My husband and I love this little hole in the wall Italian restaurant. Service has always been fantastic. We love most dishes some more than others of course. Last night we had the clam chowder (which is 5 stars imo) shrimp primavera and cheese raviolis. We both loved the clam chowder thick creamy yummy. The primavera was good not great, hubby loved the raviolis. My favorite so far though is the eggplant Parmesan and baked ziti. I do wish they would change up their appetizers none of them are particularly wow. Over all I would say this is definitely worth a try love local small restaurants. Eggplant Parmesan is disappointing. It has just two super thin slices of eggplant with a few lasagna noodles and lots of mozzarella cheese. I'm used to eating healthy everyday and this is supposed to be a vegetable based dish so I just left it and didn't finish. It comes with spaghetti. Friday, we went to the last Over the Hill Gang's cruise night at Charlie's Cheesesteaks. Linda won a $25 gift certificate to The Italian Kitchen in Hesperia. We had no dinner plans on Saturday, so we decided to go. All we got was the pizza, but it was the best pizza we have had in the Hi Desert. It's a small place and cash only, but it was FANTASTIC!! Super friendly people and great service. The other dishes we saw looked tasty and were large portions too. We will go again soon. If you like good, authentic Italian food, give them a try. Our very first time visiting was yesterday for dinner after 23 years of living just about 3 miles of it. So happy and loved my Stuffed Eggplant dish. I'm finishing left overs right now and just as yummy. Just kinda sad we've never gone before. Better late then never. Definitely a good hole in the wall for dinner date. this restaurant is absolutely amazing. and our waitress rachel is the best!!!! their clam chowder is sooooo delicious lots of clams and creamy. their mixed salad dressing is also amazing. i ordered the chicken parmesan and it was delicious sooooo much food. enough for several days. my husband ordered the lasagna. sooooooo delicious and an extremely generous portion. this restaurant always amazes. everything is just sooooo delicious. i wish we lived closer or they would open this restaurant near us. hopefully we can go more often thankfully the traffic was not too crowded. you must try this restaurant it needs to be put on your favorite list. remember its closed on mondays. read more

So I've been working in the area for 2 months, looking for good spots to eat at. The 1st time I visited the area was a few weeks ago with a friend from Phelan. We ordered clam chowder, the sautéed mushrooms and a large pizza. I'd like to write this place a good review, but I won't be giving my honest opinion if I gave it 5 stars. I came back a 2nd time just to verify my experience before I decided to write this review. 1st time the clam chowder was watery, mushrooms were literally tossed into the pan, skin, dirt and all. They weren't even washed,.. nasty. The pizza sub par at best. 2nd visit the chicken parmesan was meh. At least it was a real chicken brest covered in cheese, but the spaghetti and vegetarian marinara I ordered were just fine, nothing special. Presentation looked like it was a home cooked meal just thrown onto the plate. Garlic bread not fresh either. I know times are hard and I love supporting mom and pops, but I think a little more hygiene needs to be observed ( Tabasco bottle & Mushrooms), and possibly more effort into the presentation. Both times the waitresses were good, no complaints there and I know this isn't Hollywood or LA, but for $20+/meal I expect a little more on the hygiene and presentation. P.S. I think this is a regular spot for the locals, but that's no excuse. I found a better spot in the area called Brooklyn Italian Bakery ( Victorville). Food there is tastier, presentation is better and so is the Hygiene. read more

Can I do 10 stars? This place is a hidden gem! The food is to die for, best Ive ever had! Service was also amazing, our server was so kind with us and explained everything so well for us, she warned us portions were big, we didnt listen and oh my goodness they were huge!!!! I ate maybe a 1/4 of it, took it home and ate 2 more times. Take a look at all pics crom dine in and the leftovers I took home. Salad lookeds very simple, but dont be fooled, they have the tastiest ranch of all! So so good! Bread was also a favorite, we just couldnt eat it because of how full we were! Kids portions are adult portions, I am not kidding. Kids portions is what you get for adult portion at any other restaurant. Very good pricing also! The only thing I wish was different is that they only accept cash, but they have an ATM inside to withdraw cash! I highly reccomend this place. This is now our favorite place in the high desert!
