Staff greeted me with a smile. Gave us a few options to where we would like to park. Gave a Veterans discount, which always helps. Nice fenced dog park. Very clean grounds. Showers/bathrooms were clean & lots of hot water. This place is as you are leaving town, high up on ridge line over looking the town. Views were very nice of the area. They have a laundry & propane available on site. Tent camping is welcomed. If you don't have an RV or tent try one of their cabins. we will stop in again if traveling the area. read more

We always stay at this campground our son lives in lander I booked a stay on Wednesday leaving for lander Friday our truck broke driving there from Casper I called right away to cancel looked at my bank statement and they only gave me back half she said i had to cancel 3 days in advance how is that possible when I booked it two days prior won't be going back there read more

Spent one night on way home. It was 100 and the splash pad was refreshing. The manager was very helpful . Great place for a night.

My wife and I stayed at the Sleeping Bear RV park in Lander, WY, for two days during our 3-week camping trip from Florida to Yellowstone and back. We stayed at 9 different parks and this park was the best of the bunch. Not only were the facilities outstanding, the folks working there were super nice and easy very flexible with our stay. 5 stars!!! read more

A little pricey. They charge $5 for a dog. But, they gave us space 10 which had a nice green lawn back yard. My lab went swimming in the canal that runs by. The have three washer and dryers but ask that you only use 1 at a time so other guests can use the others, no pods. Clean, up on a hill a little out of town, pretty quiet. read more

Not a bad place at all. Clean park, friendly staff. A trail to town to walk if you want. Only complaint- if you're backing up to the hill, the rv spots are really close together and the hookups are kind of "off"- our neighbors sewer dump was right beside our door! Wow --- I was so very impressed with this place -- we had been camping. and came to Lander for the day and found this place had showers. Very friendly staff, and clean nice and roomy bathrooms/showers. We rested for a few moments there bought some firewood and were on our way. We will come back here ! read more

Great park, great location in Lander, and great hosts/owners. Stayed here for 5 days and had no complaints at all. Water park/splash pad is great for the kids and the kids at heart. Lots of trees for shade and a few view sites that offer great sunset views. Park owners have been running the park for over 16 years, and it shows. Park is kept clean and updated. Customer service is outstanding and the nightly camp fires are family friendly. Free WIFI! They also have a RentAWreck car rental service here if you need it. Bathrooms and showers are the cleanest I have ever seen in any RV park. They also offer cabin rentals too! If you need a place to stay, it's worth checking out. read more

This was a great little campground to stop at on our way to Yellowstone. We easily made reservations on their website while on the road. I must say that their showers are the cleanest we have seen on the road! We were having some vehicle problems and they allowed us to extend several hours at no additional cost. They were very pleasant and accommodating. I highly recommend this RV park! read more

We arrived late in the day and the staff was very friendly. Bathrooms and showers were extremely clean and large. You get to shower in your own bathroom which is rare in RV parks. We ate supper at the Pizza Hut across the street. read more

Great RV Park. They have a water park, a water park! My kids went nuts, what a perfect ending to an 8 hour day in the car. Nice touch is the gathering place, around a bonfire. We didn't join in but what a great way for folks to meet each other while traveling. Nice playground for the kids. The spaces have plenty of room, lots of trees and you are near Lander but perched above town so the views are endless. Hosts are so friendly, restrooms very clean. I read a previous review about the turn into the park being tight but I bet the owners have expanded it because we had no problem turning off the highway pulling a 30 foot tow-behind camper. Nice park. Spaces are a bit tight traversing in/out, especially with all the new trees in growth. My only huge complaint, the owner w/o notice doubled her nightly rate Sat, Sun and Monday during the eciplis, even though over the last year I called (often) to secure our reservation. It's called ethics and she should have relayed her change of mind prior to our arrival. That's called integrity. read more

Best RV park we came across on our trip through Wyoming and Colorado. Very clean, very quiet. Upon check-in, we were given free brochures with information on the area, which was useful during the rest of our trip. They have a small shop that offers nice souvenirs as well as a range of items to cover your basic needs. Unfortunately, the splash pad was not in use (still too cold at the beginning of June, I guess), but what really won us over were the bathrooms. Real private, spacious, spotless bathrooms, with clean showers, clean toilets, clean sinks and clean floors. There is even a family bathroom with two shower stalls where two people (parent and kid(s)) can shower at the same time. From our RV site, we could look down into the valley and enjoy the morning sun at the picnic table during breakfast. It is a short walk to town, so no need to take the car if you want to go out for dinner or buy some groceries. read more
