We had passed Twin Pines while traveling so we went back to see if they had availability. The office was closed so we decided to take an empty site for the night. In the morning the campground manager and owner were amazing. Super friendly and accommodating. She even gave us some breakfast, a fridge magnet and a sticker. Such great people. There were a number of items for sale in the office - some beautiful quilts caught my eye, and the husband and wife team who run the place are so helpful and friendly. We needed a mobile rv repairman while we were there and they helped us find a great one. We had to extend our stay because the part we needed was delayed and they worked to let us stay in our original site. The sites are roomy, the hookups are conveniently located and in good working order, and the park is neat as a pin. The sites are all graveled and they were working on some lovely landscaping during our stay. When we arrived we were loaned a booklet with amazing day trips we could enjoy during our stay. What a great idea! It is obvious that the owners care about their guests as well as their park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting for a longer time next year. During our most recent trip Tristan approached our group with a very hostile demeanor. I am concerned regarding how the situation was handled. Our party was accused of a situation that that allegedly resulted in other guests needing to be refunded. However, this was not an accurate representation of what occurred. We feel that our group was unfairly blamed for circumstances that were not caused by us. Rather than taking the time to establish the facts and determine what actually occurred we were met by hostility and anything we said back was not acknowledged, he threatened to "ban" our group from the property. The way this situation was handled was not professional at all. From a business owner to a business owner, I would want to know why my business will be missing out on potential business in the future.
