I dropped off some prized-pieces of dresses, shoes and clothing items I have been trying to keep for years, wishing some day I may be able to fit in them again. Well, some wishes don't come true but I didn't forget to drop in and check out what they have in season. Their clothing boutique is small but quite sweet and was visually appealing. To my surprise, I found a Smart Set dress that was in an exceptional condition (SS was one of my fave stores that was discontinued). It fit like a glove and even better it was prized at $4! What a steal! This thrift store was a bit far off from downtown Langley but was worth the drive out. I would definitely come here again, especially when I donate again but also will be checking out any rare find!

Find treasures and trinkets for everyone on your gift/souvenir list and then some. Coming to Fort Langley to spend a day is a treat in itself, but I can't but visit VAM almost every time I am in Town. With countless dealers within the mall, the selection and collection is incredible, there are items from different time periods and categories. The display in each dealer's enclave is outstanding in most cases, imagine how to display so many items in such a small area and still attract your audience! Personally, I started to collect Fire King Jadeite about 15 yrs. ago and I have bought more then a few pieces from this Mall. Currently, I am trying to expand my toy car collections such as the Bat Mobile, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and the very rare Yellow Submarine!! This will give me more reason to keep coming back and see I am lucky enough to find one of them!

( The proceeds from this store go to help children in one of four orphanages in Mexico. ) The store isn't huge, but the prices are so great. I couldn't believe it, after seeing what some of the other local larger thrift stores charge -sometimes more then the actual retail price ... *cough*VV*cough* Anyway I came just before closing, so I didn't get to look around much. They had a sign for 50% off yellow tags. I found 2 new in packaging Ty Beanie Baby's for 1.00$ each ( but they were yellow tagged making them 1.00$ for both ! ) my friend collects them, so I couldn't resist. They made an announcement that they were closing soon. Which I loved- I hate it when a store is closed with no prior warning. I then saw the shoes on display. Again, unlike VV they were clean and gently used. I had only brought my boots with me ( I was in town for a few days ) and really could of used some casual shoes to slip on, instead of wearing my thigh high boots all the time, during this trip. I wear a 10 in footwear, so it's not always easy finding my size. I asked the lady if it was too late to try them on, and she was super nice. She told me to go ahead. Both pairs fit, and at 2$ and 3$ each how could I go wrong ? I also bought a glass heart necklace ( see pic ) for 1.00$ ! They had a good sized book selection at the back. I love to read, and go through 4-5 books a week ( another reason I like thrift stores- I can get my book fix ) there was only a few minutes to spare, so I didn't have time to browse but I did pick out a hardcover book. The lady on cash was also super nice and friendly. She rang me up and got me a nice box for my necklace. The total for everything ? Only 9.60$ !! I'm sure if I had more time to look, I would of probably found more stuff I really didn't need. But thrift stores is a fun way to spend some time, and not a lot of money. Langley seems to have a awful lot of thrift stores, so if you are in town, add this one to your list of places to stop by!

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service…read more Purchased a coat 3 weeks ago (to the day), had lost the receipt but gave them my information when purchased so figured it wouldn't be an issue. When I visited the store today to make the return, I was told I was WELL over the return date (which was 14 days) and that they could not find me in the system. So the item I had the tags on, and was clearly from the store, I could not only not return, but they would also not offer me some type of store credit. I find it funny that although between my mother and myself, we've purchased multiple items, that we wouldn't be in the system at all. Not whatsoever. I was treated like I was trying to steal from them, and a child. They looked down on me and hid behind their "policies". Having worked in retail for 5+ years (both small business and corporate) I understand policies are put into place for a reason, but do not agree with the way I was treated and it is extremely clear they do not care about their customers. They've not only lost me as a customer but my sisters, mother, and others I will share this story with in the future. Bye forever Bella + Wren. I won't miss you.
