We learned about the caves and how they were formed, proper gear and safety procedures, navigation in the caves, and ways to help fellow team members in the cave. We turned out our head lamps and experienced total darkness. Lester did a great job of breaking it down and making everything understandable to our younger scouts. This is worth the cost and is affordable for what you experience. Warning: this is not a tourist cave with lights and massive groups walking around, this is an amazing underground event, crawling, squeezing through tight spaces, pulling yourself and team over ledges and walls. He taught us how to safely spot or catch someone in front of us if they're falling back, he taught us the different whistle signals used, and how to use a compass! I had no idea that I didn't even know how to use a compass in the first place. Once he navigated us about halfway to our ending point, he had one of us navigate the rest of the way using the cave map and our compass, and then had us switch on the way back (there were 2 of us). We had never caved before, but he saw that we are the active type, so he not only led us horizontally through spaces, but we also got to go vertical and climb up and down spaces. I couldn't stop raving about our experience afterwards. This tops the list of most exciting things I've ever done, and most unique as well because I can't say I know anyone else who has ever done caving. On our way home, we stopped by Luray Caverns and it was really cool walking through with newfound appreciation. We were able to point out things and appreciate how it was formed in ways we never would have beforehand. The only issue is we wished we could have strayed off the beaten path and explore more nooks and crannies the public doesn't get to see! If you're questioning whether to book a tour with Wild Guyde, I would without a doubt recommend it. If you think you might get claustrophic, I had the same fear going into this, but the cave is very open and even when you're crawling you still have plenty space around you that you don't feel trapped. Plus, you don't have to do anything you don't want to or feel comfortable with! I promise you won't regret it.

I didn't know what to expect or how it works. As you walked in, there a waiting area on the right, a host on your left, fill a small questionnaire using a QR code. Once completed, you will be taken to a room of your selected escape, the host will explain the rules and you watch a short video then taken to your designated room which you have 60 mins to complete. It was a fun and mindful experience in which everyone should try it. Our host was Rocket, she was friendly, humorous, patient and knowledgeable. It is a great place to bring your entire family. The restrooms weren't clean by comparison to the actual jump area. For a jump park, it was okay. The price was average, and it accomplished the goal of making my boys tired enough that they napped on the car ride home. It's a solid 3 1/2 stars compared to other parks we've been to.

So almost a decade. Since I had been here. There has been so many additions and improvements to this waterpark. I love that they are putting an edit into improving the park. Every time we come, we never pay for the waterpark because we attend the seminar for the timeshares and they give us free passes! I love that I am now able to pass this tradition on to my children.

My suggestion is go early - ride the lazy river and whatever you really want to ride. This place fills up quickly. If you have little kids I'm sure they would have a blast. However our older kids got bored quickly and literally said - this is it?? The lazy river is small The outside water slides are very simplistic and can get huge lines. The wave park is small there's no other word here to even begin to describe it. The one flow rider that they have - the two guys running it let a person on and gave them all sorts of time if they liked the person. 4 people were in front of my kids and it took more than 45 min for them to get a turn. So not worth the wait. Granted we have been to Hershey Park water park which is about 10x+ bigger than this waterpark. We also are close to Kalahari and Great Wolf both of which have larger water parks than this place. Overall review 2.5 stars - again little kids would probably have a great time. Older kids not so much. However the price tag just isn't worth what you get. Beware they are adding on an adult only area. Looks to be more hotel than waterpark.

I've never been horse riding at an open stable and this made me feel so alive and one with the horses the way I always wanted! Being able to get hugs, holds, pets, and a ride with the horses was truly life giving and I hope to come back with another group! If we lived closer one of the girls wanted to volunteer--that's just how much we felt great about your stable. Seeing the peacocks made me so happy and meeting a roaming turkey was quite fun. What an unforgettable experience! We booked this horseback ride thinking it would just be a…read morebeautiful ride through nature, but it became one of the most special days of our lives. The horses were gentle, well cared for, and perfectly matched to Us. Our guide, Ella, was absolutely incredible. She made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived and took excellent care of us throughout the entire experience. Along the trail, we stopped to watch several deer, which was such a peaceful and magical moment. Then came the biggest surprise--we arrived at a beautifully decorated table that had been set up for our engagement. It was absolutely perfect, and everything was arranged so thoughtfully. It couldn't have been a more romantic setting to propose. A huge thank you to Lisa and her Team for helping make our engagement so memorable. I made sure to read the map, I was happy it's a loop trail, I changed my shoes and I started up the log steps. I surely don't like log steps but they weren't so bad today. There's a rock scramble that pops up fairly early in the hike. Don't worry, you can still hike it and opt out of the rock scramble since it's round trip. I opted to do the scramble 1st, then walk the easy way back to the parking lot. The rock scramble was actually very challenging. A couple times I had to put my back against a rock wall to try to scooch up to get a foothold. Then kick off with my ther foot to propell forward and grab a handhold. I had to butt slide a couple times to move around and position myself better. I wasnt the only one. After i found a top rock to eat my PBjelly, I heard a couple people heaving and grunting, tying to maneuver the scramble. Made me feel better. :) I sat for a long while taking in this 360* panoramic view! -This hike is great but be careful. You can easily slip or miss you hold and fall. There's no net. Go slow. Be safe. Take in the view.

I would not use this stable again…read more Cons: It appears there are too many horses on the property in that the pastures are over grazed and full of weeds. The round bale quality is poor. They place the round bales same place year after. This causesmold and muck to build up around the feeders. Horses here receive inconsistent care, it appeared that it depended on whom what's feeding. There were days where it seemed the horse was rode without permission, saddle marks and perspiration when the horse hadn't been ridden by the owners for months. If you board here be prepared for everything you own be covered in dust. The big barn attached to the indoor is hardly watered and the aisle-ways are loose dirt. Pros: Plenty of trails. The other boarders are generally nice and welcoming. The town of Luray is nice quiet town to visit with a couple of good restaurants and breweries.
