I am basing this review over my experience with customer service, atmosphere, and food choices. My experience with the customer service at Handle Bar was great. The waitress was quick with bringing new drinks out and she kept checking to make sure everything was going good. The food came out within 15 minutes and the whole experience was fast. The atmosphere was a warm style. Darker orange color surrounds the wall covered in beer signs. For a bar and grill, they could use better and bigger tvs but the experience of a game wasn't compromised. The workers wear black and it keeps the place looking dark but with a warm color scheme making it feel like an enjoyable place to enjoy a great meal. The Menu at Handle Bar is a smaller menu. There is a choice of 10 main entrees that includes a choice of 2 sides and toast. They also have a large selection of 8 burgers and 13 sandwiches. Overall, i would recommend this restaurant to someone looking to have a good bar style meal or dink in the environment that is cool and home worthy.

I went a Sunday night, around…read more9.30 p.m. I am going to base my opinion on three criteria: service, quality and price of the food, and the environment. I am going to start with the environment because it's the first thing you notice when you walk in. The lights give you a warm welcome to the restaurant. The vibes that the restaurant spread change your mood. The environment stimulates you it does not matter if you are tired, angry or just stressed, all that goes away the moment you walk in. Also, Applebee's has a Karaoke night every Sunday, which is another highlight of its atmosphere. The food price is another feature of this place. They have affordable prices and the quantity of food you get is satisfactory. I got the Oriental Chicken Salad with Krispy chicken. It was a mix of flavors in my mouth. Without a doubt one of the best salads that I've ever had. As well, Applebee's has deals in some dishes, you can get two for 20,25 or 30 dollars. Also, you can have half-price appetizers every day past 9 p.m. on weekdays and past 10 p.m. on weekends. I tried the mozzarella sticks and believe me, they were exquisite, I loved the texture and the sauce goes perfect with them. The service I got was coherent with the fact that the restaurant was packed. The waiter took care of my order as soon as he could, and he apologized for the wait. Even though he was checking on me while I was waiting for my order I did not feel overwhelmed. Overall, Applebee's is a restaurant that you must try if you are in Great Bend. It has cheap prices, tasty food, and the environment makes you want to come back. Without a shadow of a doubt, I would recommend Applebee's.

Flavor was missing on everything. The frozen dessert contained zero dairy. There was one beef dish and I used the term beef loosely. Not even the Coca-Cola was good. I had very low expectations going in, I really didn't think it could get worse than it was. Our server was nice, but never refilled our drinks or checked on us once. We arrived at 11:30 on a Sunday, several of the entrees were empty and when I asked when they would be replenished, the server told me she wasn't sure if they would... Very odd considering they don't close until 8 PM and the lunch rush had barely started. When I went to pay the ticket, the cashier asked me how everything was. I said not great and she said OK. Your total is $42. $42 for two adults and two sodas.., barely worth two dollars. I did leave a $5 tip but only because I felt bad for the "server."

The restaurant is a casual quick service restaurant. The service was quick and the entrees were fresh. The fried rice was basic, and pretty flavorless. The Rangoon was nothing to phone home about but it was decent enough for fast food Chinese. The Boba is really where it is at. The walls are a little dark inside so the ambience for lunch was more of dinner setting but still nice. Several people were in the restaurant as well as getting to go orders. Seemed like a pretty popular place. I am a sushi person and opted for that rather than other menu items. I ordered the spring rolls, dragon roll, and eel cucumber roll. The spring rolls were okay but they weren't my favorite choice and I wouldn't really get them again unless I just wanted that fried, crispy crunch. The dragon roll and the eel cucumber roll were nice. They were flavorful, well done, and the eel cucumber roll was crunchy as it should be. I would go back again to try more of their selection. Enjoy!
