Upon purchasing our mattress, we were told by the salesman Jerome, that their mattresses are typically delivered within 1-2 days. (I have since read other reviews with this same issue so realize he was lying to me from the start). As of this time, it has been three weeks, countless hours of calling and waiting on long holds, nearly a dozen emails... and still, no mattress. Not even a scheduled date for delivery. Will I ever receive it? Who knows. I have a herniated disc, and was advised by my doctor to get a firm bed as soon as possible. Had I been told the honest truth that it would be likely over a month (longer?) before receiving the mattress, I would have gone elsewhere. This review is now an act of desperation in the hopes that it will motivate them to stop giving me the run around and actually deliver my purchased mattress. Go elsewhere if you can.

They had one person sell the bed, another take measurements and a third do the installation. The salesperson sent the wrong info to the measurements person; the measurements person didn't measure things properly; and the installer showed up alone; he couldn't get down the basement steps. We should have started with Hide N Go. After the failed installation with that other company, we found Murphy Bed Mike. It was easy to schedule an appointment with him for his NYC location. He met with us, patiently reviewed our needs, understood the issue with had with a tight space to get to the basement, and showed us what we needed. No high pressure tactics, no upsell, simply a friendly consultative review. Mike stayed in touch with us with good communication while we waiting a few weeks for delivery. He was flexible with scheduling installation and he installed it personally (with help). The murphy bed fits out old basement perfectly, while the mattress is comfortable and convenient. The day before delivery Mike text confirmation for the delivery window and was on time that day. Mike and his assistant were careful and respectful of my space during installation. After installation, they checked that everything was attached safely and properly and ensured that the bed was ready for overnight guests.
