Hmm it couldn't hurt to take a look! They have a pretty wide selection of Halloween clothes here and luckily for me I found exactly what I needed for cheaper than the price it would take to actually make a costume. Shopping at any Once Upon a Child is dangerous for me because there's always cute stuff to buy and this one was especially the case. This location seems to have a lot of designer wear. I saw toddler dresses from Kate Spade and Hudson jeans. I didn't even know those brands came in toddler size! The one drawback of this location though is that their selection standards don't seem to be as picky as other locations so examine the clothes pretty thoroughly before buying. There were a few outfits that had holes or unwashable stains on them when I looked through the racks.

I was told that items I brought in were in "bad condition," yet this same location has items for sale that are overpriced and have obvious rips and stains. When I questioned the inconsistency, I was simply told, "That's our policy," with no further explanation or willingness to help. I completely understand having standards, but those standards should apply consistently to both what you accept and what you put out for customers to purchase. This location is an absolute joke. The customer service was just as disappointing as the experience itself. I will never be back and definitely would not recommend this location.

Lulubell Toy Bodega is a bewitching, quaint shop seated on a tiny main road running parallel to downtown. It's closer to a more industrial area so unless you know it's there or you're observant while driving, you can easily pass it without knowing it exists. I'm not a collectible toy connoisseur but I don't think it's entirely unreasonable pricing considering the people who collect these toys are probably willing to drop that kind of cash. Personally, I'm a fan of their Blind Box toys, the Munny dolls and of course, the plush Domo dolls. Oh, but that's not all.... Lulubell Toy Bodega is a mecca for local artists. They frequently host shows where artists can display their art on their beautiful white walls. This not only enables artists to show their work to a public audience in a more professional manner but it also brings the community together. In other words, it gets those downtown kids out of the bars and into something more meaningful. The owners are so immersed in their customers that I don't actually know who they are; they blend in with everyone else at the shop! (I'll meet you someday Amy & Luke!) Lulubell Toy Bodega is, without a doubt, one of the best businesses in all of Tucson. Display cases and shelves full of pre-built sets, minifigs and specialty pieces. There are plenty of retired sets. too. Our favorite at all BAM stores is their multiple bulk tables. It is a fantastic resource for finding miscellaneous Lego pieces that you need for whatever you are building. I know many people who have gotten the instructions for a set and built the entire thing from bulk. The workers are very knowledgeable and willing to help if you have questions or just let you browse their terrific selection. Many customers bring in sets from home and the staff will value them and make an offer in trade or cash. It's a cyclical way to always have a nice inventory. There are also pre-built minifigs or build-your-own, too. Kind of nice to build a minifig that looks like you or means something personal to you. If you're in the area, definitely check this store out.
