Their own agreement says they will complete claims forms and bill insurance!
    WstCst C.

Update 8/31: it's great that That The SleepQuest Team commented and recognize this wasn't explained well; however their "policy" still doesn't make sense and is contradicted by their own terms. Insurance is an agreement between me and my insurance provider (as they make clear in their terms) which means that they can not determine coverage - only my insurance provider can, which is why their own document says you will (it does not say we will file for items we think will be covered, or we will only file for FDA approved devices, which while linked to insurance coverage is not a sole determining factor). They didn't do that and when I provided them with the Explanation of Benefits that demonstrate not coverage they refused to honor the their agreed upon in-network negotiated rate. --------------------/// I went in to receive a CPAP machine that was prescribed by my doctor. We discussed machines and they told me that my machine DreamstationGo was not covered by my insurance so I would have to purchase it in full. That did not make sense as I had checked with my insurance in advance and all of the 4 machines I was interested in were covered. I thought perhaps they were saying this because I hadn't met my deductible and asked if they could please bill my insurance as even if I have to pay for it it would go towards my deductible. I was told "it is our policy to not bill insurance for things they don't cover." I explained that I was pretty sure my insurance did cover it as I had spoken to them and they said, no your insurance won't cover a "travel machines" this is a self-pay item. I went ahead and paid for it figuring I would self-file with my insurance. I did and not surprising- my insurance covers the device!!! They cover it at a negotiated rate (as with all the machines). My insurance told me I should be able to call them and get the difference (except for my portion of the copayment) refunded. Then why doesn't SleepQuest file with insurance you may wonder? The only thing I can gather is because insurance has the machines at a negotiated rate and they don't want to honor that rate. When I called the billing department I was told "it doesn't matter if your insurance covers it or not, we consider travel machines self-pay items and so you are billed the full price. My issue with that response: 1) this is not what I was told - I was told "my insurance doesn't cover this machine" which is not true and was a flat out lie. Had they been honest that my insurance covered this but they won't bill insurance because they don't want to sell the item at their contracted rate I could have decided if I still wanted to get the machine and pay for it all myself, if I wanted to go elsewhere, or if I wanted to choose a different machine; 2) the reason you go to in-network providers is that they are part of a contracted network and have agreed to the terms of that network - terms like negotiated rates, so for them to randomly decide specific products and services they will and won't accept insurance for is not only misleading it goes against their own financial terms and disclaimers outlined in the paperwork they give you and you sign! They charged me $850, the contracted rate was $520.50. (Part of that to be covered by insurance and part my responsibility). They have overcharged and refuse to refund the $329.50. Rather silly as they would have made several times over that for the replacement and maintenance items, which I will now be purchasing elsewhere. In short, I'm disgusted by their deceptive and misleading - if not outright fraudulent -practices!!! This is the type of behavior that gives the healthcare industry a bad name!

A top of the line brand new CPAP! Whisper quiet. Slick. Modern. Built in cell phone. No Wi-Fi. No Bluetooth. Slick!

Our 3-year-old son's bedtime drama was causing us to be very overtired (ever since he graduated from a crib to a bed around age 2), and we got practical, insightful, and compassionate advice that so far is working well for him and for us. We were referred to Symbio by my sister-in-law and a pediatrician / mom at my son's preschool, both who've had success with the sleep consultations for their own kids. I'd recommend this to any parent who is struggling with sleep issues for their kids - and do it sooner than we did. Symbio offers counseling and classes by two specialists in infant and toddler mental health with backgrounds in child development and family psychology.

I had read all the sleep books, trust me, and I was at my wits end about how to help my son, who…read morewas 18 months at the time, to sleep through the night. The books made it sound so easy and I felt foolish for not being able to coax him into a full nights sleep. At the time we contacted Noelle, my son was waking in the night at 3 am, and staying up sometimes as long as 3 hours before going back to sleep. It seemed like no matter what we did, at 3 am, he was up and ready to play. \I met Noelle in her office and my husband called us and she interviewed us on what the current situation was and what we wanted to achieve. I really appreciated how well she was really listening to me. I told her I wasn't comfortable with the "Cry it Out" philosophy and was hoping she'd have some ideas. She took everything we said into account and came up with a plan, well more specifically for us what our next step would be. We implemented that step and then called her for the next step and so on until we got the final result. I'll add that our son was climbing out of his crib at 16 months so we had to figure out a plan with him not being in a crib, but rather just being in his room for bedtime. I imagine she might work differently with each family, but for me, I needed the step at a time approach. It was so valuable to me to have someone to speak to about each step and to have her support throughout the process. Our son is pretty strong willed, and me, not so much, but sure enough, with her guidance and some patience we have gotten to the point where James is sleeping through the night on his own. So in summary - if the books aren't working and you're at your wits end, consider getting some help. Noelle was so caring and compassionate and helped us get to where we are today, with full nights of sleep, glorious sleep!

She rescued us from several months of severe sleep deprivation. I was hesitant to do sleep training, but she created an approach that worked for us. She has an extremely intuitive sense of what different babies need and she tweaked our approach (how we went in to soothe, and how often) as we went, based on my baby's reaction. She also gave us a very clear plan and next steps to take on our own. By the second night, my baby slept soundly and only woke up once. Also: Before we did the sleep training, she supported us as a night doula while my son was going through some GI challenges. I thought he would react negatively to a night doula at his age and with his tummy issues, but he was completely calm and soothed by Margo's presence. She also helped me up my milk supply. She was with our newborn right after we were discharged from the hospital, extremely caring and tender, super helpful to me as a first-time mom, and taught us everything about the baby, so we were confident that we had it covered. Her help was integral in upping my milk supply; she would help me with breast massages at night pumps, create schedules and suggestions on how to further increase it, and, needless to say, I developed an incredible milk supply that could feed two (!) babies (no joke, as my milk stash is huge). When we hit the four-month regression, we came back to her for advice on sleep training. She guided us through daytime schedule changes, and our baby started sleeping and increasing sleep time right away. She definitely knows what she is doing, and I highly recommend her services to all, especially first-time parents. Thank you, Margo, for your care with our baby, Winston!

Beware of online myofunctional therapy info - as it isn't individualized!…read more I am so happy to know about Myofunctional Therapy with Carly. I have sleep apnea and I have learned how important it is to have an actual skilled therapist, with many years of experience, in this fairly new and upcoming therapy. Before seeing Carly, I had diligently been doing exercises with a snoring app. As I was doing them I was constantly wondering if I was doing them correctly. I decided to try a myofascial therapist and found Carly and I am so glad that I did. I have learned that some exercises on the app that I was doing actually were not appropriate for my level and others I was just not doing correctly. She does a complete initial face, mouth, tongue and throat assessment to figure out what muscles are not working and then customizes the exercises accordingly. There is time in each session with her to see my progress, to make sure I am performing the exercises correctly and then to add in new ones as I progress. I feel I have a mapped out plan now with an expert guiding my way and that gives me peace of mind and hope that I will be able to not only improve my sleep apnea but likely my health in general. She has a special ability to give you verbal cues to help you understand the goal of the exercise as well as a warm nurturing way to get you to relax while trying it. Along with being a delight to work with, Carly is considered a "Master" in her field and sees patients virtually and in-person with grand results. She gives individualized homework and personalized therapy exercises - something you will never get from an online search. Her experience and education sets her way ahead of many other practitioners, that seem to have only taken a weekend course. Apparently, she holds a 2-year Board Certification and had an additional 2-year course study in the Cranial Nerves. She is the only OMT I could find that has worked in a sleep apnea clinic and she was there for over five years.
