I purchased a dining room table with chairs (Kapolei) and a very large and heavy teak root console (Honolulu) for a combined delivery. They arrived on time. Sione confirmed were in the house I wanted the items placed. I was very concerned that my new vinyl flooring was not damaged as the teak root was extremely heavy. They did a great job, very courteous, and made sure the piece was centered to the wall. Too bad the lady who called in the morning of the delivery had a "sour" attitude. Otherwise, I would have given it a 5-star rating.

I've purchased several items at INspiration on Kapiolani but since I was in the area for other reasons I though why not give this locations peek since they do have lots of options for all types of furnishings. Obviously located in Kapolei Commons which is amazing as there's lots of free parking options you can find them all the way at the end after Target near the theater which is nice that we didn't have to fight to find a stall as it can get quite busy in that part of the shopping center. Walking into the spacious showcase floor we were greeted by a staff to a point that we didn't need any assistance at the moment as we started to look for a chair...yup just a simple single chair which sounds easier than done we came here knowing that they do have a great selection to choose from and found prices from $79 to $499 for a single chair lol! All the way in the back there is a section that they consider the "outlet" prices which looked the same as the rest of the prices so it didn't seem like it was a discount as one was a floor model that should be the obvious discounted price to offer but didn't find anything in that section. With that we did find a chair that fit all the boxes that we were looking for and found the sales staff to finalize the sale and as she did her thing we paid and was given the chair as I asked if they had it in stock to the answer she replied yes they did..yay! She walked over and gave us the chair from the floor...and said this was it? To her defense it was New Year Day and the warehouse was closed BUT didn't confirm that if the floor model would be okay and still sold it to us at full price...she thought that we didn't mind. I didn't appreciate the lack of communication but took it anyways paid and got our paperwork to which we walked out the door quite disappointed to which she chased us down later cause she need the tag that was attached to it lol, then came back again for the paperwork to confirm we got the item...not impressed with the professionalism and communication as it all was very basic yet done so poorly for just a chair thankfully it wasn't a whole set of furniture.

It's July and no one has responded or followed up. I'm not ever going to recommend this place to anyone. May as well stick to the more reliable Red Knot/Ashley company which have been around forever. Unfortunately they are failing in the area of customer service and will be the demise of any business in the long run.

The craftsmanship is spot on and the work is guaranteed. He can make any type of bed really, and I believe our monster platform bed of this type was a first if I'm not mistaken. It took me a couple of years and several trips to different furniture stores to decide on a…read moresectional when I moved to the west side. When I finally decided on one, I took advantage of the July 4th sales to purchase that and a coffee table. The in-store service was fine, and I understood that any customization of my sectional would mean that I would wait 4-5 months to receive my furniture. What I was not aware of was the ridiculous delivery practices in place. Here's how it works: 1. When your order is paid in full (you pay 50% upon order, then 50% when it's ready), you are allowed to choose a delivery date only, no time slot, not even a morning or afternoon preference. 2. Two days before your delivery date, you are notified, of the time slot during which your delivery should arrive. Did I mention there's not preference given? 3. If you are unable to accept your delivery at the time slot given, you go back to choosing another date and return to step 2. I found the delivery procedure very frustrating. While I did finally receive my furniture delivery, and I love it, I think it took me a month, and three delivery requests to finally get my furniture delivered. I guess the problem was that I work full time and was not able to block off a whole day to wait for my furniture delivery. It was very frustrating. The delivery guys were very nice and efficient, but something needs to be done about their scheduling!! I'm glad I won't need to purchase any furniture in the foreseeable future.

I was originally going to spend only 800-900 bucks on…read morean Ashley furniture bedframe at the NEX but upon talking with Danny I decided to splurge a bit on a bedframe from him instead custom made for me. This allowed me to set my Temperpedic BedRiser/Boxframe and my Serta Form mattress together without it being to large for me to get up (it's still rather high but I like it that way!). He was very professional and the whole job after Taxes cost about 1400 dollars which is about average considering other big box places charge around the same for much more low quality wood. All this wood is solid and easily breaks down with no tools required! I love it! They also designed and made three separated roller drawers for storage underneath which makes good use of the underside of the bed. I am already using Danny to make me some new cabinet doors as well as I was so impressed with the finish and craftsmanship of his wood. Now you don't have to spend as much as I did but I wanted it to look perfect and it does! Pictures show the completed frame and then my bed fully made and I'll reference this review.

The Monkeypod table he made for us is beautiful, and he even added a small shelf underneath for us to put our kids' stuff on when entertaining, per my request. It's perfect, even better than I had asked for! I will be commisioning Danny to make more wood furniture for us soon!
