I had a really nice mix of both sour and sweet candies. I really enjoyed them. I received some of those soft candies and they were good but, not amazing. I am not a fan of black licorice. There were several types in my bag. That was the major negative about not being able to choose the candy myself. The quantity of candy was larger than I expected.. A yummy experience. I look forward to going to the store and choosing an experiencing with the entire selection.

IT'S SUGAR has raised more than $1 MILLION DOLLARS for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, thanks to the people who bought the special lollipops; AND their goal is to raise $2 Million dollars for The Make-a-Wish Foundation. So, if you are near the store, please stop in. Buy a MAKE-A-WISH lollipop. Look around. Enjoy the candy sights you see, and make a purchase. They have Totsie Roll Pops, too!! Before heading into the shops at Columbus we headed into its sugar because we're with my 10m old and he likes looking at the lights and bright colors. I picked up a mug called "wake and bake" and asked my husband does it work and how. I then put it down. When exiting an employee in a purple shirt was kind of blocking the door. I thought that was odd but people are weird. She even almost bumped into someone trying to walk in. She then accuses me of stealing the mug. I was confused and said I put it down and continued on my way, but I'm annoyed that a company that I frequented often with my older kids would accuse me of stealing. If you were watching so closely you should have done a better job and watched me place it back down. How outrageously inappropriate it was to try and smile and play with my 10 month old while you were moments away from accusing his mother. As much as my older kids like It's Sugar I'm going to be thinking twice before purchasing anything there ever again. Maybe it's for the best and I should be supporting local businesses. I'm honestly stuck on the fact that they thought a mother pushing her infant child was attempting to steal something so wildly inappropriate.

I thought it was interesting that this place offered something I rarely see. The young man was very welcoming. He said the place has been here since 2005. He said the owners are elderly and not into the latest business trends like Yelp and Google. He put the business into social media including Yelp. He said he has been really cleaning up since he became the manager three months ago. He added that the carpet is going to be replaced and shelves put up on the walls to better organize the merchandise. He was proud of his addition of the pastries and fresh coffee. He made sure I took note of the tea they also serve. The back counter has his register and lotto tickets. He came out to talk to me and when another customer arrived he returned to the rear. It's a very small space that's uncomfortable with more than one customer at a time. I really had a good experience and I can't wait return for coffee and my next lottery ticket. I'm looking forward to seeing the improvements they plan to continue at this small business. The new manager is doing a great job.

They have an OK selection of chocolate and gummy candies, but I do wish the tags had flavor explanations on them. It was hard discerning what candies would taste like by just their names. A good amount of their selections were the same texture so it was underwhelming in that sense, and I also wasn't too blown away by the flavors of the candies I chose. Overall I felt like I had a better selection at lil sweet treat, so if I had to pick one or the other to shop at, it would be lil sweet treat.

My friend and I decided to try their fruit yogurt bowl and we were very disappointed. The yogurt bowl had barely any yogurt. It was just a layer of fruit and clear crystal boba with a thin layer of yogurt on top, and topped off with raisins. All of that was $11. My friend was really disappointed, and so was I. Overall, I would not come back here and if I do I will definitely be getting something else.
