Oh my gosh what a crazy experience. This is about Customer Service not food. Thursday night before Florida n Georgia.? Ceiling fans at high speed an advised by bartender he can't control the speed. Relocated to an interior part of the bar. The restaurant was not busy which was surprising. Sat at the bar 5 minutes while the 2 bartenders looked at their phones and chatted. We ordered our drinks and upon arrival immediately ordered food. Then the wait was on. We waited and waited ordered another round and finished round two and still waiting. I asked the female bartender where our food was and..... she snapped the restaurant is packed . Umm as I looked around there were more tables empty than customers. Multiple seats at bar. 15 minutes later Oysters arrived. 10 minutes later food arrived. A whopping one hour and fifteen minutes after order. The female bartender was rude the male was busy throwing back shots. The oysters were good, Grouper Sandwich adequate and Mahi special was sparse. Such a disappointing experience!
Nice beach bar in Atlantic. Love the outdoor and indoor seating with live music, walkability to other bars and restaurants and the beach is great. We asked the staff if they would put on a hockey game for us and they were kind enough to switch one of the TVs. The cocktails were great & we also had the hushpuppies, oysters, and peel and eat shrimp. Overall the food is just okay but the atmosphere is great for a pre or post beach day!
My husband and I just had an amazing dinner here for our one month wedding anniversary. The staff (Stella Gage and Adam) provided us exceptional friendly service. We had freshly caught succulent red snapper, fresh big sized raw oysters, fried okra, french fries, hush puppies, Key-lime pie and Carmel cheesecake. The food was amazing! The ambience was very casual surf vibes. I highly recommend you come out and enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner!
Came for weekend brunch with a larger group, approximately 20 people. Called ahead and they advised we come as close to opening as possible so they could accommodate us. Got a few starters to share: ahi tuna and oysters Rockefeller. Ahi tuna was amazing- very fresh! The oysters were good but not something to write home about. I would like to try other flavors next time to see if I like others better. The brunch was decent- I really enjoyed my breakfast sandwich. They have a good variety of entree options which appeased our large group. Server did well with so many people and the checks were accurate. Nice place to be able to sit outside near the beach!
We came midweek as a group of 6 for lunch. We were one of only a couple parties in the restaurant. It was a nice ambiance. I'd like to go back to sit outside some other time. It was just WAY too hot this trip. That created a little bit of a bummer. Inside, there was a little bit of that mildewy smell when the bar mats aren't properly washed and left to dry. The bathrooms were also... not great. Which was surprising considering the amount of people in there at the time. With that out of the way, let's move onto the food and drinks. Everyone enjoyed their beverages, I only had water, so I'm sharing the groups contribution here. I had a Cesar salad and added shrimp. The salad itself was wonderful, and I really liked their croutons! However, the grilled shrimp was way too salty. To the point it made me pucker. I also tried some of the shrimp po' boy. Those fried shrimp were excellent and the sandwich overall was great. Fries were also pretty good! Now, absolutely top tier was the service. Our server was excellent and took very good care of us. Had great recommendations when asked as well. I would normally knock off another star for the super salty shrimp, but I admittedly did not give them the opportunity to fix it. I wasn't super hungry and was sated with the part of the po' boy I had. I'm sure had I said anything, they would have put in effort to fix, and make it right. Overall this is a fun spot right near the beach and I would likely go again!
3.75 Went on a week eve, seated right away. Great overall vibe. Casual and beachy. Server- nice, but was handling most of the restaurant so some extended waits. Ordered a few drinks, good flavor. Food was mixed across, shared apps: Oysters Rockefeller- ok but salty Oyster Godzilla- very good Bacon wrapped scallops- chewy and no flavor Crab fries- very good Fried pickles- good Okra- (we didn't even order but tried) Conch fritters- super good with chunks and good sauce Will try again, switching up the choices.
Now we know where the cool kids hav out on Sundays at Neptune Beach. Live music every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Outdoor seating on a nice day. Furry friends are allowed. They bring water tins for pets. Good was great! Fresh food that was just lovely on the palate. Service was good, no complaints. Even during a busy weekend. TV's are outside. We ordered the fish bites, fish Reuben and added shrimp. The fries were good too! Definitely intend to come back here and try other items on the menu.
Daughter in town from Cali wanted oysters so here we are. Server was great. Oysters were a bit pricey and not super cold but tasted fresh. Chunky chowder was good and filling. Ambiance is like a neighborhood bar. The outdoor patio and lounge area is very nice in good weather and can accommodate large parties.
Good place to eat by the beach. They had happy hour on their oysters and it was a special on Thursdays. So check out what their specials are. They have indoor and outdoor seating ! They also have an outside Area where kids can play around. They have a bar too if you just wanted to come in for some drinks
Stopped in on a Wednesday night for a late snack-dinner at the bar. Trevor recommended the bacon wrapped scallops and he was on point with that! The bourbon sauce that drizzled into the grilled pineapple was delicious! Complemented my well-made bay breeze perfectly. Great service, casual ambience, never felt rushed at all even though I showed up in their last hour. Bonus: live music outside was a classy touch to top off my solo "treat yourself" night. Just what this girl needed.
Came here for lunch with my friend visiting from out of town. The vibes are fun with live music and we sat outside for the good weather. We both ordered some drinks, and while they were good, we both couldn't really tell if they had alcohol in them haha. I got the fish tacos, and those were pretty good too. The food came out fast and the service was good. Overall, a great spot for live music and good vibes with friends! read more

We came on a night where there was live music and it was pretty crowded in the outdoor patio space. There was limited seating inside, but due to the cold, we wanted to be seated inside. As a result, we ended up sitting at the bar. It wasn't exactly where we were hoping to sit, but the bartender was so great and fun and gave great recommendations. The food was very good, the portions were fair for the price, and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The people next to us ordered the bloody Mary and it looked amazing (had shrimp, hush puppies and other toppings). Next time we will absolutely try one. read more

Even on a Sunday afternoon, very crowded but table cycling meant only a 30 minute wait. Food and drinks on par for what you'd expect at the beach. Drinks average as well as food. I will say the peel 'n eat shrimp were very good. The butter/spice they were served in was delicious. Overall good experience for the beach area. Hype to reality scale 5-3. Side note: waitress was grouchy AF. Sunday's must not be her thing. read more
This place was a 10/10 for me! It was a nice day and a great day for seafood. They were having specials with crawfish and gator tail that are not normally on the menu. The service was great! Our waitress took great care of us! The food was very flavorful and delicious. When in Neptune Beach you should try Sliders!! read more
Love this place on a beautiful florida day! Amazing champagne bottle service all day Saturday and Sunday for $12!! So sip back hehe and enjoy the live music and fun atmosphere. The peel n eat shrimp are definitely my favorite and I never go without the shrimp dip! If your looking for something sweet be sure to try out their key lime pie.. yummy! They also have a great oyster bar located inside, see hostess for all table seating. read more

Came here fresh out the F45 class starving for greatness, but even more starving for a high protein meal. Upon sitting down at the bar and scanning the menu, I couldn't believe my eyes as an alcoholic beverage was only $8. I think I have PTSD from NYC pricing, as mocktails there are like $10 a pop now what a joke ahahahaa. We started with blackened shrimp nachos, and this shrimp was blessed by the hand of god. They should run a Masterclass on how to properly blacken shrimp. It was so good that I had to get a shrimp platter for my main along with a side of rice. I just worked out so I didn't want to throw all my hard work away, you feel me? I prob shouldnt mentioned how I got a drink, hush puppies, and fried pickles then....... But in fairness to me I had never had hush puppies or fried pickles, so it felt necessary to pop both those cherries when in the South. Idk if Jacksonville technically qualifies as the south, but it kinda feels like it to me so imma leave it. If I could have this shrimp platter everyday, I literally would. There was 10-12 good size, quality shrimp on this plate. I feel violated when I order a shrimp dish in LA or NY and there are only 4 mf shrimp on it... just straight up disrespectful, I'm so fed up with that. Sliders has become a weekly staple ever since the remodel. TBH we weren't really fans of this place previously but decided to give it another shot after the adorable makeover it had. We were certain that the new found adorable atmosphere would be the only improvement but boy were we wrong! The service and the food also seem to have made major improvements as well. What a wonderful little spot in downtown Neptune Beach! Delicious brunch and lunch/dinner available on the patio or inside. Note: the regular menu is not available during brunch hours. Some menu favorites: Fish sandwich (blackened or fried), fish platter, peel and eat shrimp (messy af but oh so good), chicken and waffles, ahi tuna salad. read more

Came with a group of ladies (7 total) to celebrate "Halfway to Christmas". We could not have picked a better place with the beach décor and groovy atmosphere. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating is cooler temperature-wise, but the outdoor area is a cooler atmosphere feel. Does that make sense? Our waitress and her team were kind. There was some confusion about a ticket at our table from the time of ordering. So, if you are unsure about a "special" concerning the cost, just be sure to ask what the price difference is (if any) if the waitress forgets or doesn't mention it. Mistakes happen...and fortunately, the manager solved it without delay. The day we went, Oysters were 12 for $12 steamed or raw...woot! My family and I have been here a few times and honestly, the seafood and oysters are the way to go...always good. The other options are good, but it's not what they specialize in. Ya know? I have two cons that are intertwined about this place which lowered my rating: 1. Even before the checks were paid...we weren't asked if we needed anything else...like a drink or water. Some ladies were asking for the checks, so I get it...then all of us got our checks by default...again, I get it. A few of us stayed for a bit talking and I figured someone would come back to see if we needed anything...nope. Our waitress wasn't in site either. We actually would have gotten another drink along with some water since we were talking. So Sliders Staff, even though checks are closed...it doesn't always mean consumers are done. Come back and check on us (the customer), especially since it was so hot. 2. They use the portable guilt-tipping machine, which I don't like at all. I tipped very well because I liked our waitress, her team and felt as though they'd continue to take care of me/us until we left...but service abruptly stopped when the checks & tips were paid. So ya think you can at least bring us a glass of water? Or ask if there is anything else after a few minutes if you see us still sitting there. There is no parking slated for the restaurant. All parking around the town center area is paid parking. But there is an app and it's not overly expensive. By paying with the app you can check on it and extend if needed--easy peasy. End Note: This is a wonderful place to hang out and grab some oysters and I know I'll be back at some point probably. I actually look forward to changing my star rating one day. I would have given a higher rating if my visit ended differently. I like it when service is from the beginning (upon entry) to the end (upon exit). You have a wonderful venue...but you can do better Sliders staff. I'm only one person with an opinion, but with that said, I've personally learned a lesson with the guilt-tipping machine here. I will bring cash next time to pay at the end if I feel as though we'll be hanging out since I know the service stops and is over once the bill is paid and the tip is given on the guilt check-out machine. read more

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon after a rain storm, so there was no wait for table, which was awesome. We ordered a dozen house oysters, half a dozen specialty oysters and blackened scallops. The food came out really quickly which was great, we also ordered drinks which didn't arrive until we got another servers' attention. That was the only lowlight of our experience. Other than that, food was super fresh and delicious, looking forward to giving sliders another try in the near future. read more
