Furniture was good, but customer service needs a lot of work. I was told delivery was only done on weekends only due to "high volume" I paid for services to have my furniture built at my apartment, and it was left not built and for me to build and I wasn't able to get refunded for the extra amount. Do jot buy anything from this store. They were supposed to deliver a mattress to my brothers in apartment in Kingston. Ordered it in the middle of summer. was supposed to be delivered before he started class. The day before it was to be delivered they cancelled the delivery because of low stock, they rescheduled it for two weeks later. Then they canceled it again after he has waited. They suggested my brother drive 24km in Uhaul to the pick it up at their distribution warehouse. Horrible service, a company you cannot rely on at all. I will never shop there. read more

I have had two really positive sales experiences recently at The Brick. Bryan was personable and professional and assisted me with a rather complicated furniture order that was multiple items and helped me to get exactly what I was looking for and answered all of my questions. Most recently, Shawn helped me with the purchase of a sofa bed. He was very knowledgeable and again, I got exactly the product that I needed. Best of all, it was available to be delivered sooner than I anticipated! Both sales were no pressure, relaxed and completed in a timely manner. I also really like The Brick's delivery tracker, so easy to know exactly when the item will be delivered to my door. read more

Will never put a foot in the chilliwack brick again. We were literally lied to when purchasing our washer and drier after being told on delivery that they did not do side venting for the drier. Upon talking to the salesperson, we expressly said we needed stacking and side venting and when upon being told at delivery no install for side venting I asked them to return my items and were refused. I have been fighting with the brick for the last 10 months. I bought a couch with the warranty and over the last 2 years there's been some stains on it. It's all covered under the warranty and yet I've had to fight with them to get the cleaning solution so I can clean my couch. They've told me it's in the mail and it never arrives. Then they say they've sent it out again and again and it somehow mysteriously never comes. Then they say they'll call you back, they never do. I'm so sick and tired of fighting with them. I paid $300 for the warranty and they don't honor it. If your thinking of going to The Brick I'd think twice about getting the warranty. Apparently they just like to steal your money. read more

The Brick store located in Chilliwack is by far the worst customer service I have ever experience. I'll be honest this is the first negative review I have ever written about any company, location etc. I purchased a dishwasher from the Brick approximately 3 years ago. I paid for the dishwasher and was told the dishwasher would be sent to the store within 3 days. While three weeks later I am driving to Abbotsford to pick one up myself. I then inform the brick in Chilliwack that I have my dishwasher at home so they can come install it as soon as possible. Well once again three more weeks and it was installed. Turns out my dishwasher sucked and I have had nothing but issues. Thankfully I paid for a 5 year warranty so I contacted the brick each time I had an issue. The warranty company that the brick uses is a husband and wife small company who are booked up for at least 3 weeks at a time. So on each call they finally show up 3 weeks later to tell me they need to order a part in hopes that will fix the issue. Well 3 years later and 8 visits by the same guy he was finally convinced my dishwasher was garbage and informed the brick to replace it. So two weeks ago now I hesitantly go into the store with my wife and we pick out a new dishwasher. I informed them of my previous issues and was promised I would not experience similar situations. I purchased it on a Saturday and they phoned me on Tuesday to say it had arrived. I said thank you once I hear from the installation guy that your providing me with I'll come pick it up. Well today I contact them again to see why I haven't heard from the installers and they told me the warranty money just got approved to do the install. I said perfect let's get them here tomorrow. They then tell me my dishwasher is not in stock and won't be at the store for almost two weeks? I questioned this as I paid for it and was told it was at the store. They looked into it and called me back informing me they actually sold mine to another customer. I then ask for a full refund which they will not do and they explain to me how much of a favour they are doing me by getting a special truck to deliver it to their store tomorrow. So I said ok tomorrow isn't to bad so when will it be installed. They now are telling me that they can't contact the installers until the dishwasher is at the store. I said bullshit as my dishwasher was there and you resold it. I said if you know it's coming tomorrow tell them that and get an install date set. So who wants to guess how long I'll have to wait till instal. If it's less then three weeks from today I'll be very surprised. I strongly recommend avoiding this store as their customer service is garbage. Go to a smaller store such as Grand Pappies for any future purchased and I promise you will be happy. read more
