Bar is populated with regulars, a decent number of open tables for the rest of us. Everyone is super friendly and service is quick because it seems like anyone and everyone of the staff picks up orders at the window to get it to you hot. We started with Ty Webb Tots -- tots and jalapenos wrapped in bacon and cheese. Highly addictive -- so good! Next, we shared a pork tenderloin sandwich, because those things are huge! Our server even split the sandwich for us and served it up on two plates! Trust me, that was a welcome anomaly! Drinks are "spirit forward" as my son likes to say, and delicious. The size of the restaurant seems a little smaller than the L street location, too. That may be a psychosomatic thing when trying a different location of a place you know, but I definitely felt more cramped. The food is on par with the OG spot, so no complaints there.
