I had the mango shrimp wrap which was nicely filled with plumb shrimp cooked just right. The fried calamari was slightly over cooked and felt like it was from a frozen bag not fresh from the water. The mozzarella sticks also seemed to come from a bag and the one I attempted to eat had no cheese inside. Right on the marina where you can watch the various ships and boats come in while you grab a quick brunch. Good place to meet some of the locals. I grabbed the local catch of the day platter and a 1/2 lbs of peal and eat shrimp with a beer. enjoyed a peaceful hour. It's located close to the southern ferry. so it's a great place to relax if you're waiting. Staff were quick and efficient. Parking is limited and it is a busy spot. I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was, as many times the restaurants on the water are overpriced and underwhelming. I had the fried shrimp platter and my husband had the crab. Both were very fresh and delicious. My husband really enjoyed the 1718 local beer. The pricing was fair, the service was good and the view was very pretty. I was very happy that being that close to the dock and fish cleaning stations that there was no bad smell at all, that might change in warmer weather but in April it was perfect to sit outside and enjoy the view. read more

Nice beer wine and food bar right on marina. Service was excellent. Just did appetizers of calamari rings. ( slightly chewy) a crab cake( very good and peel and eat shrimp. I know most places don't devein but these had large poop trails and wife couldn't eat them. They did right and exchanged for a deep fried shrimp basket. ( very good tasting and a good amount. It was not windy no public announcement that they were closed but when we got down there, guess what they were closed. Went there today 310 in the afternoon all of a sudden nope we're closed! The server, Bethany was professional, prompt and very efficient! They even provided a water bowl for our pet. 4 of us ordered the seafood platters, variant foods, fried shrimp, oysters, Maui Maui , a cheeseburger, onion rings (that were DELICIOUS) , and a crab/mango wrap. It took us 3 hours to get here. Probably would do it again. On a weekend away to OBX we travelled down from Kill Devil Hills to explore Okrakoke. The place was very busy on a Sunday afternoon, so we approached with the island vibe and patiently waited our turn. The fried calamari was lightly breaded and delicious. The fried fish platter was the same. No sweet slaw here. So tasty. But the best thing on the table was the Ginger Tuna Wrap. Just enough spice from the ginger to make this sandwich interesting. Large portions of perfectly cooked tuna wrapped with ginger aioli, tomatoes, and herbs. The pasta salad was a palate cooling compliment. Would definitely make the trip down again. read more

Definitely a local spot. This place is crawling with people...it seems like the whole island came here for a drink. The view is pretty pleasant and it's a good atmosphere. It's a decent place to chill out and enjoy the breeze. Drinks were so so. I ordered the mango mimosa, and it honestly tasted nothing like mango but the orange garnish was quite delicious so I ate it! Love love love SmacNally's. This is an outdoor seating restaurant literally right on the marina. You can just about reach out and touch the boats tied up there. Service was friendly and attentive. The food is outstanding. My wife had the cheeseburger wrap. She has never had one of these before and absolutely loved it. Of course that could have been because of the mango strawberry mimosas she had. I had red drum and scallops blackened. So good and nice size portions. This is our third time here and haven't been disappointed at all. Please realize this is an outdoor seating place and plan accordingly. read more

The views , service and staff are absolutely great here. The food and drinks were brought out efficiently. The server who waited on us was very gracious, checked in often if we needed anything. The mimosa bar was fabulous with many flavors. The chilled beer with that view hit the right spot. The fries and onion rings tasted really good with big portions. The only feedback would be that it would be great if you could have a 3 combo appetizer with smaller portions available (fries, onion rings and hush puppies or something similar added to the menu) so when 2 people visit , they can get a variety of smaller portions for a reasonable price than spending 25 dollars on 3 separate big portions of appetizers. read more

Found this place through a Yelp search and was so glad we chose here for lunch. I really appreciate the option to put our name down and be texted when our table was ready. This allowed us to walk around by the water. The wait wasn't bad at all and we were able to be seated right next to the water. I loved their set up with all of the umbrellas touching each other so it was shaded over the whole deck. I had their mango shrimp wrap and it was delicious. I loved the curly fries it came with. We loved this little place for lunch. It was quite crowded around 2 on a Sunday. But we were seated after about a 15 to 20 min wait and got a table right near the edge of the water. Our waitress was friendly and prompt. I had the mango shrimp wrap which was delicious, could probably even be more delicious if some sort of sauce was added! Great waterfront dining experience, great food and good service! After our ferry ride we stopped for lunch, seated right away right on "the dock"! Ate there with my dog and had a great experience! My dog having a great time is in the picture. Fries are out of thisworld, some of the best I've ever had. Wait staff was great, bartender could have been a little quicker but I am not complaining cause I was on island time and there was a lot of people at the bar.
