Traveling across the country and please just stop and come and eat. We both had mashed potatoes, slaw, corn and FRESH Fried Chicken like grandma made. It was Awesome. Service FANTASTIC. Just eat here and enjoy.

Delicious stop after a long travel day located in the basement of the Historic Midland Railroad Hotel. The homemade bread was warm, the salad was delightful, and the house made chips were incredible. I enjoyed the chicken fried steak for dinner while sitting at the bar.

Quite the find!!! We were just passing through on our way to see the solar eclipse on Aug 21st. My husband booked rooms in the Midland Railroad Hotel, and this restaurant just happened to be part of the hotel. First off, the hotel is quite an experience in itself, and I would highly recommend staying here. The restaurant was in the basement of the hotel. The restaurant itself had a cozy unique feel with a finely carved wooden bar on one end of the room. We found a good spot to sit, and were immediately welcomed by the waitress. Food was good, not a disappointment in the least, with fresh salad and ribeye steaks that were grilled well. Bread was ok but not especially impactful. After dinner, we sat out on the patio that apparently had not been overlooked in the gardening aspect. It was peaceful and relaxing. Overall a highly enjoyable experience.

Outstanding martini, great steak, excellent cajun chicken pasta and fabulous service. What more could you ask for?

Bella Sol Bistro - Monte Cristo

Bella Sol Bistro

The menu at Bella Sol Bistro is crazy diverse. Some would say a little too much so. You've got…read moreItalian (spaghetti pomodoro and fettuccini Alfredo) and Mexican (birria tacos) and Korean (Asian crispy pork belly) and Mexican-Korean (bulgogi beef tacos) and British (fish and chips) and Southern (shrimp and grits) and American (burgers and steak). Aghhhhh! It's a lot. I spent a lot of time just staring at the menu, trying to figure out what I wanted. I landed on the Korean Tacos, which is marinated beef bulgogi, red peppers, scallions, peanuts, wontons and gochujang sauce, all in soft flour tortillas. You get two tacos in each order. They were good but very sweet! I wasn't a fan of the flour tortilla. The people at my table ordered a couple of appetizers -- one of which I loved. The fried burrata was a big ball of cheese hanging out in a dish of vodka sauce, topped with cashew pesto, parm and served with crostini. It was lovely, and I wish I would have just ordered this and ate it all myself. We sat outside on the outdoor patio, which I would not recommend during the summer. There were so many flies! The restaurant did have some fan-things they put on the tables to shoo the flies away, but they only did so much. Next time, I think I'll just sit inside.

Very good food with great customer service. But everything is made to order so be patient. Our…read moreparty of 9 took an hour to get and out, but it was worth it. Sit back, relax and have a drink while you wait. It's worth the drive to spend a day in Lindsborg.
