Nice fro-yo spot! Waited about 10 minutes to enter on a weeknight. The flavor of the day was peach tart so I did that swirled with tart with strawberries as a topping. I wish the peach flavor as stronger - would likely just get the peach tart alone rather than swirled. I love a fruit topping and they are generous with it (hefty scoop under the cup and another scoop on the side of the swirled fro-yo). I wish they had two toppings for the price but they do give a good serving of fro-yo, which keeps its shape and is extremely stable in the heat. Good bite and not too heavy!

I was walking by Birdie's on a Sunday afternoon and the line was super short so i decided to try it. It's cute and the fro yo was fine but I genuinely do not understand what the hype is about this place.
Was Birdie's good? Yes. Was it worth the line? No! It's hard to mess up frozen yogurt in my eyes, so of course Birdies was delicious! Reminded me more of a soft serve than froyo. It's criminal that only one topping is on the house and I wish we were able to serve ourselves like at a traditional froyo joint. I got the vanilla/chocolate swirl with Oreos and the Nutella Crunch. It was perfectly sweet and creamy. The crunch was unique and delicious! Happy I tried it, but not dying to stand in line again!

The line to the register is narrow and there's no flow so you're stuck at the front if it's busy. There's a candy bar on the side in line for purchase which o thought was cute. Service was a little fast, they had two people taking orders. It was a little loud though so the employees had a difficult time hearing our order. We got the original tart with mochi and strawberries. The mochi had a nice texture and tasted fresh. The original tart however, was disappointing. There was no tartness to it at all and tasted almost like vanilla - just less sweet. Overall an ok experience, just wish the tart was actually tart.

Loved all the toppings and pretty quick service- you order it and then they bring it out to you which took a couple more minutes. Their cookie dough & brownies are delish! One of my favorite frozen yogurt spots in the WV! Birdies has one of my favorite toppings selections- the biscoff butter is a must try. They'll also put the toppings at the bottom of your cup as well, so you get an equal spread of toppings throughout your froyo! The line can sometimes be long, but it moves quickly.
Finally tried birdies in greenwich! Thankfully they had no line today, but again it was raining lol! The staff is nice and they do have a bit of seating area. It reminds me of pinkberry in the fact that you don't get to decide how much you get and they create the froyo for you, but they did have some good toppings and very unique in the fact that they add toppings to the bottom. They are VERY GENEROUS and The most bang for your buck compared to other froyo places where you make your froyo, add your toppings, and you end up spending over 20 for froyo lol!

I think we waited about 20 minutes to get inside then another 5-10 for the yogurt. The place is packed of people either waiting to order, waiting for the yogurt, or sitting and eating. There's someone managing how many people can come in from the line outside but still it feels very chaotic in there. I tried the passion fruit yogurt which was great and my friend got the chocolate vanilla swirl. Guys, really tasty, but again, it tastes like the frozen yogurt I grew up with even in my small town in Connecticut. Very cute place, but so expensive. Glad I tried, I won't be running back though

Along with several other froyo shops that have opened recently... and many in within short walking distance from each other, Birdie's is a popular spot in the Village (7th Avenue South/Charles Street). Lots of charming "Birdie's" branding on the walls, shelves and even the trash can. Team immediately "welcomes" each guest as they walk in and help you decide flavors and toppings. They assemble the froyo and toppings, it's not self serve. Choose from small, medium or large cups ($8, $10, $12 includes one house topping). After tasting the Peach flavor of the day (too subtle on flavor, wanted it more peachy), I ordered a small chocolate froyo, with pistachio sauce and strawberries (pistachio $2.50 premium topping, strawberries house topping). I thought the small size was a perfect amount, pistachio sauce was a little sparse for the price, but it was a nice addition to the cup... I would order this combo again for sure! There's often a line, but it moves fast and you will be happy you waited. I'm hooked on this froyo trend... bring it on! there's room for all, but definitely don't skip out on Birdie's. Tastes like creamy soft serve ice cream. They also have candy jars. Tables inside and outside. read more
Of course I had to hop on the froyo hype and try Birdie's. Luckily, the line was only 5 minutes on a weeknight before closing. We got a small cup ($8) with an extra topping (+$1.50). I like that you can choose two flavors, so we opted for tart and raspberry tart. The tartness isn't too tart though. For toppings, we got the chocolate covered pretzels and mochi. I like that they put toppings on the bottom and top, which is a nice surprise when you get to the bottom. There's seating indoors and outdoors as well. Nothing I'd wait over half an hour for, but great treat otherwise. read more

Honestly not sure why they had a line. It was basic frozen yogurt. Nothing special at all. The portion was big and you could swirl. Lots of sprinkles were included in the price. The place is small. It's not bad just not worth a long wait. read more

I tried to take advantage of the Knicks game but alas there was still a line.. Once we got inside, the ordering process was very smooth. I griped initially about the $2.50 passion fruit sauce, and while I still think that's a steep price for some sauce, it was very good read more
Overall: The frozen yogurt is good but the experience is not. Maybe worth it if you can catch it without a line, but not worth the wait in my opinion. Frozen Yogurt: 4 Service: 2 Value: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Frozen Yogurt: The yogurt itself was pretty solid. You get a base flavor with toppings mixed in. The toppings are generous and are well mixed. I got the chocolate base with crushed Oreos. Pretty good but a step below amazing. Service: The employees are all friendly but they move at a snails pace. For some reason it seems to take several minutes per person to order. Value: The prices here are frankly shocking. Prices are 8/10/12 for small/medium/large. On top of that, they charge up to $2.50 for a premium topping and $1.50 for a regular. Absolutely not worth it. Atmosphere: The place is extremely small and the line fills almost all of it. There's people waiting everywhere. read more
Super cute fro yo spot across from the new free grocery. Emphasis on cute because the shop is small with a few tables in front. Ate: Small cup with hazelnut crunch & strawberries $11.43 ouch The fro-yo is yummy. I tried regular chocolate and vegan chocolate both excellent. I went with hazelnut crunch because it was the only chocolate like flavor but I'm not a crunch person and would've preferred straight chocolate topping. The strawberries tasted frozen and would've been better room temperature. This place is incredibly popular but at that price, my return visit will be slow. read more

SERVICE - located in the west village near Washington square park - limited indoor seating at tables for groups of 2-4 people - interior decor is vintage and makes you feel like you are in an older candy store - frozen yogurt ordering area at the back of the store and seating in the front was a slightly awkward layout - the servers that i got were not very friendly. when i asked a simple question about allergens, they made me feel like I should have known the ingredients in the toppings already. - no restrooms available for customers MENU - frozen yogurt with inventive toppings - limited vegan options available - average price FOOD - vegan chocolate frozen yogurt with raspberries (6/10): this was the only vegan base flavor and i went with fruit as a topping because i knew it had no allergens. The base was creamy and tasted like chocolate pudding. I was hoping for it to be richer in chocolate and less sweet. I also felt like it was not as silky as the dairy versions looked. The raspberries were a good topping option to add tartness to the chocolate base. I would have liked a crunchy and or saucy topping option as well. WOULD I GO BACK? Not sure. This is such a cute shop that has frozen yogurt and candy. The staff here are super friendly and welcoming. They have some indoor seating and the ambiance is a very warm and welcoming place. I got the regular chocolate frozen yogurt with Chocolate sprinkles and Oreos as toppings. Since I have a nut allergy they took toppings from the back to make sure there was no cross contamination, which is great they are able and willing to do this for their customers. It is all very good. I will get some candy as well. They have a mix of sour candy, chocolate and gummy candy. If you are in the area, I highly recommend you check this shop out. read more

Very good vegan froyo! The one vegan flavor is chocolate and it was excellent - just sweet enough. They have a variety of toppings (Oreos, chocolate chips, mochi, fruit, sprinkles, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, etc), one of which comes with your cup and the others you can pay extra for. I appreciate that they have vegan chocolate instead of a sorbet or fruit flavor and would love to see more vegan flavors if they expand at all. We waited about 10 minutes after ordering to receive our cups. It's very busy and popular now. There is indoor seating and I hope in the summer they have outdoor seating as well. read more
One thing I take very seriously in this life is Frozen Yogurt. And as Birdie's is a new opening in NYC of course I had to try it. My friend insisted it was one of the best spots and it didn't disappoint. However, Birdie's is going to be good to a specific type of Froyo lover. It is not very tart and tends to be more on the sweet side. Which, if that's your vibe it's delicious, however it hits more on the soft serve side of Froyo. The establishment its self is super cute, and if you can go at the right time without a line it's totally worth it! read more

The froyo and toppings are pretty standard, not worth standing in line for but we wanted to try it once. We waited about 40 minutes in line on a Friday night. I got a small chocolate vanilla swirl with chocolate chips, cookie dough and chocolate hazelnut crunch sauce. The toppings and yogurt were good, but definitely on the pricey side, and I didn't feel anything was exceptional or worth waiting in line for. It's also not self serve, but they do put the toppings on the top and bottom which is a nice touch. The inside is small with a few tables, so it's probably better to take it to go or eat it outside. read more

I have only been here once so far because I was in the neighborhood & I saw a line to get inside but service was quick & friendly & a "small" portion of the froyo is more than satisfying for a sweet cold treat. The froyo options on the menu when I went were vanilla, chocolate, tart yogurt, peanut butter & vegan chocolate. I got the vegan chocolate & it's definitely a great option for vegans or for anyone who prefers non-dairy options. The first topping you get is free & each additional is a bit extra $ but still very reasonably priced. Also on the left side of the shop (as you are waiting for your order) you can check out the nice selection of candies sold by the pound. The decor & indoor seating area is very aesthetic but in a very comfortable cozy inviting way. There was some outside seating when I went because the weather was lovely. It seems like a great place to come by yourself or with a friend. Birdies is DEFINITELY a place that I would come to! read more
This new froyo shop is the West Village is one of my favorite new openings of froyo in the city in the past year! The shop is very cute with some seating at the front, and a small candy shop inside. When I went on a sunny day, there was a small wait but it wasn't too bad (maybe 10 minutes AT MOST). They have a small selection of froyos (~6 flavors) with good toppings of fresh fruit, chocolate, and more decadent toppings. I ended up just getting their tart froyo with strawberry. Portions were good but I will say that the tart froyo leans a bit more on the creamy side than tart. If you are into that then this is perfect for you. Super cute shop. Decent prices. We waited 45 minutes to finally try their froyo but were unfortunately underwhelmed :( by the time we got to the front of the line, they were out of tart of all flavors.. opted for the peanut butter, chocolate and vanilla trio w mochi and cookie dough. Good but pricey. I came at around 4PM on a Tuesday and was sad to hear that tart was out. But, luckily no line! I had their small size peanut butter with strawberries and cookie dough. The toppings were great and I'm glad they add some to the bottom of the cup too. The frozen yogurt itself was alright, nothing too special. I sat inside as they have a few tables and people watching seats. read more
this spot sadly is very over hyped. I'm lucky because I went during the week with no line, and tried their peanut butter and tart flavor and got it swirled. Also, added yogurt chips + cookie dough and unfortunately between the yogurt and the cookie dough - it fell a little flat for me. Very bland flavoring and didn't have the punch i'd thought it have. I am a big fan of culture for their tart rich flavors and would choose that over this. Sorry to say!! It was creamy (which I liked) but the flavor was dull. Staff was very friendly and the owner was attentive + only one topping free + an additional $1.50 or more for premium toppings is just not my steez but glad I got to try it! read more
i've been here three times already and guaranteed the toppings are the best i've ever had at a froyo shop! the dark chocolate crunch and the biscoff crunch are some of the best, crunchiest, and delicious toppings!! the froyo itself is almost a soft serve consistency and it actually isn't that tart. i honestly prefer the tart flavor from culture the most, but the toppings here really make it worth it. space is small and when its peak busy, don't bet on getting a seat. also, the service can be really good OR really rude truly depending on who's working at the time. my second time visiting the girl working was so mean :( read more

another NYC line waited in and unfortunately/fortunately(?!?) another one that's worth it - it is pretty undeniable the frozen yogurt is delicious. it's refreshing yet thick and creamy. even for a small size they load it on. they were somehow out of the original tart flavor....so we opted for vanilla and peanut butter. the vanilla was very soft serve- like but less so than the chocolate flavor we sampled (yes samples!!) and the peanut butter was milder and much more froyo-like - the absolute pile of froyo is sandwiched with toppings. they start with a layer in the cup of the one included "house" topping. I opted for m&ms and my dining companion opted for mochi. - for a premium topping, for the tough to swallow price of 2.50....i added the house made brown butter cookie dough. thus was legit. very brown butter forward and special. however I saw some ppl leave with triple what I got and others with 1/2 so truly matters on who makes it if that 2.50 is worth it - the strawberries were ripe and fresh and nothing froze in the froyo, showcasing its fluffy and lightness. read more

the service is good but the line gets long and the store has very limited seating. this isn't my favorite froyo spot, but they have some good topping options and the store is cute. i would say their froyo is more like soft serve and is on the sweeter side. read more
