A very 'homey' spot in a very cute town. Saw their billboard as we were exiting to see the World's Largest Czech Egg. We were hungry, so worked out perfect. The young adults were working their tails off, it was busy with locals and tourists alike! My pork tenderloin sandwich was delish, with freshly griddled bread. My mom got a cheeseburger and we shared some tater tots. It was all hot and fresh! Our malts were tasty, too - although I did order butterscotch and wasn't totally convinced they forgot the butterscotch! Still good though. Quaint burger place with fast service, good food, and good prices. Worth the quick detour off of I70 to the town of Wilson KS.

Fun little place to grab a cheeseburger as you drive across Kansas. The cheeseburger and tots were a step up from the fast food you will find at truck stops closer to I70. Nothing fancy but a good grilled burger made the old fashioned way. Friendly smiles as you order. read more

It's a mile off the highway and worth a visit. Go past the snack shack and see the world's biggest Czech Egg and then have a meal here. Looks like a family owned business with a lot of local customers. We had the fried chicken sandwich with fries and the grilled chicken sandwich. Both were lovingly made and very tasty. They gave us a lot of customization choices like grilled onions versus raw onions etc. Fries were awesome and the ketchup tasted homemade. Very friendly and welcoming crew, didn't make us feel out of place. read more

One of the easiest five stars I've ever given. My meal was ready in around five minutes, and drink came out even sooner. I got a delicious cherry limeade, and the other reviews are right about the fried mushrooms--amazing flavor, and the ranch is the best I've tasted. Midwest does it right, I guess (I'm from Delaware, for context). BLT was served hot, which pairs so well with the cool tomato and mayo on it. They did not skimp on the bacon. Cute local place on I70. A very quaint bare bones burger joint. The staff is very friendly and the prices are great. If you want a triple cheeseburger, just ask. They have no problem making one. The onion rings were tasty and the corn balls (creamed sweet corn ball deep fried) were bomb. Sweet little nuggets of joy. read more

This was a LOVELY stop on our drive towards the west coast. Very nice staff and very quick service. It honestly made me feel like I was back home... my mom making her famous meatloaf... I can hear the grill cooking... curled up with a good book. No worries in the world! (Other than the 6 hour drive ahead of us to get to Boulder). Traveling through Kansas and needed a quick stop for dinner. We got there about 20min before they closed. Staff was helpful and friendly in helping decide what to eat. Food was delicious and kids loved their milkshakes. They recommended we try the poppers, we ordered the steak poppers but they accidentally started cooking the jalapeño ones. I offered to pay for both but they insisted I keep them no charge to compare which was better, I liked the steak my wife preferred the jalapeno so you can't lose with either. Overall great food, great experience, definitely worth checking out and I'll be back next time I'm in the area read more

Staff was rude as soon as we walked into the restaurant. There is no clear parking area. A worker Cindy (maybe Sydnee) was rude and unwelcoming making us very uncomfortable. We lover to support small businesses but will never stop here again. read more

Whether you're just pasting through or live near by this is a stop worth making. We got a cherry limeade, 2 cheeseburgers, and fried mushrooms with ranch. The ranch was probably the best ranch I've ever had. It's not thick and over saturated with salt and didn't make me feel weird. The fried mushrooms...give these a minute or 2 to cool down because they're made to order they come out PIPING HOT. Once they've cooled to a temperature that's tolerant enough (sorry I know you're hungry but the wait is worth it) you'll be biting into a perfectly crispy but juice bite size snack. Dip them in ranch. Just do it!! The breading was perfect. It didn't crumble and fall over despite the juice of the mushrooms. The cherry limeade. I'm not a fan of these types of drinks but if I ever crave one I know where to go. The perfect balance. I gotta ask, is the beef locally sourced? My first bite and I thought about the cute and plump meat cows and prayed to God thanking him for those cows because they taste so delicious. I don't think I'll ever eat a fast food burger again unless it's from Snack Shack. The burger patty was not a gross size that when you look at it you think twice. In fact the patty itself was a healthy portion and SEASONED. I could eat the burger without all the dressings and still be satisfied. PS the layout of the lot is amazing. It creates a flow. Get in, get out quick and easy. And there is a drive through which is great because we had our pup with us and didn't want to leave him in the car to dine inside. We stumbled upon this place in Wilson while looking for shops to go to and hopefully some fresh eggs too. Cute little place inside and out! Love the little Czech designs on the front. The staff is nice. The inside is clean, well-lit and plenty of seating. The fried mushrooms are so good! The ranch is a bit watery, wish it was a bit thicker. The blt is good, although I think it was odd that they put it on a hamburger bun and they forgot my cheese but, eh... that's okay. Not a big deal :-) And I got excited when I found out they have fried chicken livers. They're huge! Which takes longer to fry which does dry them out a bit, sadly. They're still amazing and I LOVE their seasoning on them also. Still, it's a cute place, good food. Maybe smile a bit and chat to your customers. read more

Clean, fast, great taste, ketchup was kept cool and not setting out. Ranch was creamy and delicious, so creamy a breaded mushroom will sit on top and not sink to the bottom, not watered down. Friendly staff. I almost ordered more to take home. They accept Credit cards ( MasterCard, Discover, Visa) No restroom. Hamburger patties are thin about the size of a McDonald's hamburger. read more
