Place is . Order 8 piece wings I say crispy skin was rubbery inside was cold never got them fresh .. only thing got were the fries!!! Wasn't tossed in sauce at all workers are lazy as hell was only 7pm ..only one that was actually working was cashier mopping and clean dine in and taking orders.she tried to make everything right her customer service was awesome.. but whoever making food is bringing that place downhill asap. Can't cook chicken to save that place at all... again food is trash looks like management sucks as well .. will never get another dime out of me.. chicken was not done at all. First time trying Slim Chickens. Drive through review. Service was good. Person who took my order was friendly, didn't rush order placement. Took a bit but if they make it when you order then this is expected and not too long a wait. Outside was clean but it's just opened up so also expected. Food...The food was not bad. I tried the fried mushrooms. They were good. By time I got home they were a little soggy. Unable to say if fresh they would be crispy. Flavor was good. Chicken tenders were cooked well but not really a fan of the flavor. They do have a lot of sauces to choose from which is a plus. I got honey mustard, it needed more sweetness. The ranch that came with mushrooms was a little salty for my taste. Fries were eh and the toast was dry? Hard to describe the toast. It was not soft. Would I try it again? Sure. Service was absolutely horrible. I am done with this establishment. Several times, the cooks have made minor errors and normally I have no issue. However, this time my husband ordered me a slims wrap with no lettuce and it was all lettuce. Didn't get my side of ranch. The fact that I didn't get an apology and when I called the store to speak to the manager, he seemed oblivious stating he was the shift lead. Heard about the new Slim Chickens opening up in the far northwest side so I had to make a stop and try it out! I myself live in the far west side so going to this Slim Chickens location compared to the Helotes location made it more convenient for me. My wife and I visited on a Friday evening around 6:00pm, the place wasn't packed at all. Ordering was a breeze ordered using the Slim Chickens app in fact and sat in the dining room awaiting our order. The food was ready in about 10 minutes from entering right on time! I ordered the 3 and 3 includes 3 medium Buffalo wings and 3 tenders crisp and fresh paired with Cayenne Ranch and Honey Mustard I had it made. My wife ordered the 3 pc tenders came out hot and fresh all of this with fries overall the food was great! The staff was friendly when we went up to order a strawberry cheesecake jar and quickly took our order. Overall, the food was fresh and tasted great what I know and l love about Slim Chickens and I recommend you give this one a try from Tenders, Wings, Chicken Sandwiches, Wraps and Salads you can't go wrong. Over 20 minutes in the drive through. Food wasn't bad but definitely not worth the 20 minute wait. It seemed as if 1 car was holding up the line and instead of asking them to pull up and park they just held the line. One car ahead of me even bailed on their order and just left. Slim chickens has become a new favorite of mine, every time I come it's a great experience. But my visit today was not so welcoming to say the least. The girl at the register didn't have an ounce of customer service, she rolled her eyes as I would order and she was just all around super rude. Went in this chubby blacked haired girl was at register working on something, did not acknowledge me at all then started talking to her coworker another chubby guy and they were laughing at something. Hire people that actually want to work and care about the customers. They didn't acknowledge me for a good 5 minutes. I've been working here since the grand opening, and it's been an incredibly frustrating experience. The management, particularly Robert and David, are terrible at their jobs. They show clear favoritism, are two-faced, and consistently misuse their authority. Both are so incompetent that directors frequently come in to supervise and correct their mistakes. The work environment is toxic, especially when it comes to scheduling. The managers regularly give hours to people they personally like, regardless of their work ethic or reliability. If you refuse to cover for someone on your personal time or day off, you're penalized and put on a 'no-call list.' Despite frequently picking up shifts when I'm not scheduled, I overhear managers referring to certain employees as 'callbies'--people who aren't scheduled for any hours but get called in just to prevent others from getting overtime. Only managers, shift leads, and their favorites ever come close to getting overtime. If you're considering eating or working here, I recommend going somewhere else, like Canes. The name might be good, but the management is awful read more

Had slim chickens before at a different location. Wasn't bad... not great...but not bad. Edible is what I'm trying to say. This location is new and close to home. Ran out of time for the evening so had to pick up something. The food I received was not even edible. It was obvious that they served us food that had been sitting out for hours upon hours.
