It is designed for those 13+, but they do have a family friendly show once a month. Because the theater is so small, there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Every show I've ever attended here has been fantastic. So many neat tricks and illusions. Some literal jaw dropping because what they just did was beyond belief. This is a great place for a unique date night. Definitely check it out even if you don't think magic is your thing. You might be pleasantly surprised.

We are able to learn so much in just 4 weeks and it is such a safe space to practice getting out of one's comfort zone. The instructors are all great! They primarily focus on long form but do also have short form classes too. They periodically host jams and shows as well. They typically do try it out classes beforehand as well for a low stakes way to see if its something you want to jump into!

I came to the Oaks to see a comedian. The main reason I…read moregave a three star rating is the seats. They are on the small side and are very uncomfortable if you are a plus size person. My husband had to wedge himself in and barely fit in the seat. When he asked if there were other options, he was told we could sit in the table seating in the back, but we had purchased VIP to sit up close, so he decided to just be a bit uncomfortable rather than be at the back of the theater. I know theaters have tight space and other considerations, but considering they were remodeled not all that long ago, I was surprised about the seat size. The bathroom situation is also a bit of an issue. You need to go downstairs and the set up is a bit strange. There aren't many stalls, and the layout makes it awkward for getting in and out, especially if there is a line. All that being said, it is a lovely theater with friendly staff and fairly affordable concessions. I just wish the seating was more comfortable.

It's even better now that there is a bar with lots of good options. Last night we saw the 50th anniversary of the Rocky Horror Picture Show which was tons of fun and even made better that they gave you a bag of props to use during the movie. We have also come for Christmas movies like White Christmas and Christmas Vacation and one of my all time favorites Empire Records. It's such a charming theater with great people.

Definitely big enough for a large group of tables, but close enough to the stage that you never feel like you have a bad seat in the house. The menu includes themed drinks and a range of food choices which you can order prior to showtime. The staff is friendly and attentive to the tables through the first part of the show. The show itself was exciting and tongue in cheek at times. The Altar Boyz brought energy and comedy to the room and kept everyone engaged - even bringing up an audience member for one of the numbers! I can't say enough about the show we saw, Judge Jackie Justice. I would go see this show again in the future it was that good and the CLO seemed to accommodate the backdrop for the show perfectly. The staff seemed very professional but also extremely on the slow side. We ordered some drinks right when we got there and we were 30 minutes early for the show. Well the drinks showed up about two minutes before the show and not all at the same time. I got mine while my H was still waiting for his. 30 minutes is really excessive to wait for a drink, and they weren't cheap so please don't make me wait so long to wet my whistle. Continued with the slower service the waiters waited until the end to hand out checks. I guess this was ok, but it seems like they should have handed those out 15-20 minutes before the show was over so people could square up and leave when the show was over, not wait for 15-20 minutes more to give your check with payment to the server so they can charge you. We thought we could go out to the bar and pay there. Well we were wrong. I actually ended up ordering another drink finished it and paid for that one at the bar before our waiter came to collect our tab. I think in the future my best bet maybe to just pay cash or order at the bar to begin with. Otherwise loved the place and look forward to coming back to see another great show!

I was at The Comedy Bar at Remo's Saturday June 6 to see a rising comedian I've been following…read morethrough reels for a couple years, Yaqiao Yang and to watch her evolution in the last year has been impressive. She's a good soul with a quick mind and was well-prepared for her show in Western PA. Before she took the stage the Club presented three performers who were also on their game. The club itself also was a friendly place to visit and it was nice to have interesting food items to reach the two-item minimum. I had not heard of the venue until I saw Ms. Yang was performing and was glad to be able to see her locally. It was pretty easy to reach and the parking was adequate and the local environment was safe. Looking forward to future visits at The Comedy Bar.
