Online reviews from google show their good side but you have to read further back and on other sites to find the, true colors, poor reviews. Genesis responded to my inquiry for a basement finishing job ( framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall to paint ready, install a full bath, 1 office and 1 bedroom and completion with ready to paint drywall and no flooring). Work was set to begin in April 2025 but was 3 weeks late due to Genesis being behind on 2 other jobs as I was told. My wife and I were told MANY TIMES, this job was going to be done before our first son was to arrive end of May 2025 but the job was not completed with paint ready drywall with the until September 2025. I was accompanied by Mark for the final walkthrough before any work was scheduled to begin and we adjusted a few items. Later I found out that the changes were only written in his notepad and were not known about until a month later when the bathroom shower (that was changed for the contractor to supply). I had to spend $2k spontaneously to purchase a shower insert that still took 2 weeks to arrive and blamed for the delay. I was later asked for more money after giving them 1/2 deposit of total job with not even full framing done due to the delay " I caused". The subcontractors this company uses are subpar, very dirty, unprofessional, lack any care for the homes that are not their own. They used my homes facilities, pissed all over the floors multiple times, left construction debris, trash, and cigarette buts all over my lawn which killed sections of my yard not to mention the amount of times we cleaned up the street of debris left by everyone over and over. Before what was supposed to be the "final inspection" I was again sent repeated invoices for a job that was not completed. The framers got defensive once confronted about their work when there was issues present. I doubt if they did repairs to their own homes the job would be right the first time. Many times repairs had to be redone including the cutting for an egress window that had to be pulled out and recut/ framed 3 times from my homes foundation due to either being too small or not framed/ installed right. No dust mitigation was done and my houses smoke alarms were going off and the people are asking my wife how to turn them off. The barely any English speaking crew asked my wife how the window had to be installed like they were clueless as to how they just pulled the window out again. Bathroom was mis-framed, a column was supposed to be in a wall but is not, We asked for some type of dust/ dirt mitigation (expecting that regardless there would be some due to the work done) but there was none done and only a sheet of plastic put up after repeatedly telling them to do something. Debris was left all over my basement while work was done and the first inspector said this was a disaster of a job site. Once my son was born I found out my house failed what was supposed to be the "final inspection" and I was again sent repeated invoices for a job that was not completed. Genesis is quick to request money for work that isn't completed. I have supplies that I can not return due to their delays, a basement that still requires more work after they stated they were done, additional damages to my home that were not compensated for. The owner never responded to any of my messages, the project manager was apologetic and just repeated it'll be 2 weeks, as my house was his first basement job. I waited 2 weeks with no response from the owner and they put a lean on the house that was removed after much back and forth about compensation and final payment. What was promised as a 3-4 week job, per the owner, took 5 months, more of my own money lost on continuous repairs and supplies unused and unreturnable, a home that is not still not able to be done after my son turned 7 months due to their mistakes, lack of communication, poor planning. My home was never a priority but a filler job. I found posts about Genesis dropping what they had going on todo other work for someone getting their house ready to sell. There is many more issues that I can't list here. I personally regret reaching out to their company if I really knew how they treated really treat their customers.

They not only found the usual rot issues, but figured out why the back of home was always cold in the winter and hot in the summer. You guessed it...the builders did not insulate the ceilings in the back of home. Not only does our new bathroom look great but it is much warmer. Mark, Travis, Kayleigh, and Kim from the Genesis team were all very helpful and professional. The Genesis team was always prompt about answering any text or phone calls regarding the project and tried to keep on top of their subcontractors which is not a minor feet these days. I would also like to thank Mr. Berrera and Able which were two of the sub contractors. They did excellent detailed worked on everything they touched and were very courteous and helpful.

The provia windows we selected are beautiful but the craftsmanship of the trim work done by the Peak crew is amazing. Peak also came out for a flashing repair on one of the windows that Pella installed five years ago. Prices were very fair for the quality of work! Peak will be our first call for all future exterior work!

I selected to go with this company because not only were they willing to help me deal with my homeowners insurance (Which wasn't much help) they also gave me multiple options to choose from so I could determine what I was willing to pay out of pocket. The others all just immediately went for complete roof repairs instead of looking deeper at my issues and my wants. They thoroughly explained each option along with the pro's and con's of each and did not try to persuade me either way which I enjoyed. Once I made my selection they kept me up to date on the supplies and when they would arrive as well as scheduling me as soon as possible as it is hurricane system and lets face it... it will continue to rain and could get worse. Overall, an enjoyable experience and I will be recommending this company to all my neighbors in my community.

There was a serious problem with the front door to my unit and swing-patio doors that open on to my side terrace. Over several decades the original doors had rotted and warped, water was leaking into my unit, destroying the hardwood floor near the side door and tiles near the front door, and creating a health hazard. An engineer friend of mine recommended 'Roofing & More.' I called them and from the outset dealt with courteous professionals who made clear they were committed to solving my problem expeditiously. Promptly they sent two experts to my house who skillfully assessed the problem. They spent considerable time with me explaining what needed to be done, thoroughly answering all my questions in terms a lay person could readily understand. Later they sent an expert to take exact measurements. In short order they wrote a detailed proposal breaking down the costs--to replace the front door and its frame and replace the 3 panels of the swing-patio doors on the side of my unit. The detailed proposal contained exact costs for the materials and the charge for installing the replacements. We agreed on the reasonable terms. They quickly ordered the replacement doors crafted to the exact dimensions required. When the replacement doors were finished they promptly scheduled the date for installation. In setting that date they were exceptionally accommodating of my busy schedule. On installation day, their team arrived exactly at the start time. They carried out the work of removing the old front door and old side swing patio doors with great skill. They installed the new replacements with professional care. The crafted replacements fit perfectly. They devoted time to testing the frames and threshold seals they installed ensuring they were watertight. They replaced the part of my hardwood floor that had been damaged by water coming through the old doors. The team did their tasks with consummate professionalism. Sheets of plastic they installed kept dust out of my home as they replaced the doors. They removed every scrap of packaging and any other debris resulting from the installation. They demonstrated to me the action of the new doors and it was clear that the installation was perfect. The workers on the team were obviously experts at their craft. The supervisor was friendly and the entire team was courteous and worked together admirably. The removal of the old components and installation of the new doors was completed in 5 hours. It was impressive. I had an expert engineer/architect look at the work the next day and he described it as outstanding. Given the high quality of the work, the total cost was reasonable. The crew at Pure did an incredible job. Excellent assessment, great help with the insurance company, terrific customer service at each step. Multiple visits and consultations to work out the tricky parts. And when it came to the day of the work, they showed up with 15 guys at 5:30am and had it done by 1:00pm -- it was amazing to watch. Absolute hustle. Everything was immaculate after, including dragging all of the nearby turf and access points with magnets to collect any loose nails. Great service throughout. I am not in the habit of writing glowing reviews but I gotta say, these folks did an amazing job. I'll hire them again when my house needs a new roof.

My rental property in Alexandria got hit with back-to-back storms, and my tenant texted that a man named Jesse knocked on the door to offer free roof inspection services. Yes, someone knocking on the door usually raises a flag for me, but I checked out their website and thought, "Why not?" Within a week, Jesse met with an inspector from my insurance company (USAA), and Jennifer from the office sent the proposal to them. Billy (company owner) and I met online to get all the contract details in order, Melissa coordinated a date with my tenant, and when the day came, the Pure Roofing Team replaced the roof in one day. The tenant reported that the roof looks fantastic and that the clean-up was impeccable. The team made everything so seamless and easy; the hardest thing I had to do was pick out the tile color. Their quality work just upped the value of my property, and the best part: I only had to pay the deductible! But in July 2025, the roof started leaking again. Since the roof and they work they did had a warantee, we called ASA to come repair. Twice, they scheduled with us to inspect, and never showed up. They finally did after weeks of numerous calls, voicemails and emails. However -- we never heard back from the inspection, and now, in September 2025 (months later) we had a big leak again. We emailed them to come back out and to hear the results of the July inspection, no answer yet (two days later). Not a great experience with ASA. I'll update this review if the company responds and promptly resolves the issue.

Kevin came out and did the inspection. Then sat with me on the phone call with the Insurance company to place claim for wind damage. Kevin came back when the insurance inspector came out, and instead of just a repair Kevin was able to get whole roof replacement approved. They were very professsional with the actual job and got it all finished in the time they said they would. I am set with a peace of mind about my roof for many years to come. Crystal was able to get me an appointment within a few days. Tony came out and completed the roof inspection and even took pictures to show us the condition our roof was in. He was honest and let us know we should replace our roof sooner rather than later. He said our roof would hold up a little longer but it would be better to be proactive and get a new roof soon. He provided me a couple quotes for two different types of shingles. We waited for the weather to cool down some to replace our roof and reached out to Water Shield in September. We had a hard time deciding on a color so they dropped samples off for us to help us with our decision . We had to get approval for a color change through our HOA and they assisted us through this process as well. We are very happy with the quality of work and our roof looks great. Thanks Tony!

Tony has completed 3 projects on my home: roof, gutters, and now siding. He did a great job on the roof and gutters hence why I used him for my siding, but the siding has some issues which need to be addressed. I recommended Tony highly to neighbors who have used him and have given him a lot of business, now that I need him to come back to discuss some of the concerns I have he is not responding to my texts, calls, or emails. I am very concerned of this lack of communication and for this reason along with the issues I am facing with the recent siding job I cannot recommend him. I signed a contract stating there is a 10-year Labor Warranty stating " This warranty guarantees that your siding has been installed with the utmost of care and for 10-yrs if there is any siding installment issue doe to craftsmanship by Water Shield LLC, the siding issue will be rectified with the labor free of charge to homeowner". I plan to utilize legal services to ensure this binding contract is followed.
