It is easy to say it has been 'the' best mattress protector I have purchased and used. The pad has really done 'its thing' well, and at the same time, has proven to be so comfy and durable. We had a lovely time here buying a mattress. Andres was very focused on getting my mom the perfect mattress, and he let me and my sister test out a few. He handed us a bed massage remote control, pillows, weighted blankets. Just generally a very nice guy who was very patient with our indecisiveness and gave us the information to make the best choice for ourselves. He definitely knows his stuff. read more

I was very happy with my mattress & bed frame purchase at the Port Coquitlam location. Anne & the other in-store staff were excellent. This is where my good service experience ended. Anne had mentioned that my old mattress & box spring would be hauled away, no-charge. They would not take away my headboard or bed frame because they could damage mattresses in the truck. I was told that they would stand these things against the wall, & I would have it taken away. Delivery guy said that I was misinformed, they do not touch other furniture. He kept saying he wanted to give customers good customer service, asked if I had tools, since they did not have tools on their truck to take apart furniture. Not impressed at all. I do not have tools, & was shocked that no tools on their truck. He disappeared and produced a tool to use.Suprise, suprise​​​.. They dismantled bed frame, set up against a wall& & set up new bed. I felt bad & kept thanking them for this extra service& gave them each $20 cash tip(($40) He wanted to keep me as customer happy, but would report this incident to his supervisor, so this would not happen again. My experience with delivery guys was disappointing and did not live up to my expectations and hope other customers do not get 2 different service promises from store staff VS delivery staff. read more

I have recently purchased a bed and mattress from Sleep Country, Barnet Highway, Coquitlam. It has not yet been delivered. I returned to the store and the original salesperson was not in. I had the pleasure of meeting BROCK who was knowledgable and genuinely interested in my concerns. I am 81 years old. He led me around the store explaining the various pluses and minuses of the headboards and bases. I truly appreciated his genuine interest in guiding and advising me and I can highly recommend him as a sales person you would enjoy dealing with. read more

I had an excellent experience with Andre in the process of selecting a bed and mattress, and working out the particulars of the sale. Was not pushy but did an excellent job in pointing out the options. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Delivery was as smooth as butter. You are called first thing in the morning and given a 3 hour timeframe for the delivery. They also removed my existing king mattress and box spring set. Bottom line: walked in to the store looking for a new bed and mattress. Two days later, without a hitch, I'm sleeping soundly in my new bed. Thank you Sleep Country. read more

I didn't know a mattress buying experience could be so nice. The pressure free yet attentive, friendly, informed salespeople made our day very relaxing. We walked away spending only about 2/3 of what we expected, and that includes a couple extras we purchased like a new pillow and mattress cover. We took those small items home the day of purchase, and our happily expecting our mattress delivery only 4 days later... Nice and quick especially considering the great Boxing week sales. read more

I came in and salesman Tim was very helpful, answered all my questions and he had expertise in selecting the right mattress. I bought a Queen Storage Tiffany Bed with a Serta Perfect Sleeper Elite Fiora Mattress. He set up the delivery a week later on the weekend I got a call at 8am from the Delivery guys. I was told I was their first delivery and they arrived at around 9am in the Sleep Country Truck. I held the door while they brought in the pieces into the elevator. 2 gents put together the bed real quick. 3 parts, bottom base and the headboard. In and out and they cleaned up, I signed for it , they cleaned up the packaging and left. Just make sure the area is clear where the bed needs to go. Wonderful Experience and I love the bed. Pricey but I upgraded from a 15 year old full bed. read more

We had a very 'interesting' experience here, and after you read my review you will know exactly what I am talking about when you go to this place. It was time to upgrade the old mattress as we both were rolling to the middle of the bed and would wake up sweating each other out all night. When we went to Sleep Country to find a mattress, we probably spent a good hour or so laying on different beds and chatting to the sales guy. I can't remember the guys name but he had brown hair, big man that would sound like he was on a respirator every time he took a breath in. We paid for our bed upfront, and bought a few other items like pillows and bed covers and then was told we would have our bed delivered at a date and time that was working convenient for us. I received a call from the delivery guy and was on a different day and time, so I called the store back and the man that we had originally dealt with answered the phone ( I could tell due to the breathing, very labored breathing). When I explained the issue the man got very irritated and stared arguing with me on the phone. Was very unprofessional and it was like, he made the sale and he didn't want to deal with us anymore. I rearranged my day and was home for the delivery only to have 2 pillows missing. UGH It's unfortunate for Sleep Country as the company itself is great and they donate a lot of mattresses to the less fortunate... but the service of this particular store sucked. The only good news is, we liked our mattress. Maybe just go to another location. read more

I would like to make a complaint about the horrible service my friend and I received at the Sleep Country in Coquitlam BC on Lougheed Hwy. I would like someone to contact me back immediately to help rectify the situation and I would like to cancel my order with this location and may consider rebooking with another location but I still feel like the deal I recieved was not that great and know and hope you can do better. On sunday, September 13 my friend and I Literally experienced the worst shopping experience ever... As per all other yelp reviews on this location I am clearly not the only one who was treated so poorly by the manager at this location. I get that perhaps some people have bad days and I rarely ever complain. But this must not be a fluke incident judging from the other reviews. He was a heavy set man, with an accent, breathed heavily and had dark hair. The sales lady I have purchased from her in the past she was pretty nice. I've never had a shopping experience where it literally left me with such a horrible gut feeling afterward. My friend felt the same. My friend and I had walked in hoping to get a good deal on a mattress as she had purchased one a couple days prior at the Granville Location at an amazing deal and service. This was my second time purchasing an expensive mattress at this location and used the same sales lady. Upon entering. I knew what i wanted and the deal i should have received. I asked to get the same deal as my friend who got a sealy mattress and box spring for $799 when we mentioned this deal as you have a "price match policy" the rude manager basically made us feel like we were scam artists and liars. And was just so rude and condescending toward us. Upon looking up my friends history the lady and man saw we were not lying and then the manager angrily ordered the lady infront of us and other customers "arggg fine match that price and what is that sales persons name who sold to them im going to file a complaint to the district manager and get this guy suspended he wont have a job for a couple of days and also give him a lesson on how to count numbers properly what an idiot" My friend and i were in complete and utter shock that 1) he basically made us feel so low and horrible for getting a good deal and for feeling really happy about the service and rate we reciebed so happy that we came back to the same company days later to shop again and 2) how unprofessional the manager was in yelling out that he was going to get another employee fired just for doing his job right infront of potential customers After that the manager and sales lady basically ignored us and when another customer walked in the manager was soooo nice and fake to them and did not even acknowledge us. I really did not know how to feel but I really needed a mattress so I ended up buying one more expensive but they would't even give me a deal on a box spring or anything. They manager was not even friendly during the transaction process. I don't know why I ended up buying a mattress with them after how disgustingly we were treated but I had time to think about it and think i will call back and cancel my order due purely by this fact. I just really can't believe how horrible someone can make you feel after a mattress shopping experience. I was so excited to buy furniture for my new place as it is such an amazing milestone in ones life but after that i just wasnt in the mood to finish the rest of my errands and continue shopping. It makes me never want to shop for mattresses again and definitely never with Sleep Country at this location. I thought this was a company which prided itself in their customer service? What an absolute joke! I recently purchased the lavender memory foam pillows at $150!! I decided on the softer pillow. Terri mentioned because the pillows are memory foam it keeps its firmness for 3 yrs but never mentioned that even though I went with the softer pillow when I got home I tried it and within minutes got a horrible kink in my neck. It was so incredibly hard. According to Terri I should sit on it to soften it up but how helpful can that be with it being memory foam and it rising up once again. I called back the next day and Dave was so rude. Advised me to call there 1 800 number and see if it's defective! I WILL NEVER go back and purchase anything from this store. Absolutely horrible horrible service AND product!! With service like that I can't see them staying open much longer. read more

I felt I should chime in with a review on this location as well, as 2 stars seemed too high for this location. There's something 'wrong' with this store, and if this is how a typical Sleep Country operates, I won't set foot in any of their stores ever again. I was looking for a new mattress set, and found what I thought was a decent combination. But, I needed my wife to come down and see whether she liked it. The sales guy 'recommended' I put $400 down to hold it until she arrived, and I could have it refunded if she didn't. Ok, sounds good. So that's what I did. She goes down not even two hours later, and decides she doesn't like it. Sales guy now says "oh, we can't refund your money. that has to come from head office'. WHAT? You just took my money in store, why not refund it? The Best Part - It took almost FOUR MONTHS for head office to eventually return our money. Sleep Country 'stole' our money for FOUR MONTHS, earning interest and money on OUR MONEY for FOUR MONTHS. What a sleazy, scummy, sickening way to run a business. I will never be back, and will shop only at reputable businesses from this point forward. read more

We bought a bed for my daughter last Saturday at the Boyd St location in Queensborough. The salesguy was obviously only interested in a commission. We repeatedly told him we were only interested in a twin bed for our girl, and NO were NOT buying a king size bed. Earliest delivery date available was a week later. We gave them our address and MY phone number as husband was going to be out. They called me at 8am to state delivery would be at some point from 10am-1pm. They had the wrong address, which I corrected for them. The delivery never happened and no phone call to explain why. I called dispatch at 1:30pm and they were closed. I called the store and the man on duty said he would figure it out and call me back. He never did. Hubby gets a voicemail about 4 hrs after the fact (after telling them they were to contact me and me only) stating our buzzer was broken and they were there at 11am and then left. I went downstairs to test it; NOPE not broken. We called the customer service hotline number and their reaction was 'Too bad. Try tomorrow'. It's ludicrous that someone who spends $1170 and sits around their house a full day waiting get treated like this, all because their employees are lazy AF. read more

Sale person is horrible. I don't know how good of the other salesman in this store (Barnet Hwy) but the one called "Dave" is absolutely rude and lack of service mind. I went there twice and I have had the same experience for both visiting. He didn't want to give me a clearly information about the price and availability of the products. He seems to be like he would give me all details if I had agreed to buy stuff from his store. He doesn't want to give you any price detail which you can use to compare with the other stores. Well we Have purchased our King Size Mattress from Terry and Dave at the Barnet Hwy store, and are never Happier, with the service form the staff and the Truck drivers.We bought it this September, 2016. It was 25 years since we Bought our last mattress from Sleep Country, and they took our old Sleep country Mattress, put the new one in, and we hope for many more years of pleasure. THE ONLY BAD EXPERIENCE WE HAD was with CITI FINANCIAL,WHO CALLED ME A LIAR, IN a few problems, They SayTHE PHONE I had the Conversation?on, " Like trying to tell me I wasn,t talking on my own phone to them, and wouldn,t let me talk to the MANAGER? It Took 3or more times to get the \application correct at the Store as they said the Sales Man Terry, wasn,t putting the correct info in on the Form? I would never charge a Sleep Country item again, as long as they have C ITI FINANCIAL.,or pay their Annual Membership?
