the only place i would ever shop for wine. read more

Unfortunately I experienced extremely rude staff who actually kept insulting me over a construction situation. Even if they were right, which they weren't, business associates have no right to insult customer or a protentional customer. I would never buy as little as a lighter from this place. read more

If you want good craft beer, Littles will have everything you want, need and more! We were in town for the weekend and came in looking for some Beers. Jay took us under his wing and gave us amazing beers! Look no further. This is the best place! Thank you Jay for helping us out! read more

I love this little shop. They have a great selection that is both affordable and of good taste. They have a huge beer cooler with tons of bombers and " one of a kinds." (They call it the "cave" I believe?) Towards the front of the store they have an under $20 rack of some super solid finds with notes from either the provider or the staff. The staff is always nice and this space is really approachable-- albeit small. Can't beat the mom and pop vibes here and it always feels good to support your local business owners. read more

LOVE these guys. We go in and grab craft beer and wine because it's right down the street and everyone working there is always so nice and helpful. Go here if you want awesome beer and awesome people! read more

I just dropped in there again this afternoon and the owner casually spent about 25 minutes talking to me about all the various beers that they sell and gave me a tasting of a wonderful German doppelbock. By the time I left I had a hard-to-find Dogfish Head 120-minute IPA plus an awesome Belgian beer I would have never otherwise known about. He was telling me how he wanted to rip out more domestic beer to make room in the freezer for Belgians, so it may soon be most awesome liquor store per-square-foot for beer lovers. If you are a fan of beer or wine you should definitely check this place out. And the other thing I was impressed by you can make special requests and they keep some stuff hidden in the cooler that there isn't room for out front. So if you don't see it ask. And he told me that they have beer and wine tastings on Wednesdays and Fridays, and you can sign up for a mailing list to get notifications about what they're doing each week. I'm a huge fan of this place. read more

Just stumbled into this gem. The cram a lot of diverse beer into a small shop. Stumped? Their staff is very good at recommending a beer for you if you're paralyzed by the choices (which is understandable). They not only have six packs and 22oz bottles, but 12 packs of microbrew! They've also got a walk-in fridge with an expanded beer selection. What isn't to like? I guess it's a little cold, but it's a fridge. I have no idea about their wine and liquor beyond the fact that they carry them. Yes, Morgan's is bigger and has a larger parking lot, but it's worth it check this place out some time. read more

Too bad, I want to support my local store but they don't realize their rudeness is self defeating and counterproductive. Not to mention there is a cheaper option down the street. read more

Wine tasting, polite staff, good selection for such a small shop...and amazing recommendations. I'm usually pretty timid about asking for what kind of beer or wine I should get for certain situations but everybody I've talked to there has made the best recommendations I could have hoped for. Whenever I want something new, I go here to find it. read more

Three words: walk-in beer cooler. This little (pun intended) LQ is awesome for the DU student crowd or those who just happen to be in the neighborhood. The parking lot is tiny but with lots of personality - just like the store itself. Real nice guys working here - high high marks for knowledge, helpfulness and courtesy. I never would have ventured into the walk-in beer cooler had they not told me to do so! The beer selection is off the hook! If you want something new, special or just delicious head over here and they'll take care of you. I was so excited about the selection I didn't even bother to care about prices. If I had to guess I'd say it's mid range but you get excellent customer service too! Of course, there is a certain amount of wine and booze but they do not have grapefruit juice. No matter, just worth mentioning. Either way, this is an excellent business that I hope continues to do well. read more

I can't believe I haven't written a review yet! This is one of our neighborhood shops and one of my regular stops. Cassie really takes care of us - I feel like she is our personal wine consultant. She knows our favorites and always tries to push us out of our comfort zone. Friday night tastings are a regular stop for us - we look forward to trying new wines. While I'm not a beer drinker, my husband is - their beer cave has a great selection. So glad to have Little's as my neighborhood wine shop! read more

This is my neighborhood beer store, and like the other reviewers, I can't say enough good things about this place. They have a great selection for such a tiny place, and they're always willing to talk shop with you about beer and wine. Often, I'll just run in looking for a quick 6-pack, and end up spending a half hour chatting about beer. Thanks, Little's! read more

This is where it is at! Amazing variety. Great flexibility (you can buy singles). Extremely informative and passionate about at least the beer (what we were inquiring about). read more

These guys have every beer you could ever want! I have a soft spot for my native Nor Cal breweries and they stock most if not all- bomber or 6 pack. It will be interesting to see if the wine stock measures up. Oh and for you DU kids, its open a half hour later than Morgan's. read more

I am highly disappointed by the service I received last month at my favorite local wine shop. So much so that I created a Yelp account and will never go there again. I used to come in at least once every other week with my boyfriend (who by the way doesn't drink alcohol! and is 24 years old). The woman that works there and works in the wine department knows us very well because of our frequency in the shop. However she has always been extremely unfriendly and just a total snob. On the last occasion, and this will be, pun intended my last occasion visiting this shop, I went in with my boyfriend who did not pick up any liquor/wine/beer or make any recommendations about what I should buy and she asked to see both of our IDs. When he said he left his wallet at home, she said you both need to get out of here immediately, pointing her finger at the door in a very accusatory fashion. I have seen countless examples of parents at Little's Wine with their 3-10 year old children and the children are never IDed because they are clearly not purchasing alcohol or involved in the transaction in anyway whatsoever. It also made me extremely angry that this woman who has served us in multiple wine tastings and who has checked both of our IDs a countless amount of times could be so rude and accusatory when clearly she knew we were both over 21. I understand legal issues and store policies but the manner she handled herself was extremely rude and off-putting. If you are looking for a similar wine store in the area, I found R&D Wine shop near wash park that has an even better selection of wine (fewer wines, and they're all incredible), offers fun wine tastings as well as wine classes, and incredible customer service. read more

I found Little's while searching New Planet Beer's website for liquor stores in my neighborhood that carried NPB's Belgian Ale. I'm absolutely astonished by Little's Wine & Liquor - it's quite possibly the nicest liquor store I've been to! They have an excellent selection of gluten free beers at competitive prices, and if you go on Saturdays, there's a 10% discount off your entire purchase between 10am and 3pm. Congratulations Little's, you've now become my liquor store of choice! read more

Little's is the shit. They are very kind and Carry a ton of options for craft beer. There sour selection is on point too . Obviously bring your ID to the liquor store and enjoy read more

I wandered into this place five years ago when I lived by DU, and I still try to stop in as much as I can now that I've moved to Cap Hill. Sure, it's nice living within walking distance of a certain big-name store, but they do not have the atmosphere and customer service that this place does. I've spent tons of time talking to John, who is an awesome dude, and getting great beer recommendations. The beer cave is awesome, and they have an excellent selection, even with such a small store. Even though I don't get to go there as much these days, it will still always be my favorite spot in town. Highly recommended for beer geeks like me. read more

The standard has been set by the staff at Little's. They are so very helpful and knowledgeable about what they sell. Hard to buy beer and wine anywhere else. read more

A great find. A nice selection and helpful staff. I told what I liked and they steered me towards some great low-cost specials.

Amazing Beer selection! Worth the drive even if you live downtown. I was blown away by the back room.

Hands down the best wine and liquor store in South Denver. Amazing selection of unique craft beers and wines. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable on their selections. Don't miss the underground beer and wine cellar, selections from 2010 or older. And tasting Thursdays! read more

Great selection for such a small shop. Always ready with a quick review or suggestion. Beer cave is cool!

Smaller shop, but they have managed to serve up the best of the best. I spend 20 minutes in the beer cave, always something new and rare. It's heaven for me. The staff is honest and friendly. They give the dog milk bones, attention and love. I used to go to the bigger LQ down the street (and closer to home) but had a bad experience. So now I go a little further and get a lot more. Plus, tastings on Friday and Saturday. Who could go wrong? read more

Check out the beer cave here, its top notch. They also have free beer and wine tastings every week which are fun ways to find a new drink to take home. The employees are also very knowledgeable and can help you find your new favorite beer. read more

A few months ago this was my spot I use the come here all the time because I knew the exclusive beers where here. Actually Still Are Here. But today I came to the shop like I always do after shopping at total beverage and not finding the Wield Werks I want like always you guys come in clutch with some of the good ones from Wield Werks or Willey Roots. After a long Drive from Thornton I came in saw you guys had my beer and got super excited to go home and enjoy it but unfortunately you guys Wornt accepting cash I know how we have COVID-19 and we need to wear mask & or gloves but as customer I feel only a mask is acceptable but as a bud tender at a dispensary I feel like Mask & Gloves are Extremely necessary why because as a business we both deal with CASH! Cash is King every where you go no matter what and you guys aren't accepting it? Shame on you guys for trying to control how I choose to spend my money extremely disappointed so I stand with my rating until further notice. read more

Solid. This is the best beer store I've been to in the Denver area to date. Wonderful chilled selection and a friendly employee who really seemed to enjoy his job. Go into the cooler; there's a mini beer cave in their full of further chilled, tasty barley offerings. I was impressed with the prices as well. Many smaller shops tend to jack these up, but everything I saw was reasonably priced, and none of that "oh this is really special so let's charge a lot more than reasonable" for subpar or soso beers as well. Little's appears to be a serious player in the beer service via liquor store route. I even had some questions about some hard to get beers I was searching out and the employee offered to research it and contact me. Outstanding service. Good prices. Go now. Buy beer. read more

Great until the newest staff came in. Rude young man who doesn't care about customers. I hope they figure this out soon. Best selection of liquor in the DU area, but I shop where I feel like my money is wanted. read more

If you're a beer connoisseur this is your place! Their beer selection and bomber cave is the best in the area and the owners really know and appreciate good beer. They also sell wine and liquor, but i can only comment on the beer as this is all i drink and buy from Little's. it is a small "mom and pop shop" with a quiet laid-back atmosphere. Prices are comparable to other local liquor stores too. read more

Great selection of beer. The guy who works there is very knowledgeable about beer. Very helpful and friendly. Don't miss the walk in cooler to the right when you immediately walk in. They also let me bring my bike inside so I don't have to deal with locking it outside on a sign post. read more

I went in there the other night while on a trip to Denver. Met a really nice guy named Cody, he was very helpful. Helped me pick a nice bottle of wine. I will be going back there every time I go to Denver. read more

Unfortunately I drove all the way from Aurora to have a terrible experience for what I thought was a simple purchase. I heard from a customer they had a beer in stock I have been looking for so I decided to trek over to get it. But before driving out there I decided to call to double check stock. A gentleman answered the phone and said they had the beer in stock, so I headed out. Upon arriving 2 gentleman were working. One greeted us and the other stocked items. Upon looking for the beer I was seeking and not finding it I asked one of the gentleman if they had the beer in stock. Much to my surprise he said no, they usually sell out quite quickly. I am not quite sure what kinda place lies to there customers but it is pretty sad I drove all the way there and didn't get what I came for. Even though someone there said they had them in stock. I know where not to go for liqour and will sure let everyone know that the employees lie to customers. Sad business practices. read more
