For my first ever visit and show at the CLO, this was a great experience!…read more Walking into the theatre you immediately notice the intimate size room. Definitely big enough for a large group of tables, but close enough to the stage that you never feel like you have a bad seat in the house. The menu includes themed drinks and a range of food choices which you can order prior to showtime. The staff is friendly and attentive to the tables through the first part of the show. The show itself was exciting and tongue in cheek at times. The Altar Boyz brought energy and comedy to the room and kept everyone engaged - even bringing up an audience member for one of the numbers! Great reminder for me to never sit in the front! Haha I can't wait to come back to see another show soon! Thanks to Rachel and the CLO for another great event!

We visited the CLO for the first time this last week. I was very impressed with the facilities. I…read morereally like the set up with the tables, reminds me a little of the Improv design, except those tables were entirely too small for four people to actually eat at, so good thing we were just nibbling on the yummy Yelp snacks. I can't say enough about the show we saw, Judge Jackie Justice. I would go see this show again in the future it was that good and the CLO seemed to accommodate the backdrop for the show perfectly. The staff seemed very professional but also extremely on the slow side. We ordered some drinks right when we got there and we were 30 minutes early for the show. Well the drinks showed up about two minutes before the show and not all at the same time. I got mine while my H was still waiting for his. 30 minutes is really excessive to wait for a drink, and they weren't cheap so please don't make me wait so long to wet my whistle. Continued with the slower service the waiters waited until the end to hand out checks. I guess this was ok, but it seems like they should have handed those out 15-20 minutes before the show was over so people could square up and leave when the show was over, not wait for 15-20 minutes more to give your check with payment to the server so they can charge you. We thought we could go out to the bar and pay there. Well we were wrong. I actually ended up ordering another drink finished it and paid for that one at the bar before our waiter came to collect our tab. I think in the future my best bet maybe to just pay cash or order at the bar to begin with. Otherwise loved the place and look forward to coming back to see another great show!

The lobby is small but packed with photos and memorabilia, which is a fun touch while you're waiting. Inside, the auditorium is spacious with solid sightlines--nice views of the stage from most seats. However the show started late - well over an hour. The doors opened behind schedule so everyone ended up waiting outside in the snow MUCH longer than expected. Also worth noting, there was only one exit door after the show, which made leaving take forever. Strong start--drinks came out quickly and the staff was friendly. That momentum didn't quite last. We asked for water twice and never received it... and to add a little comedy of its own, we watched our server deliver two waters to people who hadn't ordered them ‍. Godfrey was the highlight of the night and absolutely crushed it. Had the crowd in tears from start to finish and his Trump impersonation might be the best I've heard yet--spot-on and hysterical. Would return for the right comedian. But I'd most likely catch them at another venue. Do better, improv.

We came to town for the annual RV show and wanted to make the most of our time in Homestead. Being…read morehuge fans of live entertainment, we decided to buy tickets to see Godfrey perform. We opted for the 930p show so that we could do dinner nearby, beforehand. The tickets said doors open at 915p for the 930p show. After we found parking (a lot of congestion and limited parking nearby the venue), we made our way to the theatre where a line was already forming. The venue didn't start letting us in until 945p and the show didn't start until 1030p. Our server was a huge let down. We had been seated for a good 15 mins before she was able to come to the table and take our drink order. Drinks took a while, but that's to be expected with the number of folks being taken care of. However, the biggest issue is that our server didn't stop back to our table until halfway through the show. At which point , I asked her for two waters. She walked by our table six times, but never did bring our waters. I grabbed her and asked again for waters. No less than 15 minutes went by and she came to the table, no waters in hand, but said "it's last call. Do you guys need anything?". To which I replied, no thanks. I wasn't asking a third time for something I had originally asked for an hour earlier. Maybe she was new or having an off night but it definitely has a negative impact on our overall experience. The highlight of the show was Godfrey, himself. He was absolutely hysterical and we enjoyed every minute of his set.

You only get searched if the detector goes off. Just don't bring in anything you shouldn't and you will be good to go. There is typically a gift shop right at the entrance. For The Nutcracker, they have it very organized. I have been in and out of the line very quickly. There are so many restrooms throughout the Benedum. I found the largest ones to be on the basement level and the 2nd floor where the large bar is. Bar- drink prices are really not outrageous. I typically get prosecco. They pour it in a plastic cup with a lid so you can take it to your seat with you. Lastly- all the seats Ive sat in are amazing. The Benedum is such a great venue to see a show. I highly recommend it. I will be back for sure!
