Huge waste of $50. The entire order was incorrect - none of our selected dipping sauces were included. Asked for no bread, received bread. Had residual fries with sauce on them from someone else's order in my box even though everything I ordered was dry (no sauce). Disgusting. read more

Stopped in on a busy shopping and errand day for a late lunch. What a pleasant surprise. Chicken and Waffles (at a great price!) were so tasty. The waffle batter has a subtle vanilla flavor and the breading on the chicken was light, crispy, not-dripping with oil and robust! The two elements work in perfect unison. Now, if they had sugar-free syrup - GOLD! The fried pickles were also tasty but as you made your way down through the bountiful portion, the grease factor became too much. Finally, the counter attendant was extremely helpful. Offered suggestions and actually offered amazing customer service - THANKS! read more

This location on Shackleford is probably in the middle between the newest Slim's on Cantrell Road and an older Slim's on West Markham. Our experience here could be described as average. The interior is dark and fairly small. The food was okay but not the best I've ever had at a Slim's. There was a long wait for a few of our meals. The cranberry lemonade machine was empty the entire time even though the seasonal drink was still being advertised. The place was decent but not super clean. It was a convenient location based on where we had been but the Cantrell Road location is far and away the best one in town. read more

Took 15 min to get my food in the drive thru at 5:00pm. Once I got my food the chicken was lukewarm as well as the fries and toast. I took it in and the manager was very nice and they made it fresh. However, they need to change their fry oil out because the chicken had a very old taste, almost scorched. They also do not get in any hurry whatsoever. I'll stick with other locations for now. read more

I use to love this place but unfortunately it is going downhill. I never seem to get my right or full order. The food is cold, they always forget the dipping sauces, and keep giving unsweet tea when I wanted sweet. I ordered my son a grilled tender meal with a side of Mac and cheese. They only gave me the side. I ordered some wings and fried tenders with ranch with fried mushrooms. They gave me sauce covered tenders and cold fries. Extremely disappointed. read more

I complained bc my chicken sandwich didn't have the cheese I requested. They swapped out my chicken breast for the tiniest chicken I've ever seen STILL WITH NO CHEESE!! The cheddar cheese you see I just added. My food also cold. I'm just confused here. My friend asked for no cheese on her salad--they gave her cheese. I asked them to fix it, they took the cheese off as well as fried onions even though that wasn't asked. They threw in 3 brownies to apologize. I just wanted my food to be right and you to not touch my previous acceptable size chicken breast. Just so sad that LR chains are so poorly managed.. read more

Good food, prices aren't bad either. The atmosphere is nice but the cleanliness could use a little work.

Enjoyed Slim Chickens for several years when I passed through Fayetteville. Been to this location twice and it does not disappoint! Reasonable prices and fast service. Immediately greeted by cashier, fast process in taking order and food was delivered to the table by the time I filled my beverage. Food was warm and exactly as I ordered. Will return when I am in Little Rock again. read more

I don't understand why this place serves customers with cold chicken wings and fries. My family and I went there for dinner. The food tastes like leftover from lunch. Not warm enough and not fresh. I also have concern about hygiene of the food. My family and I have sign of loose bowels after eating there. The staff there are friendly but business is business. read more

We were traveling to Memphis and stopped here. There is a young lady there who is Gold to your store. We were the only ones there she was knowledgeable, let us sample the potato salad which was banging (very good). She then came to our table and upsold a jar dessert . She was very sweet. I regret I don't know her name. She had brunette hair. Way better service than I expected in a fast food place. read more

I'm not really impressed. After eating raising canes chicken fingers this just doesn't compare. The chicken itself is ok. Maybe i should've different another sauce. Would've rather had fries or something else other than the burnt ranch fries. They were room temperature and had a burnt flavor. The Mac n cheese wasn't bad. read more

i used the online and do not recommend. they missed my side item at over $5 when i got home and realized. the only recommendation in app and online is to call the store. i did so was on hold for about 8 minutes waiting for manager to respond. i called back and they blocked my call ! when i had opportunity to rate them on follow up by the app and an email i complained and requested refund - no response to date after one week. great food, a bit pricey compared to others, but dont use the app or online ordering and you must check your bag before leaving the Markham Street location. Slim Chickens? First time seeing this place was like wahhhhhhhhhhhh slim chickens son! However, 12PM or 10PM Slim Chickens pumps out some not so slim chicken. There wings are pretty good and the flavor is savory and excellent. The fries are also on point especially with some ranch, oh yeah. Not the healthiest option but wings & fries are one of those things your at home at night going "Slim Chickens sounds bomb right now" and of course cruise on through the drive through and they got you covered. Gluten Free no reactions to wings/ nor fries. Excellent choice. read more

How long do I have to wait for my partial refund? I ordered the southern style family meal that includes a gallon of tea. I ordered online, paid online, and picked up at crowded curbside. They do not socially distance the vehicles with open windows. The delivery person brought my order to me. I checked my order and asked her where my gallon of tea was. She told me it did not come with a gallon of tea. I asked her to look at the receipt. She said she did not have a receipt. I asked one more time and she said "no". I did not want to argue so I gave up and went home. I noticed I had an e-receipt in my email. It very clearly indicated it comes with a gallon of tea. I called the restaurant and told the person I was shorted a gallon of tea. She told me I could come back in and get it. I told her I was already home and preferred not to drive all the way back. I asked her for a partial credit and she said she will take care of it. She must have immediately self-quarantined before the credit never showed up on my account. Just one more business not ready for COVID-19. read more

Patricia serving attitude like it's her job! She gave me her total so I had my money ready when I got to the window but I notice she may have been short so I just dug out the exact coinage so the people behind me to go ahead and get through and she did not have to wait to get change. She proceeds to tell me that she already dug out my change and it couldn't be fixed because thEre was cars behind me. Anyway shout out to Patricia for serving bad attitude and bad food since I had to pull around and wait for it to come out cold! read more

I am visiting from Colorado and this is my first time eating at any Slim Chickens Restaurant. I ordered a chicken fingers meal. While the food was excellent, the service was subpar. Neither the two ladies at the drive thru said hello, thanked me for my business or even made eye contact. It made me feel as if they didn't really care if I was there or that they were there for that matter. In 2019 you simply can't do this. Management needs to address this now. read more

This slims is by far the worst I have ever been to in my entire life. I will purposely drive out of my way to go a different location before I will eat here. On more than one occasion I have ordered a large half sweet half unsweet tea, paid for it, and then was told after my food was given to me that they do not have unsweet tea or tea at all. If you do not have tea or a specific drink made then you need to have a sign on the drive through window that says you are out. There is so much more I could say, but there is not enough room in this review to list the amount of times my order has been wrong or they've failed to give me napkins or a straw. Without fail I have to get out and go inside to get my order fixed after going through the drive through. Do not go to this slims! I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but at this point it is doing them a disservice not to report the horrible service that is displayed at this slims. Someone has to speak up or this will continue to happen. read more

In Little Rock for one night as we're traveling across the US for a move. We ordered via Uber Eats to our hotel because we have a trailer attached to our vehicle, 3 kids and 2 dogs all along for the ride. Our order was delivered pretty quickly which was great and the driver was friendly; the food however was a different story. First off, everything was cold and soggy. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles and had no butter or syrup. I ordered the 8 wing meal with fried pickles. It was supposed to come with 2 dipping sauces for the chicken; I ordered Korean BBQ and Sriracha Garlic - neither came. So I ate some sauceless wings. I had fried pickles for the side which were supposed to come with ranch but that was also missing. The fried pickles were so salty that the ranch would have hopefully cut the saltiness, however it wasn't there so I'll never know. Our large order of Mac n cheese was completely missing and a whole chicken tender was also missing. I called to let the store know and they just kept saying how someone new was packing orders and there was nothing they could do. Not exactly the best meal in a town we're unfamiliar with and have limited ways of going to replace the meal. Would give 0 stars if I could have. read more

Wow I got my food fast! And it's super good and fresh. Smells fantastic. :-) Their ad says it's cooked fresh while you wait, not cooked ahead of time. I believe it. It tastes fresh. The chicken and the fries are not at all greasy. The batter on the chicken is not so thick you can't taste the chicken. Nice atmosphere. I love the jazz music. read more

I never, in a million years, thought I'd write a positive review of a chain restaurant. Even a regional one. Yet, here I am. Best tenders I've had in as long as I can remember. Everything is freshly made. The best thing, among all the really good things, is their Jar Desserts. Trust me, don't skip it. Don't skip any of it. It may be a chain but you'll be happy you visited. read more

Maybe I set my expectations too high for this place. I was a bit underwhelmed. This place reminds me of Zaxby's, but is simply put a step below. The fried pickles were extremely salty. They tasted great, but I thought I may have a heart attack after eating those things. The chicken wings were undercooked. The chicken tenders were okay. Sauces were again mediocre. Nothing special about this place. If the price were lower, my expectations would probably be met. With a name like Slim Chickens, you don't expect quality, but one would expect some good chicken. Just okay. I won't be back, though. read more

This is really good chicken. They cook it when u order . I've ate here 5-6 times. I get the chicken slider plate with ranch and it never disappoints . It's 2 large slices of toasted bread with a excellent tasting chicken tender in it with lettuce , pickle and ranch ( but u can choose whatever sauce u want, I just prefer the ranch ). It comes with fries and a coke for just under 8 bucks. This is an Arkansas original chain according to the commercials I've heard. This place is very good! read more

Four stars rather than three because it's an Arkansas owned and operated chain. It's exactly what you would expect. Good fried chicken, good sides and a clean space with fast and friendly service. Good fried chicken is very often the key to a successful Arkansas concept. They do it well. read more

Daphanie is front counter person and is friendly and took great care of us. Good food too!

I went to slim chicken in Little Rock , Ar ( Shackleford to be exact ) . I wish I could give it zero stars. First off , I was told the strawberry cheesecake jar wasn't available so I requested a refund. Instead , one of the employees decided to whip one up, his exact words. It looked and tasted awful. Next, I get home to find out that both of my Cayenne ranch chicken sandwich contains only The chicken patty and bread. The fries are cold and the strawberry lemonade taste like pure cane sugar. I also ordered chicken tenders which was not so great. That was $35 gone down the drain. I've never experienced such awful service and food in my life. read more

The food was okay but very small for the price. My husband got the chicken sandwich and he is 190 pounds and really needed about 3 to get full. I got a fried pie which was 3 bucks and the size of a twinkie. It was good but not for 3 bucks. Customer service was below average as well. read more

I love Slim Chickens.. . but not this location. The food on the last two visits was appallingly bad. I ordered the cayenne ranch sandwich, and it was a brick served on stale bread. Couldn't return because it was take-out. The time before, all of the food tasted like it had been fried in old or rancid grease. Again , take-out, and I was too lazy to go back.Im not a big fast-food eater, but when I want fried chicken, I think Slims. Will rethink and will not go back to this location. read more
