Do you have a handgun range? Hours? Costs?

Hi James, Thanks for the inquiry. Currently we are shotguns and sporting clays only.

This place is basically an adult playground in the best way. They have everything here, including…read moresurprisingly great food. My wife brought me to GUNTRY for my birthday, and it was an awesome experience from start to finish. We kicked things off with a simulation session, which was so cool. I am already planning to do it again. The shock pack that zaps you when you get hit is wild. It is a little crazy, but honestly really fun to try. We spent an hour at the range afterward. It is definitely loud and a bit tight, but it gets the job done. The staff was friendly, patient, and very helpful the whole time. The retail shop is huge too, with tons of firearms and accessories to browse. We ended the night at their cigar and whisky event, and that was a great time. The whisky was strong and plentiful, and dinner was delicious. It was all catered in house by the cafe. Pricing is pretty reasonable overall. Their lesson rates seem lower than a lot of other places I have seen, although I have not had a chance to take one yet. My only complaint is that I wish it were closer. I live in DC, so it is definitely a trek, but it was worth the drive.

I'm looking forward to continuing my training journey with Guntry to improve my firearm skills and confidence.

I love shooting but it's an extremely expensive hobby. You cannot get around it, and all you can do…read moreis find a place that is well maintained, that makes you feel safe and operates seamlessly! Well, Cindy's Hot Shots is the place! My friend who strives to become more proficient with her Sig .380, scheduled a range date and I was thoroughly impressed with Cindy's. There was a small wait, but just like at restaurants, they took her cell number and texted her when they were ready for us. As far as the indoor ranges go that I've patronized in the past, this one is state of the art. Very easy to change target distances, which made our shooting experience the best it could be. Cindy's sells everthing from firearms to gun oil. Definitely a one stop shop! I look forwad to our next range date as long as it's to Cindy's!!

I purchased a P365 .380 Rose Sig Sauer (girly, but will still put in that work!) two years ago, and…read moresince then, I have fell in love with the gun range. My big bro was my instructor that taught me all about proper fire arm safety and handling. Since I have had my license, I try to frequent the range as much as I can. Cindy's is clean and quite large. The staff are professional and helpful. They sell everything from ammo, various firearms, etc. On the weekends, they can be very busy; however, if you're a member, you can call beforehand and get on the waiting list. Definitely my go-to range and I'll continue patronizing as long as service remains the same!

Then they closed down the rifle range, right after upgrading it with new cement pads, baffle system, and pathways. The shotgun area was in need of cleanup and repair. I was told (by the forest workers there) it was going to all be reopened after repairs were completed. That was 3 years ago. Recently the same workers told me it was probably not going to reopened because of money issues? Maryland government officials should be ashamed.

All they did was close it off over 1 year ago and it has sat untouched ever since. I mean c'mon they won't even let a group of volunteers pitch in for all the materials and labor and fix it for free (just to get it done some time this millennium), but they will let it sit there and rot? hell, I'm even an engineer, spent my life on a thousand ranges, worked construction my whole career and still I'm not allowed to pay for the materials and use a volunteer group to repair it? This whole thing stinks of politics. Can't we keep the politics out of some things? My kids loved to learn gun safety and shoot at that range. How far are these democrats going to push us? I need all the Faith and Flag Conservatives who enjoy their 2nd amendment rights to help out here. Lets stop all the Dems BS! Help me organize a group of volunteers and petition city hall for immediate permission to get that range going again?..(for starters). If you think you would like to help and or you are politically savvy and know the right people to contact regarding this high jacking of our 2nd amendment rights or would just prefer to donate your time in labor or financial donations, please contact me via email.
