Good bar food. Sat at the bar and love their french onion n veggie platter. Friend got pasta n IPA. Always a good meal

Slattery's is a no frills kind of pub. They have a small menu with a mixture of American-Irish classics and pub fare. The prices are in tune with the area but the hospitality is above average. Usually we make a stop here if we are on our way home from the city and are waiting for express bus. Ive met a few staff but Mike is our favorite so far. Every staff member we have interacted with has been great but we just know Mike the most from seeing him more often. They have any drink you could want and the beers are nice and cold. Thats very important to mention because some places literally never clean their lines or have the right temperature. The pace has two floors and is a sports bar. Always have games on the tvs.

Slatterys is great for watching Sports

Fun spacious environment for watching your favorite Sports team on one of the 26 HDTVs or just pull up Afterwork and listen to fun tunes! Private and semi-private events are always welcomed for you and your guests. John and staff are always very accomataring !! They loooove to host! Top picks are Midtown Burger, Pub Combo Sampler, Chicken Tenders and Chicken Pot Pie for the winter months!! I am health conscious so it's great they have some healthy options on the menu like soups and salads . I wholly recommend this place either for your next event or for Happy Hour!! Always good times!!

Brought a crowd of friends over to Slatterys before a Tar Heels game in New York City. Walked over to grab a couple blue cups and eat a meal before the game. We made some reservations just in case we had a hard time getting a table as this is a popular UNC destination before games. We were seated upstairs and our orders were promptly taken. We did not have much time to spare so I was a little worried with service since the place was packed! Fear not, food came out maybe 10 mins after we placed our order, amazing!! More amazing is the UNC themed menu they have on game days. I ordered the Ol' Roy's Still Perfect Burger, was cooked beautifully, can say the same for the fries as well, very generous portions. My wife got the Four Corners Club Sandwich which she was a fan of as well, noted the avocado portion as great. Our friends got some of the Mack Brown BBQ Chicken Fingers and were thrilled with their decision. This place is a must visit not only for the atmosphere but for the food as well. Will absolutely return, Go Heels!

Claire was such an amazing bartender and hostess! And Kyle let me give song request!!! The happy hour is 6$ beer, the food is great with large portions!

Went here on a Miami Dolphins game on a Sunday night. Wings were okay but I've had better. Bartender was great and never let my glass go empty even though the place was packed. The atmosphere was great and, if you're a Dolphins fan, i definitely recommend this place for game time.

Great good, staff was nice. Perfect place to catch the Dolphins game while visiting! Drinks are a little pricey.

It definitely has the vibe of a speakeasy, especially with the jazz band playing. We went with the brunch special which is $35 for bottomless drinks with the purchase of an entree. It pays off if you're having more than 2 drinks and we made sure we did! Bloody Mary's were excellent! The food here was outstanding. I had the 3 Eggs Any Style and my wife had the Breakfast Flatbread. Those dishes as well as our friends were well made and delicious. If you're headed to a play or just in the area, I'd recommend stopping here to eat, drink or both!

We're three young women in the service industry and still felt completely unwelcome--the hostess told us to find our own seating even though the sign said see hostess. The bartender was rude and uninterested, standing 5 min+ at the bar without even being acknowledged. Another staff member was dismissive when closing us out and rolled her eyes when asked to take cash. The overall vibe felt like we weren't wanted, even though it was only around 11 PM. The DJ was underwhelming and the bathroom was vile. The most pleasant part was the below average $20 drinks. For an expensive, well-known spot, this was a very poor experience. Couldn't pay me to return.

Warm lighting, good energy, and a chill crowd make it an easy place to hang whether you're starting your night or winding it down. One of the best parts is the menu. It's super affordable for NYC, but still delivers on quality. Everything feels simple, satisfying, and done right. We ordered the burger and fries, wings and fries, plus a margarita and a mojito. The burger was juicy and filling, the wings were flavorful, and the fries were hot and crispy. The drinks were solid, refreshing, and exactly what you want at a spot like this. Location-wise, it's perfect. The Grizzly Pear is close to so many things, making it a great stop before or after exploring the neighborhood, catching up with friends, or heading to another spot nearby. The service really stood out too. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing, which added to the relaxed vibe of the place. Overall, The Grizzly Pear is a great go-to if you want good food, decent drinks, a cool atmosphere, and fair prices all in one spot. Definitely a place I'd come back to again.

This was not a credit card fee (that I can understand). It is a "transaction fee" that is applied to all invoices. Are you kidding me! I have no trouble paying a an extra dollar for a burger. But if you try to rip me off by sneaking in extra charges, I will never come back. You just lost a regular customer over a $2 charge.

They had outdoor seating along 9th ave and 51st street. We sat inside at a hightop , along their big open windows of 9th; great in between of inside and outside. Plenty of options for a big or small group, or solo! Our server was McKenna, who was incredibly attentive, we never felt like we were waiting or had to wave anyone down. The food came quickly, and was great. Nothing that changed our lives, but hot, quick, and delicious. I can see this becoming a regular spot for when we can't decide on where to go and just want somewhere dependable and consistent. Inside is like a typical Irish pub: long bar, wood everywhere, comfy high tops and booth seating along the wall. Keep in mind that it is a sports bar with TVs everywhere, so they will be playing the major sport of the season. The volume isn't too loud though, enough to hear, but don't need to cover your ears. The bottomless option on the weekend is great, 2-3 drinks and you get your money's worth. The bloody's are good quality, with a good bite of Tabasco and horseradish (I prefer that!) and the mimosas are bubbly forward (they're not skimping you with mostly OJ). The food prices for brunch aren't crazy either. Selection is a bit limited, but seeing as this is a pub/tavern, I think they have a pretty good mix. Overall, would absolutely recommend. If you have a big group, have some common sense and book a reservation, but likely able to do walk-ins for small groups, couples, or singles easily. This is a great option for laid back vibes in HK.
