Dede was beyond sweet and packed me a to-go breakfast satchel since I was leaving so early in the morning. Everything was so clean and comfy! I had my dog with me too, and Dede was really sweet to her. There is even a fenced in yard so I could let my dog run around. Two thumbs up!!

Luckily we found a great breakfast spot nearby. Shame, beautiful place ("Master bedroom" had a sitting area and large private bath - and short walk to nice restaurants), and would be a great lodge ... missing what we expected from a B&B - local interaction and breakfast.

But it's a really virtuoso performance, and while her clientele may be select, they are immensely appreciative of the red-carpet welcome she offers. And if the red carpet isn't enough, ask for the USGS map of Louise Lake and the walking guide to the petroglyphs. Your tired feet will thank you, in the sauna, afterward.

Bill specializes in providing lodging and breakfast for bikers, hikers and motorcyclists participating in the CDT. Bill and Carmella went above and beyond to welcome us and make sure we had a great stay to continue on the trail. It's rare to find such genuine good hosts and they were that and more! They helped with all our questions and even welcomed us with lemonade and cookies! We would recommend staying here for any CDT participants.

With that being said, we were more than satisfied with our stay here. It is a most unique and inviting lodge. While the room not exceptionally large, it was roomy enough with plenty of space in bath and dressing area. Our window looked out over the rushing creek/river(?) behind the lodge. They have a large swing right at the river which was wonderful. They also had a large fire pit area to enjoy, and we did! A wonderful light breakfast is offered in the lovely common area. It was really nice. We would stay there again. We stayed in the new building, which I think they call Broadway. Breakfast is not included. They charge $20/per person which I first through was high until I got used to the town. Jackson is very expensive. Other than getting a breakfast burrito to go from D.O.G. (which is awesome, by the way) you will find $20 to be on par, or cheaper, than any other breakfast you can get in town. Plus, this one is cooked to order and served in the relaxed atmosphere of the Inn. If you need breakfast included there is one other hotel in town in the same price range that offers a buffet, but having stayed at Huff House, Since breakfast may be a sticking point for some, it shouldn't be. Here's why; there are a lot of food options in town. We stayed at Huff House for 4 nights. Had breakfast there once. It was superb. No complaints, but it was also nice to try some of the other places right next door (Cafe Genevieve, Persophone, and D.O.G.). I think you will like the variety PLUS you have a fridge and microwave in your room so you may just have leftovers from last night's dinner you'll want to heat up instead. Options! I wouldn't stay anywhere else. It's great.

The family who run it have been in the industry for 40 years and are passionate about every aspect of the Inn. The feeling when you enter the lobby and dining area is so welcoming and charming! We stayed in the Harlequin room which the owner told us that Cosmopolitan magazine declared in 2005 that the view from the balcony was the most romantic in the nation. I'd have to agree. We sat out there every night with a glass of wine. The trees rustled slightly in the soft wind, birds chirped happily and the soothing sound of the creek makes for a very enchanting place. Add the incredible view and you don't want to leave. The room was very large, nicely decorated with every amenitie we could ever think of. The owners are remodeling the rooms, so it could be even nicer when you book. The outside of the Inn is so charming and inviting. Even though they are old, they are Quaint, decorated nicely, and kept up well. It was super clean, everything worked perfect, we even had three chairs to sit on on our front porch.
