We don't have enough space here to write why this place is so amazing. Actually, we contemplated taking it easy when writing this review because we wanted to be selfish and keep The Rim Station our special secret! From day one, we were treated like family which makes leaving them very bittersweet. We actually had cancelled 2 other reservations in order to extend our stay here because we loved it so much. This place is beautiful, quiet, and fun. The folks who own The Rim Station are so genuine and go above and beyond with everything they do. You won't meet nicer people. It is about an hour ride through the National Forest to Jackson Hole and the views never get old. Do yourself a favor and skip all of the Jackson Hole madness and reserve a spot here instead. You'll also get to experience downtown Pinedale which is a blast, too. From horseback riding and seeing wildlife outside your window to amazing sunsets almost every night, this place will not disappoint one bit! The stars are even brighter than the ones we saw while boondocking in Joshua Tree. Can't wait to come back here after our trip to Montana! Thank you for the best 6 weeks.

We loved this campground! We stayed 6 nights and would have stayed longer if our schedule permitted. We had an amazing view and the campground itself was very quiet with plenty of room between sites. The owner and staff were all accommodating throughout our stay. My only suggestion would be to add picnic tables at each site and maybe a fire pit.

Pay to pee?! What?! Avoid stopping here at all cost. They charge you money to use the restrooms. And they're super rude to veterans. Don't give them any money.

View from our site. So quiet here you can hear every bird, frog and bug.

We had our grandson with us and Brent took us on his ATV to see his horses, which my grandson loved.

AMAZING!!!! This has to be one of the best campgrounds…read moreI've ever seen. Beautiful campsites, beautiful location, the showers are very clean and are individual rooms which include a sink and toilet. They're even have nice light wood plank paneling. The campground includes tent sites and RV sites with cabins available. It's beautifully wooded with lots of shade and a stream runs along the back of the property. (The view from the stream is breathtaking.). The young woman at the office was so nice and very helpful. There's a nice gift store that offers very unique jewelry and other items that you don't find in most campground gift stores. They also sell ice. We highly recommend checking it out.

Awesome. We got a lodge room. It is much bigger than it looks from the outside. There is a front…read moreand back door to the room. The front is where you park and unload. The back door has a bench facing the mountains for watching wildlife and the beautiful scenery. It's more like a small cabin with a vaulted ceiling, two queen beds, a very large wood table (for bags, boxes and other supplies), microwave, refrigerator, a leather chair and a small kitchen table for two ( which my man is using as a desk. The bathroom is HUGE. The sink area is smaller than those hotel rooms that have that large flat area outside the bathroom where the sink and mirror are located. There is about 5 feet of open space so you don't have to put you face near the toilet when you dry yourself off. The beds are super clean and super comfortable. The Ranch Brand is all over the room. On the headboards, back of the chairs, and even on the mirror. Everything is made from wood, no plastic, cloth or pleather chairs and tables. We checked in late, so we haven't yet taken advantage of the rest of the property. There are some 'trails' or walk around the property. The Walkabout Loop goes around the whole property, which is right next to the Wind River. There is a playground and firepit. They have 10 tent sites and 55 RV sites. You can pull through, pull in, back out your RV. They even have some spaces for 'big rigs'. There are also 4 cabins as well, so they have whatever level of comfort you're looking for. Can't wait to come back, maybe stay in a cabin and take a horse ride.

The owner, Jeanine Baker, actually raised her voice at me and spoke over me as I asked for at least a partial refund. The spot we were put in had no electric or water, the sewage was being used by the camper next to us. The picnic table and area around was littered with construction and plumbing supplies. During the night a large man under the influence of drugs or alcohol was stubling around near our site making it impossible to sleep comfortably for fear of our safety. The onsite bathroom is filthy and backs up to a shop with chemical odors so strong it is hard to breathe. We were charged 82.00 o stay here after asking for a different spot we were told there was not another spot. We literally could have stayed in a parking lot for free and felt safer. Don't waste your time or money, the owner is terrible and the camp sites are unsafe at best. I would provide pictures but this review doesn't allow for photos.

The WIFI is good which is quite necessary because we haven't had good cell service. We are in a travel trailer and the tent area looks very nice. Lots of good green grass throughout the campground. Easy access from the highway. Highly recommend it.
