Always hesitated going here but it was the only chicken restaurant I haven't tried . I got the three piece strips with fries and toast . They came out hot and juicy with a nice breading on them I took ranch for dipping sauce. They were very tender and great taste , pleasantly surprised. . Only critique was the fries they seemed like they had sat too long under a heat lamp or something had a few wasn't appetizing and I threw them away . I want to update my review as I have eaten here many times in the last several months. It has always been really good! Maybe once we're the chips not done enough but overall the workers have been friendly and the food has been top notch. Do not waste your time! It took a long while to receive me order, so I thought, ok, cooked to order. This was not the case, the chicken and the fries were cold! The chicken tasted old, though the sauce was good. The $12 order consisted of 8 small wings a bit of fries and a slice of Texas toast. Only place in town you can get chicken and waffles. Other then chili's, but it's more of a Tex-Mex flare when this is traditional! Also the Buffalo chicken mac and cheese is great! Especially for fast food! I think it's seasonal but when it's available definitely get it! read more

When they first opened their chicken was amazing and we would come 2-3 times a week if not more because we loved their food. They must've changed the recipe because it just doesn't taste the same anymore. I hate to say it but I'd much rather have Zaxbys than slims and I hate Zaxbys. Whatever they did to their recipe it sucks and they need to bring it back to the old way. In a town of chicken restaurants I'd put this one in the upper end. I like it better than Zaxby's about the same as Popeyes. Way better than Chik. You get a lot of food for sure. Good sides too. read more

The only reason why I didn't give it 5 Stars is because of the parking situation. There isn't that many spots and it is tight. I ordered the 5 chicken wings and 5 chicken strip meal. The chicken tasted great and the fries were also good. Plenty of sauces to have your wings coated in and lots of dips for everything. They also provide a military discount which is much appreciated. Off the chain or out the trailer. First go through was off the chain. Drive through moved fast even with everyone having to check out what's on the menu. Service was fast friendly and accurate. Went there the other day and ordered the 10 pc wing and fries well I was disappointed the were not cooked to order obviously they were under a warmer where meat can dry out because my food was cold although the fries were hot which actually proves my theory it's not cooked to order only fries are can't really say it's off the chain because it is in fact a chain restaurant wish I had had a better experience.
