I love Slim Chickens' grilled chicken, so my friend and I stopped here to dine in for a quick dinner in our way back to Pine Bluff. This looks like a new location and is decorated nicely with plenty of seating. Our cashier was really polite and gave us a number to put on our table. Our food was brought out quickly, but the order was incorrect and the young woman who brought our order out was a little unpleasant when we asked for them to be corrected, so customer service left a little to be desired. The food was really great as it usually is. I love the grilled chicken and all of the dipping sauces are great. The only thing I wish they had were more side options for days when I want something a little healthier than fries. The tables desperately needed to be wiped down, which was disappointing, so next time I will probably do the drive through. read more

Saturday at noon and only 3 customers here. People do read reviews and avoid locations with bad reviews. Our experience wasn't bad. The only problem was the temperature of the food. Everything was barely warm. My wife got the three-piece chicken, tender with the sweet chili sauce and I got the basic chicken sandwich. Everything tasted like it had been precooked. That's a big problem for me. I want fresh cooked. We would eat here often because of the variety of items on the menu. But I just will not tolerate cold food. read more

This was our first time eating at a Slim Chickens restaurant. Overall, it left a good impression on us, though it was weird to walk in and find the menu screens had glitched out! Since the folks ahead of us were looking at the menu on the counter. We pulled up the menu on a phone to scout out what we wanted. About half our order came out immediately, before we'd even all filled our drinks, and the other items came about ten minutes later. I had the smoky cheddar wrap with grilled chicken, and it was pretty good, if a bit messy--definitely something to eat at a table with a paper towel handy! (On a fun tangent, I was amused that the only items at every table were a roll of paper towels and a small bottle of Log Cabin syrup.) My son had a large macaroni and cheese along with fries and enjoyed both, while my husband had a chicken strips meal. The stand-out item, though, was the fried okra that we shared. read more

The store was clean but once I got my order I drove back to work (because I picked this up during my lunch) and ... look at this burnt bun, thin chicken, and soaked in sauce. Coming from Louisiana where we have Raising Canes, we were hesitant to try Slims, but decided to give it a go since a new location opened just minutes from our house. Pros: Clean, fast, with very friendly staff Lots of sauce choices...I really liked the honey mustard and spicy ranch. A wide variety of menu choices (one edge over Canes for sure!) Good salty fries! Dessert and drink choices Cons: My husbands "chicken strip" was more like 4 chicken nuggets...for the price of $9 that was a rip off (see picture) Slim sauce decent, but not as good as Canes sauce The bread is too garlicky IMO. Ultimate verdict? We thought it was good, but not great. We will definitely give it another shot and go back and try other items. read more

While driving across country from CA to AL. First time visit to a Slim Chickens. Drove thru and ordered two Slims salads with grilled chicken. Order taker was very friendly and helpful answering our questions. Got to the window and manager stated the only had enough grilled chicken for one. Asked us whether we wanted to wait about 5 minutes as chicken was being prepared. Said that's ok, we'll take one salad with fried. The manager was very nice, super friendly and gave us a free brownie and apologized for not having enough grilled chicken ready. The salads were fantastic! Fresh, crispy greens and both the fried and grilled chicken were delicious! The tomatoes and cucumbers were yummy and the cheese was plentiful. The honey mustard dressing was delicious too. We liked so much we visited another Slim Chickens in Amarillo the next day. read more

20 minute wait in the drive thru.Didn't mind that at all, but when we got to the window, they lost our order and we had to reorder. I ordered a club sandwich, which is suppose to have chicken breast on it, but instead I got a sandwich with no bacon and two small chicken tenders that only took up 1/2 of the bun, which meant my sandwich that cost over $6 was mostly bread and not meat. Then, someone threw a sauce into our container of food and I guess the lid had melted or warped because there was sauce all over our food. read more

Food was delicious. They just need some more help behind the front counter now that they've reopened the dining room. I was a little disgusted by the appearance of their tea containers. I always have high hopes when I go to Slim Chickens and they disappoint every time. The food isn't worth the money they charge. Plus I have to pay for every sauce. Rude and unprofessional staff. Walked in this morning 10 minutes after they opened. Figured they were still getting their day started. No other customers or anybody hitting the drive through. Nobody came to the counter to help me. I said good morning to them after a few and the kitchen staff looked at me. One employee went back to her phone. The other disappeared deeper in the kitchen. Completely ignored me. I walked out. As I hit the door, am employee sitting at a table in the restaurant poked their head up. They were sitting there the entire time. No one does anything there for as much staff as they have they should be faster the majority of employees are talking on there personal phones, having AirPods in their ears or talking to other employees about their week. They aren't very helpful and they are rude. read more
