I enjoy this place! The menu is simple and yet has a great variety of toppings. I would like to try the Burrata and Hot Honey pie next time. Getting a slice is convenient, and the slice comes to you hot with ranch dressing. Drinks are sold by the can or bottle. Always such a pleasure to stop by here for a slice! read more

Nailed it. I usually go to another spot beyond the mountains because I'm from there, but man do these guys make a fine pizza. Nice undercarriage, good flop, not oily at all. Everyone was friendly. I ordered the pepperoni pizza I was such in a mood for like a New York vibe pizza, thin crispy, and it hit the spot. The pizza was crispy. I had so much flavor and it wasn't overwhelmed with sauce 9/10. The pizza was delicious. The wings are good. I definitely am not into a breaded wing, but for being breaded it was actually quite light as well as still crispy. The only thing I would say is don't get the salad. I paid five bucks for a tiny Caesar salad and it just wasn't worth it. But like I say, give it a try then you decide. read more

I had a Meathead pizza and it was very good. First thing I noticed was the savory homemade sauce and quality meats. That's what makes this place better than some others. Only complaint is that the crust was soft and droopy and not very crisp, and they were out of mushrooms. But I really enjoyed striking up a conversation with owner Kyle and the 3 other staffers that were working that night, they're really friendly. I started telling them about my recent visit to New York City and the pizza restaurants I tried there like Bleeker Street and L'industrie. Right away they told me they had just gone there as a group to try italian restaurants for themselves! They told me their favorite one that I should try, I think it was Mimi's. Service was GREAT and pizza is AMAZING! They were out of the meat slices when went and only had cheese slices but the cashier instantly offered to add any pepperoni or other toppings to the cheese slice. I loved that he offered an immediate solution since I wanted a pizza that had more than just cheese. I'm my husband and I were blown away by the quality. Just had our first encounter at Slice Godz. It was absolutely just like New York pizza. Yummy, dripping with goodness, real pepperoni and super delicious cheese. You need to fold your slice, this is why it is thin crust. It has a somewhat sourdough flavor and is a little chewy. We tried the pepperoni and the cheese slices. Real pepperoni is salty and has lots of fat in it and that is what it should be. It is a sausage type meat. We ate in and love the restaurant with big tvs, loud sound and nostalgic decor. Very comfortable and cool. Try it, think NY and not Cali!! The chicken wings were great, mostly flats which is what I love. Bbq was tasty but not spicy. Yum, we will be back. read more

First time visiting last night 9/27, and it looks pretty cool inside, has a 90's feel to me and decorated nicely. I was greeted but wasn't asked if it was my first time or needed anything explained (which if you have read any of my reviews before you know I really appreciate when a place not only greets their customers but seems happy to actually and explain the menu) sorry for the long winded sentence lol. The menu however is pretty limited and right above the register so not that big of a deal on this occasion. We ordered a half and half pizza and this is where I got a little irritated, because after I had paid for the pizza the cashier tells me it will be about 30-35 minute wait because they are busy...why wouldn't you tell me that before I placed the order?? I would also mention it was not that busy inside only about 4 other customers (so maybe to go/online orders) but still c'mon, anywho I had no choice so we waited...ended up being about 45 minute wait by the time we got our one pizza. The pizza was nice and hot (which it should be!) but for the cost and wait time it was not worth it to me. To add salt to the wound so to speak another pair of guys came in and had ordered a few pizza and got there about 20 minutes after us and one of the workers offered them free drinks becuase of the wait time. We weren't offered freed drinks or a discount or anything for how long we waited...just a simple "thanks for being patient, we were really busy tonight" I'm not that mad it it I know how it can go but man you offer other free drinks but not to us? And we waited longer. Only reason I didn't give less stars is because the worker at least said sorry about the wait time. I really wanted to like the place but not a good first impression for me. I may give it another shot but not any time soon. Update- SGP responded (I'm assuming the owner) which I appreciate that they actually take time to read reviews! Thank you, I really appreciate the offer and may take you up on that someday...that's if I'm in the area and SGP remembers lol. This pizza place is underestimated. I've been here a few times and have never been disappointed. The ambiance is great, the staff is great, and it's just a welcoming vibe when you walk in. The pizza dough crust is so light and airy but also has just a touch of crunchy goodness. It isn't weighed down in grease from the cheese and pepperoni. I've only had the pepperoni pizza but you know what they say, "if ain't broke, don't fix it" so I keep coming back for more. I ordered the hot burrata slice it had pepperoni, basil, a block of the burrata cheese (which in my opinion wasn't that good it was too thick and cold) also drizzled honey over the slice which made the pizza sweet. The honey on the pizza made it too sweet so I spiced it up with pepper flakes and it evened out perfectly, but I wouldn't order it again unfortunately. Ambiance: The inside of the establishment looks inviting. When you screw up an order that your customer was quoted 20 mins for, you should probably tell the customer so they can decide if they have the time to stay. Instead we waited 40 mins, WE had to ask what's up and they said it'd be 10 more mins. So we waited. Then they told us they burnt the second one. So now we waited an hour sitting in a restaurant with music blasting too loud and left without eating & still have a 2.5 hour drive home. Quick service, good lunch special. I got the single slice, salad and drink. Drink options are limited. Slice was a good size and tasty. Crispy crust, good sauce and cheese. This place had a huge tv with cartoons playing which kept them entertained. Autistic kids only like to eat what they like - therefore I brought in outside food for them and the slice godz staff had noooo issues! They even gave me a lil bbq sauce for them. Even when my kids had a few loud outbursts they didn't stare or act funny. This place is an escape from society and the norm. Now the food: if you are tired of that overCOOKED overHYPE Dirty Wingstop with poor customer service - COOOOME HERE! I had their wings last Friday and it's Sunday and I'm craving them. They are fat, juicy, and lightly sauced which I didn't think I would like but it's genius! Hardly no mess and you still get the buffalo sauce essence. I recommend the company try other sauces because the cook on their chicken is ridiculously PERFECT! I cannot unsee this place being a chicken wing GIANT here in the high desert. I gave 4 stars because I like my pizza more sauce forward with a hint of sweetness in the sauce but that's my preference. I literally like to taste my sauce however my husband really enjoyed his slices. Also keep in mind that I'm judging off individual slices NOT an entire pizza.
