Between the two of us, we could only get through about half of one and maybe a third of the other before it just wasn't worth trying to eat anymore. I mentioned it to our waitress in a calm, straightforward way and told her both sandwiches were inedible. She did offer to have them remade, but after seeing what came out the first time, we declined. I don't recall receiving an apology, which was disappointing. What really stood out was that the issue was never addressed beyond that--no follow-up, no adjustment to the bill, nothing. I didn't ask for anything to be taken off, but when a significant portion of the meal can't be eaten, you'd expect some effort to make it right. Coming from someone who works in customer service, this felt like a miss on both food quality and basic service recovery.
