This restaurant is one of the best on the island. Skip some of the older more well known spots and come here! The service was excellent and the food was too.We tried many different types of oysters, crab dip, the catch of the day and for the non seafood eaters, we had a chicken sandwich. As a restaurant that is known for oysters, their selection of non seafood was incredible. Do not skip the sidewinder fries with spicy ranch! The standouts were the crab dip, Nashville Hot sandwich and the Ceviche oysters.

Was looking for a dog friendly spot for lunch on a day trip to Ocracoke and found this cool spot on bringfido.com. Oysters Ocracoke as an app. Yummmmmm. Crab stuffed flounder for the hubs and a blackened shrimp protein bowl for me. Excellent service by Luke and even better ambiance. Will become a repeat spot for sure!!

Food & service was first class. I had a Ruben with the sidewinder potatoes. The corned beef was very tender. The potatoes were delicious. My wife had the mahi tacos with mango salsa. She loved it!

Standing outside of the Okracoke oyster company. Had a yummy IPA, the food smelled amazing but we were just making our way shopping. Shout out to our bartender from California who was hustling.

Such a great place to eat!! Food was delicious. The service was spot on, even to the extent that they moved the umbrellas around so we all had some shade. Waitress was friendly and helpful. We sat outside so the outside ambiance was so chill it was great. I had the soft shell crab po boy, it was better than any I've had, including NOLA. The fried shrimp kids meal was huge. Definitely worth a return trip.

Had the Oyster's Rockefeller and they were fantastic along with the mahi mahi tacos, blackened. I'm new to Oyster's Rockefeller, having only had them two or three times before but these best out all the others I've tried. There's a huge difference in same day caught, fresh oysters and I know that now. Blackened mahi tacos were excellent and were served with a side of black beans and rice, both were also great. Service was spectacular. We both had the house Bloody Mary's and those were awesome as well. We loved the outdoor patio seating.

Christmas week on Ocracoke is an odd time. It's definitely the offseason where most of the dining options on the island are seasonally closed but as I've seen on each of my three Christmas week visits over the years, if you add good weather to the mix, there are a lot of hungry people looking for somewhere to go and that's exactly what we got at OOC. Service: Good enough all things considered. It was early afternoon on a weekday and the place was mobbed. 15-20 minute for a table and the only thing they had was outside seating which is crazy in late December, but when it's sunny and 60 degrees it works. Our server was doing the best she good but was frazzled big time with all of the tables she had. She initially gave us another table's drink order and dropped one of our entrees on the ground but overall, I guess it could be worse. Food: This is where the three star rating comes from. I can't say that anything was bad, but I'm not going to say that anything was memorable either. BBQ Pork Nachos - Peppercorn Burger - Pasta of the Day - Fried Shrimp Platter - Rueben The nachos are probably what worked best. Good meat to sauce ratio and it was a solid portion for the price. The pasta was the entree the server dropped so it took a while to get another one rendered, the bacon on the peppercorn burger was limp white underdone even though I asked for it to be crispy and the bread on the Rueben seemed stale. The pricing isn't bad considering where you're at and overall, I am glad they chose to be open versus the majority of their peers on the island. But the food is at best middle of the road ok which is why for me, three stars is spot on.

My family always hits the Oyster Company each time they come to Ocracoke. They suggested this place when I came with them last year. The fresh local oysters are excellent. The baked oysters eat like salty pizza bites. They are awesome. My family orders a dozen oysters for the table, half raw and half cooked. We usually add an appetizer and drinks to go with them. This year saw the same. We ordered a dozen oysters and some seafood entrees to share among the five of us. The food was great! I'm happy with the food and service here. The bugs like this place too, so apply some repellent before dining here. Otherwise, I recommend the Oyster Company to anyone looking for quality seafood in the heart of Ocracoke Village.

Really fun and lively spot for food and drinks. Be prepared to wait because it is very crowded and when I went they were short staffed. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. Ordered the chicken salad with fig and balsamic vinaigrette. Ocracoke is famous for figs so I was excited to try the dressing, but wasn't as strong of a flavor as I would have liked. Great portion size and still tasty! My bf ordered the peppercorn burger and really enjoyed it! We came during live music, which was very nice. I would definitely come back!

Food is decent but for the price, their quantity is I must say pretty bad. Ambience is fine, now parking is minimal.

I highly recommend Dajio Restaurant. The meal was excellent. I had the blackened ahi on a salad. It was fresh and perfectly cooked. There's a decent but minimal selection of wines by the glass, and I went with a Sauvignon Blanc that paired perfectly. Most of the wines have good ratings by the major wine reviewers. Service was outstanding. The server had that classic beach-town ease (local or seasonal) but really knew the menu and did a great job. At one point, a woman who appeared to be management stopped by the table to check in. When she asked how things were, my answer was simple: "Incredible." The atmosphere is exactly right, relaxed but still polished, with just the right amount of energy without feeling crowded or chaotic. That balance is harder to get right than people think, and they've nailed it. I don't hand out compliments lightly, but this place delivers. Simple, fresh food, executed properly. No gimmicks, no shortcuts. This is absolutely a place you should try if you're in Ocracoke. I'll be back.

MOON EGG ROLLS These egg rolls were so deliciously fresh and crunchy. Every bite was full of minced pork, shredded carrots, cabbage and vermicelli. Dipped with their homemade sweet chili sauce, just divine! SHRIMP SPRING ROLLS Rice paper rolled with vermicelli, fresh greens, carrots, cilantro, and shrimp. Dip into the housemate peanut sauce for the best bite. Every bite was so crunchy and fresh, just delicious. The rolls were rolled nice and tight, zero spillage. Very impressed with how stuffed these were. So yummy. DRUNKEN NOODLES We got a medium heat and Thai level hot. Oh my lord these were tasty! We chose chicken for our protein. I love drunken noodles and Thai Moon's style is veggie and flavor heavy, just how I like it. Chewy, flat rice noodles, onions, tomatoes, chilis, garlic and fresh basil leaves; every bite was just an explosion of saucy flavors and textures. In hindsight, we should've just gotten medium because the Thai level one had us SWEATING and chugging our drinks. Delicious nonetheless, but note to self stick with medium if you like spicy, but want to enjoy your meal. Portions are generous, so you'll have enough for leftovers to enjoy the next day. Love the Thai food here, highly recommend!

We came early for apps and drinks and were considering if we wanted to stay for our dinner meal too since the menu looked fantastic (and the ragu was eyeing me down!). It was surprisingly incredibly quiet with only a few of the porch tables taken, so we didn't feel like we were holding anyone up since it was quiet and early. While we were deciding on dinner, the waitress approached us and asked if we made our minds up. When saying we needed a minute but wanted to start with rolls and cocktails, she said, "well can I take your menus then? Or one?" Which felt odd given there weren't many people there at all and we still wanted to decide what apps a dinner to order. Otherwise, she hadn't checked back on us for another 30 minutes after ordering drinks and bread to start, so feeling like a nuisance, and we decided not to get dinner here anymore and we'd go elsewhere. Then, trying to wave the waitress down felt impossible almost as though she was avoiding our table, we had to ask another server for her to grab our check. Otherwise, the outside porch was perfect and shady with fans and airflow for a hot summer day. Very homey! The house made bread was absolutely fantastic. The French 75 was heavy handed on the gin, which can be both good and bad depending how you look at it! Worth the money for us!

During our visit, we started with the fried green tomatoes topped with shrimp remoulade--a highlight right away. The tomatoes were crisp with just the right tang, and the remoulade added a rich, flavorful seafood kick that tied everything together nicely. For the main course, the parmesan crusted flounder was excellent: delicately cooked, lightly crisp on the outside, and tender and flaky inside, with a savory crust that didn't overpower the fish. Dessert was the flourless chocolate torte, which delivered a dense, rich chocolate finish without being overly sweet--an ideal way to close the meal.
