DO NOT BUY A BED FROM THIS PLACE-terrible customer service, poor quality; they are scammers! The warranty is TERRIBLE! We have had our bed for 2 1/2 years; after many phone calls to a customer service that speaks English as a second language(this contributes to them not understanding the issues w/ the bed and them just repeating responses over and over that do not fix the issue). The service people they send out are incompetent (after 3 tries still same issue and they make promises that they do not keep). I am very patient but this company is 100% terrible! Their app doesn't work(we have had to reset our bed/app over 100 times in the 2+ years). The mattress leaks air after 3 attempts...Additionally, it squeaks when it is up in the sleeping position-the service people said that I should be okay with it being loud and annoying because it's over 2 years old! This is an $8000 bed; it should be 100% quiet.. (their warranty drops off quickly and you end up paying Hundreds of dollars for them to service it and for the expensive parts(my air pump was $500 w/ shipping and installation!!!)...Clearly some people have had a great experience and I envy them; the bed is very comfortable when it works. read more

We drove out to Kapolei in search for a new bed. We wanted to try out the sleep number due to the commercials where they show being able to adjust the firmness. My husband wants a very firm bed for his back. When we initially walked in, the workers were helping other people. Despite that, one of the workers left his customer to follow us around the store. He immediately asked what we know about their beds and what we were looking for. When we said we know some, he asked us to explain what we knew. It was like taking a pop quiz. Then, when we said we were looking for the Black Friday special (50% off), he took us to the bed. Apparently they are discontinued. He laid a napkin on the pillow and told my husband to lay down. It was not firm enough, so we asked for a firmer bed. He took us to another bed and scolded us to bring the napkin with us. When we got there, that bed wasn't firm enough either. Overall, the experience was poor. Pushy salesman that followed us like we were going to steal a bed. The bed should sell itself. It's also a little rude to leave your current customer to harass someone else. I saw a couple walk in after us and they immediately walked out as well. 1-12-24 As soon as we entered Zach approached us and introduced himself. I had checked their website on Yelp on the ride over so I had a little info to not waste time. I told him I was looking for a queen bed that raises your head. I asked him about the bed advertised that was 40 % off. I found out from Zach that none of their beds are in stock with a 3-4 week waiting period. He placed a paper towel like piece over the first bed for me. It was like a Papa Bears height so I looked around. Another display bed diagonally across looked lower. I asked to try that one instead. He operated the remote. I liked the firmest one more than the soft one that cuddled to your body. All beds have a 10 year warranty. This maybe the last bed I'll ever have to buy. I added on the $200+ mattress pad protector. He said if there is a stain you can call customer service and if they can't remove the stain you get a new one. I asked what's else I needed like a remote and he said I can use my phone. Sounded cool to me. Sale completed so quickly. Earliest delivery is longer than expected but I am hoping it'll be worth the wait. I asked about removing the old bed and was told they would only take the mattress for $50 but not the frame. I just purchased my second sleep number bed and I couldn't have been happier with the entire experience! I walked into the store and was promptly greeted by Diana. Since I had already had a Sleep Number bed there was less to discuss. I had the last bed for 12+ years and the only reason I needed a new one was because I had given mine to a family member. It was still in perfect condition and slept like a dream. In the time since I had purchased the last one there had been some changes and upgrades. So we discussed the options and I decided on which model I wanted. She printed out a quote and said I could call her when I was ready to buy. I did want to go look at traditional beds and make sure I was going to be happy staying with a Sleep Number. After checking out other beds I realized that a Sleep Number was what I wanted. The other beds that felt similar were much higher priced and I know those are going to get saggy in a few years. I called her the next day and placed my order over the phone. It took about 3 weeks for my bed to come in. The communication from them was great! I got email and text updates (you can opt out) and on the day of delivery I received a confirmation call from the delivery team, first in the morning, then a few minutes before they came. The delivery guys came and introduced themselves. They were fast, efficient and very contiencious. TJ was professional and so knowledgeable about the product! Not like a typical delivery where they drop it, high five you and they leave. TJ showed me everything I needed to know about the bed, the Sleep Number app and made sure I was comfortable with everything before they left. Yes, they aren't the cheapest but the sleep I get on this bed is worth it. If you're mattress shopping do yourself a favor and at go check them out. read more

Sleep Numbers logistics is crap! After dealing with a canceled delivery for July 24th and finally getting a new date of Aug 8th they called again to cancel it and reschedule for 20 days later. Chris V from Sleep Number responded to my last post but it really didn't solve the issue. Find another mattress store if sleep number doesn't have what you want to purchase in stock. There is no guarantee you will get it based on the experience I've had! Chris I spent hours on the phone with the number you provided me. It took 3 days to get someone who could help and they were able to move my rescheduled delivery up to Aug 8th. On the 7th I was called and informed the delivery was again rescheduled to Aug 28th due to a staff shortage. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was transferred to an answering service. I have not received a call back yet. So in short I have spoken directly with Sleep Number on numerous occasions and in length and all I get is a run a round. read more

So we went on a holiday weekend after I did some homework on what model we might be interested in. It was a sales weekend, so there was a bit of a wait, and while that time we tested the beds and which ones we thought we preferred. When the sales guy was finally able to get to us (again, we were prepared to wait because of the sales and amount of people in the store ahead of us) we had decided on the C4. Andrew L. has good information about the financial and warranty specifics if you want to know more on that. Applied for the 3 year no interest financing, and then scheduled the delivery. It did take almost a month for the delivery date, so patience and planning is to your advantage if you are considering a Sleep Number here in Hawaii. When it was delivery day, got a phone call prior to their arrival, and the set up was done quite quickly especially since they were training a new guy as well. Set up the app on our phones, sync'd the phone to the bed, and they ran through the app and were on their way. The delivery supervisor told us, "if you have any problems, call us at the Kapolei store. The 888 number goes to the mainland, and with the time difference we'd rather you just call us directly" I like that! Still working on my sleep number, but definitely enjoying my new bed. read more

Without hesitation, my wife and I decided on their top bed. Now yes it is pricey, don't get me wrong. HOWEVER! We've learned over the years to not compromise on a good nights rest. These beds come with a 15 year warranty, 0% interest financing, and 30 day price match guarantee. You can call them 5-10times within the month if you find that there are sales on anything you have purchased or if shipping was so happen to be free. They want you to call to price match. That's customer service! They also make your beds from the factory so it takes about four weeks to get shipped to Hawaii. Now, there is a $199 shipping fee to Hawaii, HOWEVER, 30 day price match, right? So if you find out there's one weekend where they offer free shipping, guess what? You call and asked to price match that. Now your shipping is free! They really stand by their model of making sure that their customer is fully satisfied. How? You get 100 day free trial. This means if you are not 100% satisfied, you can either exchange or receive a refund. Dash not only on their beds, that's on their sheets and pillows as well. With all the sales that are happening this weekend, we were able to save $1000, and fortunate to jump on there 60 month financing, since we were purchasing the top model. And again, 0% interest financing! So you can get a total, divided by however many months your financing, and that's pretty much your monthly. Seriously! And be sure to work with Andrew! He will do whatever he can to be sure that you are 100% satisfied. Why? Because he's a customer to and he, just like us, is always looking for the best deal. Also, referrals gain you store credit! Your first referral gains you $100. Second referral, $150... Third; $200... Once you make 10 referrals, you gain up to a $3000 store credit. **One thing to note, if you're shopping online, those prices are only for the 48 states. For Hawaii and Alaska, our prices are higher and are not reflected on the website. Our bed was delivered and set up just a couple of days ago. The two technicians that came to do the job were actually salespeople from the Kapolei store, Mel and Andrew (our salesman). The did a great job in removing our old bed and installing the new one, joking with my granddaughters who were "overseeing" the project. Once the bed was assembled, Mel went through the Sleep IQ app with me, showing me how to monitor my sleep. Someone from the Sleep Number store called the next day to follow-up on the install and asked if we had any questions about the bed. I am really impressed with their fantastic customer service. Over the next two nights, I had the best sleep I've had in years. Not only was the bed the perfect firmness, it supported my lower back, shoulders, and hips, but that I actually woke up feeling great and well rested. Earlier this morning my family was driving in traffic and a worker or owner from Sleep Number Kapolei was impatient. He honked, cut off my family car and then flicked us off. Then the person hurried into Sleep Number Kapolei and locked the door. This was before the store opened. I am disappointed at the lack of Aloha from whoever that worker/or owner is of Sleep Number Kapolei. For future customers be mindful of the lack of kindness, lack of aloha, and rude conduct. We bought half split after realized split work better for someone next to you wake up if elevate legs. Exchange is not easy when you live island but not Honolulu . You must try long time before decide . Exchange was lots work but manager Larissa 's work ethics totally helped us big time !! If she wasn't this consistent , if she is not good hearted I couldn't exchange process at all ! Sleepnumber 1888- number was not reliable they have no one can lead us what to do but Larissa made so hard work on this helped us!! I don't regret buy Sleepnumber bed it's still highly recommended mattress and system . My friend own Funiture company told me to buy inexpensive mattress then put some foam on top " but still Sleepnumber make joy of sleeping life styles . They can manage my sleep hour and breathing count are really amazing how they do that ?!?!?! Just regular mattress and foam can't do this ! Larissa had to take care of us after but because of her things what I wanted can be done without issue . There are lots Sleepnumber store but I really highly recommended buy from her management store . You get great care . Very lovely but work extremely professional ! You can find pretty good mattress lots different company but I strongly recommend spend one good price for Sleepnumber before I move from CA I had one I been using 18 yrs it was still great mattress only reason I had to give a way because I couldn't bring to hawaii with me . I should have ! But now I order new model I am very very happy all sleep IQ they do it automatically it's just amazing . Especially if you are in Honolulu or mainland or where shops located your shopping experience will be easier . And I will be more than happy to tell everyone who looks for a bed to STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I really should have know better, too much tech to go wrong. I bought my Sleep Cal King 360 in January 2019. In August 2021, just about 2 1/2 years, my side of the bed was leaking air. Called and found out the warranty is based on a "Declining Balance". Meaning they would "age" the bed and you must pay more for repairs as time went on during the warranty period, it wasn't really fully covered. So new inflatables would run about $150.00. Of course, this figure grows with each passing month. About $100.00 would be for a "professional" to install it. Which is laughable if you take a look inside. Also, the remote has become glitchy as well, even with new batteries. Now sleeping with padding on my side and no adjustable bed. Very sorry I walked in that store. read more

We had an amazing experience at this Sleep Number. Natalie is who helped us and we couldn't be more grateful. She was super knowledgeable about the product and walked us through everything from start to finish. They start with getting you a sleep number and giving you a demo. You definitely feel the difference right away and you can see on the monitors how it relieves the pressure off your back. They have a ton of different models and choices and Natalie spent the time to explain each one. She never tried to upsell or pressure us into something we didn't want at anytime. We felt good about getting a mattress, sheets and a heat dispersing mattress cover. Still on the fence about it but I can honestly say we haven't been hit at all since using any of the cooling technology stuff. The next amazing group from this store was the delivery team, they are legit Sleep number employees and they are just as knowledgeable as anyone out there. They came in set everything up and we're complete professionals. I've had a gone back a few times with questions and had a great time getting answers. Also don't fret if you don't like your mattress you can return before 100 days. They have a referral program as well. BEWARE I'm so mad we bought a $6000 air mattress that is CRAP literally every night i wake trying to find my phone in the dark to reset my sleep number. 1st we noticed they got our names on the wrong side of the bed, thanx to the guy at the store who couldn't even get that right. My husband and I both picked pillows but didn't kno exactly who picked which pillow.... i would think the "professionals" would have noted that for us..... so back to this CRAP BED! I don't think the bed knows who's sIde is whos.... my hubby gets to close to my side and it adds air... 4 out of 7 nights i wake up in the middle of the night feeling like I'm on a cement floor. The app says it's on my setting but i know it's not. I think the showroom floors have false advertising cause the bed we picked is nothing like the one we laid on aNd said yes too feels nothing like my bed. We gave it time to see if we liked it because it's so expensive u want it to work and we can't go back to our old bed cause it's gOne. As promised!! Here's the update, waited until we had actually gotten several months under our "number" lol...along with our son who, is now 18 and just today 9 May 2019 became the owner of the bed he wanted over 9 months ago the i10. All we can both say is "IN FREAKIN CREDIBLE!!!" Nothing words can actually say for pain relief and unbelievable sleep sorry. However, about a month into our first bed the company sent us emails, we had also seen a couple commercials pop up for a Labor Day sale on the limited edition ILE bed. So we asked and they said it's up to you folks, but this bed has a couple extra bells and whistles your P6 doesn't but we have good news, if you want... we can switch it out for the ILE and...get this, you'll even get some money back as it's a promotional offer from the company. So, we switched beds they came and picked up the P6, set up the ILE and we have never regretted one freakin penny for A. Getting a sleep number bed. and B. Switching to the ILE hope this review helps anyone who is skeptical or wondering if it is worth it for one of these master pieces of craftsmanship. I say again do not buy one of these beds I paid about 2k and I'm getting 2 dollar service. Horrible. When I spend $7000 on something --- anything --- I hope that the vendor will understand that it is a choice to spend that much and treat the purchaser accordingly. In other words, Sleep Number is NOT doing me a FAVOR by selling me a bed. So, here in Hawaii, this entire process is much more cumbersome than it needs to be, so I already had a chip when I went into the store. (One may not sort through the website to get product/price/time frame etc). I was in and out in 20 minutes, not wanting to take up much of the salesman's time, nor wishing to spend a great deal of mine. I asked him to explain the different types of split mattresses etc. And went to make the purchase. So, comes time to pay ($7196!), and I told the salesman that he would need to have it there in the morning to conform to my schedule (amazing, isn't it, that customers have obligations other than waiting around?), and that I would not be making the purchase unless he could guarantee a morning delivery. Now, the first problem I had with the salesman is that he said he would "...do (his) best". I told him that would not be good enough. I told him to make it happen, so he made a phone call and was not at all assertive with the person on the other end of the phone, something about do their best ... So we went round and round a few times, with me being very clear, and him evading commitment. Finally, he tells me that OTHER customers have spent a great deal of money as well, and that I shouldn't expect special treatment. WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT? He's right, I should be treated the same as all other customers, which might mean inconveniencing the ROUTE DRIVERS rather than the customer. It is quite acceptable to say "I need morning" or "I need afternoon", and not be kept hostage for eight hours. It's up to the company to make it work. I could not pin him down, and I was growing weary of arguing, so I told him that it needs to be morning or I will simply cancel the order on that day. If it comes to that, I will certainly be reaching out to Sleep Number BEYOND the call center to share why. You know, this may sound to many (particularly younger) folks as an entitled position, but the state of business in this country is abysmal. We have been conditioned to believe that we are at the mercy of the corporations with which we do business. I shall not part with that kind of money to have someone dictate TO ME how I shall spend my day. Frankly, if they only have one route driver who goes ONLY east to west or vice versa, then they are saving money at the expense of the customer. If I'm buying a box of soap at Target I will accept that, if I am spending almost as much as a car, I will not. read more

This store has one of the best customer service I have ever experienced!. Natalie was our sales rep and she made our buying experience a good one. She never once pushed us into buying a bed when we went to just inquire. She explained the difference between all the models and gave us quotes. I'm glad we decided on buying that day because I had no idea these beds has to be shipped and considering were in Hawaii it took almost 2 months.. There was a little mix up on the headboard and side wing so were still waiting on that but hey I'm finally sleeping on this amazing bed!. Oh and the delivery of our new bed was a good experience as well!. The 2 gentlemen delivering and setting up the bed was just as awesome. Once the bed was set up they explain everything to you and how to work it.. Sleep numbers return policy is true to its word as well!. I wasn't too happy with one of the pillows I purchased and they let me exchange it out!. How awesome is that?!. I will definitely be referring anyone looking for a new bed to this store.. Sleep number is a horribly dishonest company. There say they have guarantee/satisfaction return periods, but this is false and not true. The only thing that they allow to be returned, and that is only after an exhaustive process where they challenge you on everything, is maybe the mattress. The base furniture part and headboard, the adjustable base, or any other option are considered "final sale". It worse than buy a car - a used car!!!!! Sleep number want everyone to have a house payment, a car payment, and a mattress payment - and not necessarily in that order. They have an advertising policy that is classic bait and switch. Don't believe me, then just wait for an add and then go in and try to purchase a bed at the advertised price. You'll be shocked and amazed. They also are masters of vague and ambiguous communication and seem to lose 30 I.Q. points once you pay for your bed and have it delivered. Classic consumer ripoff that would make Vic Tanney gyms and Fred Astaire Dance Studios of the 50s and 60s proud. I wish I had a place to burn my bed!!! read more
