Every time we come to Bristol,…read morewe have to have pizza as many times as we can because we live in the south now and everyone knows it is very rare to find a good pizza there. This is the first time we tried Gino's but I think we need to get it every time we come here. We had tossed salads that were very good. Then we had the Sicilian Pizza. Can I tell you that from the first bite I knew it was phenomenal! I could taste some salt on the bottom which made it go over the top. The crust was perfect, as well as the sauce. The cheese was the perfect amount as I don't like too much. I could have used more spinach but only because that is what I expect up here. Once, I ordered a pizza with spinach in the south and they put just one spinach leave on each slice!!! So, now that I think about it a little more, I think Gino's put on the perfect amount. The only bad thing is that we live so far away. Their Sicilian Pizza is perfect. Well done e Gino's!!

Bristol only has Greek pizza, which isnt bad, but when you're craving Italian, try Gino's! The owners are personable too. Very nice guys. I really wanted to like this place, I really did. However it seemed to fall short on many levels…read moreand I struggled with the 3-star rating because it really could have been better. I stopped in for a takeout lunch and grabbed four slices and a drink. Normally when I try a pizza place I go for the plain cheese slice first (b/c if you can't do that well I'm not interested in anything else) but they didn't have any available so I'll go slice by slice with this review. First up was the White Pizza, simple pie with Ricotta, Mozzarella and Parmigiano. This wasn't bad at all, but it wasn't very flavorful. Most places will use a garlic and herb base or something to give it some extra flavor but this was just ok. The Chicken-Bacon-Ranch was probably the best of the four I tried, though it was a little light on the toppings. If it had a bit more chicken and/or bacon I would have enjoyed it a lot more than I did but overall it was good, but could be much better. The Buffalo Chicken pizza was not what I am used to. I'm spoiled by the version that Hometown Pizza does where the chicken chunks are breaded and sauced and the finished pie is topped with bleu cheese dressing. This was a pizza with shredded chicken and hot sauce so, technically buffalo chicken but like the other slices, lacking on the toppings so hard to say it was anything other than just "OK". The Big Mac slice was really the biggest disappointment. First off, the Big Mac is a BURGER and there was hardly any burger on the pizza at all. Though there were some sesame seeds present there were none on the crust. The primary toppings here seem to be the 'sauce' and lettuce which tasted more like Russian dressing than "Big Mac" sauce. It's a nice enough place, cozy inside and the staff is friendly for the most part, I wouldn't mind sitting down for a nice lunch but, as many others have mentioned there are a LOT of good pizza places within a short distance so I'm not sure I'll be coming back anytime soon. I'm not sure why they're so light on the toppings but if your slice pies are that skimpy there's no way I'd order a whole pie. Barely three stars.

Wanted something easy to bring home. I read about the Big Mac pizza and I just had to try it. The girl that took my order was super nice and friendly. They had one slice left and it looked like it had been sitting there for a while but I was already committed. Decided to add a Caprese salad in place of more pizza. There are seats inside, but it seems like this is more of a take out kind of vibe so I ordered everything to go. The pizza: well that was disappointing. The ratio is all wrong - needs way more meat on it. Not a fan. The salad: not quite what I was expecting. It was big but not enjoyable. Ingredients didn't seem very fresh. With so many other great places to grab pizza from in Glastonbury (Angelo's, Giovanni's, etc) I would recommend going somewhere else if you're looking for a good pie!
