A group of six of us women came in June to the show and loved it so much that 8 of us came to the aug 1st show and were very disappointed.

It was a fun evening with friends. Comedians were very entertaining. Food is average but not bad.

We came to town for the annual RV show and wanted to make the most of our time in Homestead. Being…read morehuge fans of live entertainment, we decided to buy tickets to see Godfrey perform. We opted for the 930p show so that we could do dinner nearby, beforehand. The tickets said doors open at 915p for the 930p show. After we found parking (a lot of congestion and limited parking nearby the venue), we made our way to the theatre where a line was already forming. The venue didn't start letting us in until 945p and the show didn't start until 1030p. Our server was a huge let down. We had been seated for a good 15 mins before she was able to come to the table and take our drink order. Drinks took a while, but that's to be expected with the number of folks being taken care of. However, the biggest issue is that our server didn't stop back to our table until halfway through the show. At which point , I asked her for two waters. She walked by our table six times, but never did bring our waters. I grabbed her and asked again for waters. No less than 15 minutes went by and she came to the table, no waters in hand, but said "it's last call. Do you guys need anything?". To which I replied, no thanks. I wasn't asking a third time for something I had originally asked for an hour earlier. Maybe she was new or having an off night but it definitely has a negative impact on our overall experience. The highlight of the show was Godfrey, himself. He was absolutely hysterical and we enjoyed every minute of his set.

I…read moreappreciate the size of the room, as it's not too big and not too small, so it still feels pretty intimate no matter where you sit. This time around I got to sit in the very front, which was a super immersive experience & I was quite grateful for that! For the most part, I enjoy Pittsburgh Improv, just not the way they operate. My bag was not checked when I walked in, and they do not have metal detectors. Obviously I wouldn't bring a weapon inside, but it just worries me that they don't have this kind of security. Tickets themselves are not cheap, which okay, it's for a neat experience so I can see past that a little bit. I just strongly dislike that they require you to purchase at least two items. I don't think it's right to force people to spend even more money. I ordered a ginger beer, and it was most definitely just sprite & ginger ale mixed together--I could tell by the fountain beverage taste, and flavor profiles of the two sodas. I did not like that either. If you're really itching to see a certain comedian, it's a decent experience and they would make it easier to see past some things. Still unsure if I'd come back again honestly.

It's even better now that there is a bar with lots of good options. Last night we saw the 50th anniversary of the Rocky Horror Picture Show which was tons of fun and even made better that they gave you a bag of props to use during the movie. We have also come for Christmas movies like White Christmas and Christmas Vacation and one of my all time favorites Empire Records. It's such a charming theater with great people.

I came to the Oaks to see a comedian. The main reason I…read moregave a three star rating is the seats. They are on the small side and are very uncomfortable if you are a plus size person. My husband had to wedge himself in and barely fit in the seat. When he asked if there were other options, he was told we could sit in the table seating in the back, but we had purchased VIP to sit up close, so he decided to just be a bit uncomfortable rather than be at the back of the theater. I know theaters have tight space and other considerations, but considering they were remodeled not all that long ago, I was surprised about the seat size. The bathroom situation is also a bit of an issue. You need to go downstairs and the set up is a bit strange. There aren't many stalls, and the layout makes it awkward for getting in and out, especially if there is a line. All that being said, it is a lovely theater with friendly staff and fairly affordable concessions. I just wish the seating was more comfortable.

For my first ever visit and show at the CLO, this was a great experience!…read more Walking into the theatre you immediately notice the intimate size room. Definitely big enough for a large group of tables, but close enough to the stage that you never feel like you have a bad seat in the house. The menu includes themed drinks and a range of food choices which you can order prior to showtime. The staff is friendly and attentive to the tables through the first part of the show. The show itself was exciting and tongue in cheek at times. The Altar Boyz brought energy and comedy to the room and kept everyone engaged - even bringing up an audience member for one of the numbers! Great reminder for me to never sit in the front! Haha I can't wait to come back to see another show soon! Thanks to Rachel and the CLO for another great event!

I…read morereally like the set up with the tables, reminds me a little of the Improv design, except those tables were entirely too small for four people to actually eat at, so good thing we were just nibbling on the yummy Yelp snacks. I can't say enough about the show we saw, Judge Jackie Justice. I would go see this show again in the future it was that good and the CLO seemed to accommodate the backdrop for the show perfectly. The staff seemed very professional but also extremely on the slow side. We ordered some drinks right when we got there and we were 30 minutes early for the show. Well the drinks showed up about two minutes before the show and not all at the same time. I got mine while my H was still waiting for his. 30 minutes is really excessive to wait for a drink, and they weren't cheap so please don't make me wait so long to wet my whistle. Continued with the slower service the waiters waited until the end to hand out checks. I guess this was ok, but it seems like they should have handed those out 15-20 minutes before the show was over so people could square up and leave when the show was over, not wait for 15-20 minutes more to give your check with payment to the server so they can charge you. We thought we could go out to the bar and pay there. Well we were wrong. I actually ended up ordering another drink finished it and paid for that one at the bar before our waiter came to collect our tab. I think in the future my best bet maybe to just pay cash or order at the bar to begin with. Otherwise loved the place and look forward to coming back to see another great show!

They had live music, farm activities, and a lot of stuff for kids to see. There is a big slide area which my son loved. There is also a second slide behind the building where there is outdoor seating. It was a nice area that allowed parents to eat while the kids continued to play. We all split a bunch of the food options. We had the whole chicken, ribs, cabbage and noodles, Mac and cheese, and potato salad. Everything was delicious. You can tell it is all homemade. The ribs were my favorite. The meat was so tender, it fell off the bone. The bbq sauce was also delicious. The cabbage and noodles were also really good. Before leaving we got some of their ice cream. I had the chocolate peanut butter and it was amazing. It had so many peanut butter pieces and the chocolate flavor was perfect. We also took a gallon of their fresh chocolate milk to go, which did not last long at our house. Highly recommend stopping here, especially for those with kids.
