The price was totally reasonable for what you are getting, and for the level of expertise you are dealing with, especially considering that your life is on the line. I have wanted to go skydiving for SO LONG and I'm so glad this was the place we chose. The day started off with us getting there and having some time to kill before our dive took off. They have cool old couches, chairs, and benches that we were all able to hang out on and even pass out on for a few minutes here and there. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because we had to wait for about 3 hours before our jump happened. That being said the wait was worth it, so I consider it a 4.5 star rating! We jumped Tandem, which meant we had a professional strapped on to our backs. My guy, Kevin, had been jumping since 1987. It should be noted that the first thing Kevin said to me was, "I will just say this: I don't buy dinner, and I don't give reach-arounds" This man knew the way to my heart. He was awesome :-) I do wish he let me steer a little bit, and pull the rip chord, because apparently some of my other friends in the jump got to do that, but that is totally small beans. The drop lasted 47 seconds, and I went up to 124mph. The descent was about 5 minutes. All-in-all, the 2.5 hour drive to Laurel, Delaware was 100% worth it. Delmarva was an outstanding company, and totally my recommendation of where to go for skydiving :-)

Planned my return jump the instant I jumped out of the plane the first time. What a rush!

I only did it because I'm competitive and I'm no punk! Registration was easy -- I did it onsite with no issues. Once you pay, you sign a waiver and you're off. There really isn't a training session. They just tell you a few do's and dont's, give you your harness and that's it. One would think it would be a bit more considering you're literally gambling with your life. So, at 12,000 feet, it's a little chilly up there lol. I kept my eyes closed for the first few seconds. I tried not to look around lol. I will say that I will never jump out of a plane -- willingly-- again. It's an experience for sure. If you're in the need for a thrill, this is it!

I did not want to pass on the opportunity to cross off an bucket list activity. I met my instructor Jahn and he was nice and I felt comfortable. He helped me into the gear and gave me some instructions to follow during the jump. The actual jumping out of a plane was better than I thought. Jahn did some spin things on the way down that I just loved!! He was also the photographer and videographer. I got the video and picture package which was a cool addition to the experience. It's like your own personal highlight reel. I do recommend and I would jump again!!! ***Corporate pls add some type of wipes(sanitation) to the gear station. My family had been to their location in Queens, New York before, and it was nice to see the consistent quality of service that they had at this location. Everyone had to start out with a brief training to make sure we were on the same page with the safety guidelines. Mike was fantastic as our instructor, even making our youngest kid in our party with sensory issues feel safe! He even suggested rubber ear plugs instead of the foam ones, since they were smaller and would secure a little bit more comfortably mid-flight. Once we got going, he guided us through a number of different skydiving techniques, including turning, lifting ourselves up, and controlling ourselves to lower back down. It was a wonderful experience for everyone. In fact, it made me and my family want to do indoor skydiving again for additional training!

He had no care whatsoever in expression nor how the customer felt. I have a fear of heights I asked could I sample a flight and if I didn't like it my s/o completes it he said no. I said well do you have trial flights he said unfortunately no. I'm like we've spent nearly $400 bucks and there's nothing you can do to accommodate someone like me. Long story short I stayed in the ground no trial flight no nothing for someone trying to get over and conquer a fear. Don't buy the media package the equipment must be antiquated. Like Mike Tyson in his prime era type equipment. I had better footage and pics from my phone thru the glass with tons of reflections and light glares from the arcade than the 2 pics and 2 video clips they took. Looks vintage in 2024

Skydive OC was superb in every part of my experience. Their staff are extremely competent, informative, and caring-- from check in/information session/training with their young staff to being in the air and the conclusion getting picked up from the field! Staff we interacted with and all were AMAZING: Janice, Natalie, Chase, Hayden, and Kalay, plus a few others! When signing up, the staff noticed it was my birthday and added little party emoji to my name on the display and sang to me on the plane. A bunch of them checked in with me to wish me a happy day! What I appreciated most was how they simultneously hype you up while making sure you're highly educated on all necessaey steps and precautions. I felt super confident in the process. The staff adapted every step so you're comfortable as possible, going so far as to modify the straps so I was never too tight when I didn't need to be, allowing me to breathe easy. I don't mean to generalize when I say "everyone is great" but really, truly EVERYONE WAS FREAKING AMAZING! Their staff are skilled, trained professionals through and through! Special shout out to Chase for being fun to chat with! I'm so stoked to learn that this is a family owned, Asian-American owned business! y'all rock! I had the…read moreutter privilege of jumping with none other than the legendary "Pancake", who very nonchalantly told me that he has made more than 20,000 such iconic falls! This was my first attempt and I think it was good for a height-phobic person like me to not have the option of standing on a separate ledge and deliberately jump. In the plane here, you kind of just tip over the edge, and that has to be initiated (thankfully) by your tandem instructor. Those 60 seconds of free falling were the longest of my life, I couldn't wait for the parachute to open. My heart was in my throat, I was wriggling like a cockroach, and I couldn't breathe because of the air pressure assaulting my face. CAUTION TO THOSE WITH PELVIC PAIN: as soon as the parachute opens, the pelvic harness tightens up considerably as you're basically vertical, being completely supported by the harness. You're "hanging by a thread (aka harness)". Think about how that would affect you during and after the activity, since I was in pain hanging vertically in the air. It made it tough to enjoy the slow gliding in such a beautiful weather. Pancake advised that I try and reposition myself so as to almost sit within the harness but I couldn't manage that. The staff is nothing but incredible, they ensure as much safety as possible, and the environment is so Hollywood-y with these sporty gals and guys preparing to jump one after the other from the plane. You can't help but feel the thrill of being surrounded by adventurers. I would like the option of a face shield and/or helmet for tandem jumpers like us so we can enjoy that free fall sensation without struggling to breathe. Also the videography package is worth it!

Flying the actual plane was such an amazing experience. It felt scarier than skydiving to me. The instructor let's you fly for about 20-30 minutes and then he takes you down to the location. He also lands the plane. It apparently gets added to your flight hours if you were planning on becoming licensed. This is a once in a lifetime experience that I high encourage you try.
