The owners are local folks that truly care about community relationships. Owners and staff just know how to make you feel like you're important. Since my first visit, they've made me feel like I'm part of their "family"! I don't like being pressured by annoying sales people who try to sell you something just to sell something even if it's not what you're looking for. I tell you right now, that's not the case at Grand Pappy's. The knowledgeable, professional and friendly staff have listened to my needs and helped me find exactly what I was looking for without pressuring me. Like many people, I like getting a deal especially when you spend thousands of dollars. For that reason, i have a tendency to shop around, compare prices and quality, etc. Now knowing that I'm a very happy customer at Grand Pappy's, it should tell you that after doing my homework that's where I bought. This has been the best experience I've had so far and I can't see any reasons why I should shop elsewhere!! I should add that the delivery staff were fantastic. My husband and I came in to the store near the end of the day just wanting to pick up a simple bed…read moreframe. The lady who greeted us was friendly and we let her know what we were looking for. She confirmed it was the steel frame we wanted, and then looked at us and said "obviously heavy duty?". Yes, we are not little people, however, comments like this are so ignorant and disrespectful. And then at the counter waiting to pay, there was a plastic container with chicken bones in it, someone's lunch that had been eaten at the counter? She asked a coworker to remove the container and said "we don't want them thinking it's an invitation to eat." We are both shocked at this experience and will likely not return to Sleep Country.
