Road conditions were staring to go downhill as the sun was setting, and snow was starting to fall…read more So, after driving 584 miles today, what a welcomed find this motel was. The exterior of stone and logs seemed to fit this area perfectly, especially with everything covered in snow. Entered a very nice lobby, was greeted with a smiling face and the news that they had a room available. And, only $55+ Tax, made me even happier. Inside the room one of the most comfortable beds ever, pillows too. The only thing that I can think of which is comparable, was a $300+ per night hotel in New York. While it is unlikely I'll ever be in this area again I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Kinda hate to leave but I'm hoping the next hotel in Jackson, Wyoming is just as comfortable. Also, * Shower- excellent * TV - many channels * Fridge, micro and coffee maker * Cool log desk with a very comfortable office chair * Baseboard heating which kept things quiet toasty with the outside temp at 9° * Wi-Fi - great If you stay here hope you have the same experience.

The way this place is configured, you have neighbors on each side and one behind you. So, at 10 pm, we had a loud tv, loud talkers and music. Loud tv stopped at 1 pm. It's 2 pm and it's been a party of loud talkers getting louder. I guess they're getting drunker and drunker. I've been thinking for 4 hours that they're gonna go to bed soon, right? (Idk say something to the front desk, but they don't have someone after 10 pm.) Would be nice if there were hooks on the wall so one could hang their jacket or purse. There is an awful smell in the closet...dogs poo'ing or peeing in there? Was told our room was 118. Ok. Then couldn't find our room. Would be nice if desk person told people who are staying on the backside of the motel they're on the back side. Wore shower shoes in the shower. There is just a shower stall, which I'm generally ok with, but wanted to wash my hair and (weigh 135#) and even I had to be careful and maneuver to NOT touch anything (see ...shower shoes). Great DT location.

I fell in love with Gannett Peak the minute I turned into the drive. Cute little yellow doors, accent chairs out front. Easy in and out parking. if you're lucky, you'll get to work with Brittany. She is so efficient, and she goes the extra mile when your husband messes up the reservation lol! Yes, the rooms are small but they are really lovely and you aren't going to spend all your time in a room in that gorgeous location are you????

Easy and safe parking, nice neighborhood, close to dining and shopping. The room was very clean and nicely appointed. Looking forward to our next visit!

Luckily we found a great breakfast spot nearby. Shame, beautiful place ("Master bedroom" had a sitting area and large private bath - and short walk to nice restaurants), and would be a great lodge ... missing what we expected from a B&B - local interaction and breakfast.

We had two fans going parentheses (we borrowed one from them.) I think the room had one queen bed and one double bed. My wife and I chose the bed farthest from the window and my son took the bed closest to the window. We were literally touching each other which makes me believe it was a double bed. I ended up, pulling the sleeper sofa out and sleeping on it which felt like sleeping on my bed of jagged rocks. It did not get cool until around 3:00 AM. With the windows open and the blinds up, there was noise pollution as well as light pollution. Also there were three people in the room and only two towels. It was a miserable night.

Our gracious innkeeper, Emi, welcomed us in, got us into a room for the night, and offered up all of her maps and guidebooks, as well as her expertise. We took everything and headed over to the laundromat to regroup. She signed off on our new proposed route and wished us well. We were also greeted by the motel dog, Bird, who's an animated critter who goes wherever Emi goes. We had another yummy dinner at the Wind River Brewing Company (which I've also reviewed), and a relaxing evening in our room, which was really two rooms, a living/dining, and bedroom. The front room has a kitchenette as well, but there's really no comfortable way to do any TV watching (a big novelty I enjoy in motels as there is no TV at home) and I think I ended up sitting at the dining table watching it or something else odd. It would also be really cool to see an update to flat screens. The decor is rustic and cute, and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is served between 8 and 9, and it's delicious, homemade, and substantial. The creek runs out back, there's plenty of parking, and if you are a hiker or a climber in particular, this is the only place to stay in Pinedale.

From calling the location to setup a reservation to checkout was a positive experience. The owner is top notch, so friendly and easy to accommodate our late arrival. The room was standard with 2 queen beds. Beds were the older type but all 3 of us slept well and did not have any aching backs in the morning, win. Carpet was outdated but clean and I did not notice any stains. Bathroom was very clean and bath was spotless. My only complaint is there was plenty of soap but no shampoo.
