Their breakfast burritos were the best thing we've eaten the whole time we've been in Jackson Hole.

Obo's Market & Deli - The Wrangler Sandwich

    Obo's Market & Deli

UPDATE: This review is for the BIG PINEY location…read more This was our chosen gas stop en route up to the Tetons area. We were pleasantly impressed with the market and deli. What a sweet shop for the locals and the travelers. It has a country store vibe. The ladies were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed sitting outside to eat the pizza we purchased. And we look forward to eating the cheesecake later. The gas was the best priced around which was a bonus. The only drawback was that the internet was down so it was cash only. Fortunately we had some to make our purchases.

After driving a good 6 hours home to Colorado from Idaho, my husband and I found our tummies…read moregrumbling. Both craving a sandwich, we settled on Obo's (because Subway sucks) and were pleasantly surprised with our experience - here's why! ++ Obo's is both a meat market, deli and store all in one - offering everything your heart could desire. Fresh cuts of locally sourced steak? All yours! All the deli meat you could want? Come on over! The store offers a variety of artisan crafts, local trinkets and groceries too! Because were there for lunch, we opted for house made sandwiches in the deli. ++ The sandwich menu - although small - is awesome, with the option to build your own sandwich too. I settled on the Italian which was piled high with allllll the meats, cheese, hot peppers and drizzled with balsamic dressing on a massive house made bun, while my husband settled on the traditional ham sammie which was just as delicious! I was far too hungry to take a picture of mine, so a picture of my husbands will suffice! ++ Although more expensive, you get what you pay for. The quality of meat supersedes everything in the area, as they freshly cut the meat on the spot for each sandwich. YUM! +/- The service in the deli was pretty harsh. Although the women behind the counter were busy and made their way through the line of customers, they were NOT friendly. The woman who greeted us just starred our way and then said "what do you want!" with a frown on her face. We quickly ordered and got out of the way, which proved to be a good decision. Having worked in the service industry, I get being in the weeds, but being nice goes along way. - No one, I repeat, no staff members in the deli were wearing masks or abiding by any social distancing. Even most guests who were waiting in line to pay weren't wearing masks, which is bonkers to me. Only the cashiers wore masks and one made a polite comment to my husband and me as we were the only customers rocking them. Yikes! Despite the lack of COVID measures, I'd return for another bomb to-go sandwich at Obo's.

I stayed at Rim Station in their RV area for 10 days and it wasn't long enough…read more I highly recommend it here for many reasons.... 1) The location is superb!! you are 30 Min from Pinedale and Hoback and under an hour from Jackson. At night it is dead silent and pitch black and amazing!! 2) There are so many amazing places nearby to be outdoors. Whatever you enjoy....hiking/backpacking, fishing, kayaking, off-roading, horse riding and more. 3) The store (what i think would be called a mercantile) itself of Rim Station has some amazing local items. Local beer, wine and spirits, locally produced clothing, jam and other foods and misc goods. They are such and amazing supporter of local businesses. 4) From an RV perspective, the sites are level, the water is clean and if your up for staying in western Wyoming in the winter they are open year round. its nice with only 12 sites it stays nice and quiet. 5) They have occasional awesome events here. While i was here they had a night of sprit taste testing, live music and amazing home made chips and salsa. It was such an amazing evening meeting with a few fellow RVr's, Local citizens, people passing through and the staff. 6) And the most important part, the staff here!!! I cannot stress enough how amazing the team that manage the facility, grounds and store are!! Every single one of them are absolutely amazing, so personal and so in love with this beautiful area they live and work in. Of everything that make this place special they are the heart of it all! This is not the staff from years past!! so if you were here pre 2019 (i think that is around the time they took over) please, please, please come back and you will be amazed at the transformation here. I want to keep this place a secret because i want to come back here and have a place to stay but i know it won't stay on the DL for long...i will absolutely be back and i highly recommend staying here!!
