Ordered the $19.99 Special last night -- a large pizza w/ one topping, 10 chicken wings, and a 2 liter soda. Pizza was overdone, dough was tough. I thought the rest of the pizza was decent, although my wife disagreed (she wasn't a Fan). Wings had a crispy outer coating, but the flavor was lackluster. Bland. First and last time ordering pizza from Gino's. Delivery quoted a shorter eta I called to place my order at 7:55pm; food arrived exactly 8:55pm the driver was outside. Customer Service call - Lady was pleasant and patience with my order. Decided to try out this place again. Went for pickup. Ordered one pizza. I was told about 30 minutes. I arrived slightly after 30 minutes (maybe 35ish) pizza wasn't ready. No problem. While waiting I noticed the inside of the building seems very worn and unkept. After 20 minutes of waiting I asked if they knew how much longer it would be. The guy seemed very annoyed that I asked and said he didn't know but probably soon. I waited another 15-20 minutes (so now about an hour and 15minutes since placing the order) I again asked if there was an issue or anything and the guy got very upset with me. At this point I decided it wasn't worth waiting or trying the pizza again, I told him to cancel my order. Thank goodness I didn't pay yet. read more

Surprisingly impressed. Just being honest I was a liiittle weary cuz of the looks and location but had a recommendation to try two interesting pizzas. So i tried them, they were the spicy taco pizza and the baked ziti pizza which i added chicken to. Wow were they good. The crust was so impressively good and the whole baked ziti on a pizza thing? ... you gotta try it! Definitely worth it and where else do you find that. Don't know what happened here but since Don P. sold food has gone done hill. I keep trying with my favorite grinders in almost 40 years of this establishment they can't get it right, soggy...ask for extra peppers you get none. Great pizza at a great price. The owner had a place in N.Y. So he knows his slice. The cheese pie of hours is a great base so anything on top it's allowed to shine. Doesn't burn the slice so locals who like that flavor need look elsewhere. No indoor seating. Better to order pickup than delivery. Just be prepared that it is slightly in the hood. Parking in the back looks dicey and can be tight. read more

Just to add to my previous review. I liked Gino's so much I ordered from them again a couple days ago. This time I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, Garlic knots and Buffalo wings. The pizza was fantastic. Exactly what I would want out of a Buffalo chicken pizza. The wings are the main purpose of this update. They were AWESOME! They are your standard buffalo wing. Not saucy but crispy. Cooked perfectly. Better than a lot of other actual Wing places and hands down the best out of any pizza place. Literally my second favorite only getting topped by J Tim's. And for the price you can;t beat it. Another order which was on time. roughly about 50 mins. Slow for delivery? Maybe a little but they state that when you order. read more

Terrible!! My wife and i have ordered for Ginos about 5 times and every time we had to deal with their yelling, screaming, swearing and so most horrible rude and disrespectful attitudes ever!! Gino's has great food but terrible customer service. My and my husband ordered once online. I forgot to hit the pay with card option so I called them. A girl answered and said I had to call the company they use for online. No problem. Called them and they transfered me to the same girl at Gino's. She told me once again I need to call them. I explained they just transfered me to her and she hung up on me. I called back and she answered yet again, with an attitude. Then the owner was screaming and cursing in the background at her. Then proceeded to get on the phone with me yelling at me about how I have to call the online place. I explained the girl hung up on me and the whole predicament I was in. Ordered food, it came in about a hour. What i ordered and what i got were not even close. Called and talked to some kid who said "well what do you want to do?" I told him to send the correct food out and his response was "ok we will get that out for you, we will be taking the pizza back" They delivered a small cheese pizza by the way... Ordered a thin crust pie for delivery. It came within time specified, but not thin crust as ordered and my toppings were burned. Called to complain. "Manager" took over and basically called me stupid, "he's been making pizzas for 35 years". Yeah, so what? Your food was inferior. So, what's his solution? BRING BACK MY DELIVERY TO THE RESTAURANT and he will replace it. Kind of defeats the purpose of DELIVERY. I have ordered from Gino's 4 times already and will continue to do so. Their pizza tastes just like NYC pizza.. the buffalo chicken pizza and wings are my favorite. Worst wings I have ever seen. I ordered 15 wings and they were the smallest wings I have ever seen. They should be ashamed and embarrassed to serve wings like that. Recently ordered pizza delivery from Gino's for the first time. We got a white pizza (ricotta/mozzarella/garlic). It was excellent - good flavor, with a thin-ish crust. Delivery was fast, free, and friendly. Good service from both the person taking the order, and the delivery guy. If you like white pizza, they have THIRTY different specialty white pizzas on their menu. The pizza is not the cheapest in Bristol, but reasonably priced and definitely worth the price. read more

Since moving to Bristol from the NY/NJ area, i've tried every pizza place around, every time a new one opens i check it out. Nobody's pizza came close to the pizza i grew up eating. So when Gino's first opened I tried them out, expecting so so pizza, and what i got was extremely tasty NY style pizza. It's the closest you're going to get to NY pizza in the area.
