Appetizers were great! Recommend the Crab Rangoon and Pot stickers, just wish they would have came out warm. We also ordered the Chicken jalapeño delight and Beef Szechuan, it was just average and they both came out cool? Service was slow and restaurant was not busy. We really like going here when we are in Great Bend! Thai is not our usual choice, but even my picky husband eats it up! This last time around, he and another friend ordered their dishes hot, and they were both impressed with the heat of the food - one of them even had to take off his glasses to wipe his eyes We were cracking up. And these are guys that love spicy food, so that's always a huge win for us. It's a simple place, but unique, and we have such a good time there with friends. Service is friendly and easygoing. P.S. Amazing!!! I love Thai food and this place is a Diamond in the rough. We had a party of 10 and service was both quick and fantastic. Not to be outdone, the food also had something to say to us tonight... which was "you should have ordered spice level 1!" Honestly, I ordered a spice level 2, wanting a mild evening (I love it spicy!) and it was still packing a kick and was one of the best chicken red curries I've had in ages!!! The firecracker shrimp was fantastic and I'll order again! We also had crab rangoons which were great! And the shrimp spring rolls which were also amazing! They are way too expensive and the portions are so small. The thai tea is so awesome. They also need to get better quality meats, the meats they use are very rubbery and idk why. The chicken is chewy and just none of the other meats are good except the imitation seafood They use. I enjoyed the soups but yet again, just not enough for the price. The appetizers are great especially the golden shrimp wraps but yet again, oddly expensive. I miss Lings Classic inn food it was the best fit for this area. The chicken wings were fabulous and affordable!!!!! The meats were high quality and at the best price In Town!!!! These people have ruined what has been like most new businesses in this area are doing. Once I get the capital and investors I will bring food back to great bend for good!!!!!! I had iced tea and pho noodle soup. While the tea was ok, the soup was just a bit less than mediocre. It was generous with the noodles but there was no onions, mint or fish sauce to accompany it as I usually get at other Pho Restaurants. The purpose of my post is to warn customers to ask for a receipt for their meal. We were told to pay at the register when we were finished even though we stated that each of us were going to pay separately and nothing was mentioned then that it would all be taken care of then. When I was told the total of my order, it didn't seem right. It seems to be a bit over what I had mentally calculated. So, I asked for a receipt. There was a bit of confusion since I asked for this and I wasn't going to step aside until I had this resolved. Once a receipt was printed out, an apology ensued as I was, somehow, overcharged $2. So, yea, it was just $2 but does this happen often? Heads up and ask for a receipt. read more

My family and I are traveling from Texas and stopped in for lunch and the food was outstanding!! We are avid Thai lovers and eat it at least once a week. Who would have thought we'd find good (and spicy) Thai in the middle of Kansas?! The service was great, the portions are perfect and very affordable. We were just passing through town and stumbled across this amazing place. We'll call it travel magic. We've traveled all over the United States. Hands down this is the BEST Thai food I have ever had... anywhere! The spring rolls were made so fresh that the shrimp were still warm! They had the perfect balance of herbs. My boyfriend has spent an extensive amount of time in Thailand and he remarked that the papaya salad was the best he had eaten outside of Thailand! Thanks so much for an amazing meal! Family owned and super clean, authentic Thai restaurant!! This little town has a better Thai restaurant than many large cities I've been to. The portions are large and the spice level is on point. All dishes were flavorful and well executed. The service was excellent and fast! In case of uncertainty, the pad Thai is wonderful. The cucumber salad was a great addition as a side. Our first time here. My wife had the cashew chicken. It wasn't breaded. Just the way I prefer. Delicious. Came with wonton soup, my favorite and didn't disappoint. Also with egg roll. Small egg rolls. Many places call those spring rolls. Fried with very thin skin. Very tasty. Came with an orange dipping sauce. I had the vegetables lunch with chicken. A little bland but very tasty. We both ordered mild spices. My wife's spice was just right. It's been my experience in the past at Thai places that if spice is rated 1-5, I best get the 1 or it's really spicy. 5 is inedible. I prefer spicy as a tule so draw your own conclusion. We will be back. Next time we both get the cashew chicken. Mostly because the vegetables are more to my liking than the vegetables in the vegetables lunch. More onion and green peppers. And more spice. I suspect the cook failed to give me mild spice in my vegetables selection and gave me no spice instead. Price and service were great. Not crowded, even at noon. I hope they make it work. read more

Best Asian themed food in Kansas IMHO. I've been eating there since they opened the original restaurant in downtown Great Bend back in the 80s. A big bowl of their hot and sour soup with a side of fried wontons made for a terrific lunch! Everything is good at this restaurant, whether it is a KC Strip or Kung Pao Chicken! read more

Visited this place with my three kids and brother cause we were wanting to try something new. Sad to say was highly unimpressed. Prices were insanely high for the minimal portions given, my oldest ordered a coke and was given a Dr. Pepper. We asked for it to be fixed and was told "she can deal with it." I ordered the general sao chicken and it was insanely salty and tough. My brother ordered sweet and sour chicken and was only given six (6) pieces of chicken. There were derogatory comments made towards my children and myself by the staff and other "guests", so needless to say we will not be back. I honestly do not reccomend this place, well only if you like highway robbery, still being hungry when you leave and depression. read more

I ordered the Salmon Maranade with broccoli, and the Salmon came to my table BONE DRY. I tried fixing it with melted butter and It was just horrible. I mean, it was DARK pink overcooked. Probably not going to come back. read more
