The trays are slightly tilted toward the front so you can see the meat better, but all the bloody liquid had collected along the front edge while the meat was sitting on top of it. It looked like the frozen meat had been thawed, with all that liquid just sitting there. Some of the meat had also turned gray. Honestly, it looked really gross and didn't look fresh or appetizing at all. I walked around the meat department twice, but not once did a staff member come over to help. They were just standing there chatting with each other. What is going on with the meat department? I ended up grabbing a box of pre-marinated beef and a few vegetables. I walked around the other departments, and everything else was still good and looked well maintained.
