And after the bill came, we waited quite a while for our waitress to pick it up before we gave up and went to the cash register to pay. Regarding the food, the salsa had great texture, not chunky and not too runny but a nice slurry. However, it would have been greatly improved with cilantro. The chips were fine, a little greasy and a bit broken up, but they hit the spot. House margaritas were yummy. For entrees we ordered the pork fajitas and the El Dinner. It had a chalupa, a taco, an enchilada, a burrito, a tamale, a chili relleno, beans and rice. The fajitas were a major disappointment. Bland. A total lack of flavor. That never happens with fajitas, right? Did they forget the salt? The seasonings? The beans were great. The rice was fluffy. But the fajitas were so bland nothing could make up for it. I used all the salsa we had left to try and give them something. My partner thought the El Dinner was OK. Filling and decent. We will definitely try somewhere else if we return to Great Bend.
