I've played both courses and they are both always in great shape. The river course is my favorite of the pair and presents a great challenge and scenic views. Staff is always friendly. Everyone from the proshop, bar, Marshalls, and golf cart crew. On hot days they pass out ice cold towels and will happily fill your water bottle with ice water.

So glad that I came and look forward to other dining festivities that may be held. Please give the director all the kudos possible. Two times can easily be three/ late evening 4/5p serving...for Thanksgiving I'd def come back. It was so well organized cannot wait to share with coworkers and other friends in the area. * ample food selection * attentive staff * every time I saw a drop food on the floor or table, when I looked again it was gone - GIVE THE SERVERS A PRIZE PLEASE * check in was well paced, allowed tables to slowly begin getting food, I came at 10:45a for the 11a seating * anytime a dish was running low, I saw it being replaced. * none of the stations were ever unmanned * available condiments for every food, thank you. I even saw hot sauce!! * the tablecloths and decorations were done so well, please give the person who decorated kudos...the eggs with candy on the tables really showed yall care!! * I appreciated the stations for dirty dishes placed on the side, at doors. I used them several times to place our tables dirty plates. * servers were always walking around either cleaning helping replenish or simply moving along. No one was ever just standing around. * appreciated the music selection, and the volume was PERFECT...low enough to hear but not drown out voice conversations. * perfect LIGHTING too, no weird artificial lights, loved the setting VERY well done. SO well organized. I don't drink so I hope the bar was just as well done. I needed ice and the bartenders were very helpful. * they could use more dishes/plateware & silverware, logistics issue :) ...at least 3x I had to get a plate from the omelette station :( 10/10 experience overall!!! Thank you for holding this and please commend the staff - so professional!!! I loved the "Kent Island Resort Easter Brunch" Best, TLW

We had originally planned our stay around a free event that was supposed to take place while we were there. The event was cancelled after we booked. We decided to keep our reservation anyway. Unfortunately there is not a lot to do on a cold day in March in Kent Island. The grounds are beautiful. It's a lovely wedding venue. The bocce court was missing the white ball and there were only 3 horseshoes at the horseshoe pits. My one friend had to call service because their tv and phone didn't work and the their main lightbulb blew later that evening. My other friend had to change rooms because theirs had a steep set of stairs leading down to their bathroom. None of our other rooms had a strange bathroom like this and it wasn't mentioned when we booked. A "resort fee" was brought up when we arrived. They told us the changed systems which for some reason threw off the billing as most of our payment info didn't match. We had dinner at 18Twenty. It was just okay. My husband's lobster was raw. The chef apologized and they removed it from our bill. Again, great customer service. I want to point out the go as it's a nice place but it was very expensive and we had some issues. We wondered if the place was under new management and going through some growing pains. There's definitely potential here but it needs some work.

The rooms are clean and quiet. Bedding and baths are clean. No odors and no evidence of a previous stay. The grounds are really nice -- offering views of Haven Harbour Swann Creek and their Marina. What's really nice is the accommodations are far enough away from the Marina that you can't hear any boats or machinery -- just an occasional seagull and maybe some geese. They also have firepits, gazebos and bicycles as well as walking paths -- very nice. The rooms come with a "continental" breakfast including toasts, muffins, juices, coffees, cereals, yogurts, etc with a buffet style hot plate - differing from day to day - sometimes sausage, quiches, or scrambled eggs. You can tell these dishes are locally prepared as they are delicious without any signs of mass processed food. This extra - in my opinion - makes Haven Harbour's hospitality quite notable. The staff can't do enough to help. They are kind and a pleasure to work with. And, there's not a lot of hustle and bustle by staff members -- it's really quite quiet and very nice. They absolutely respect your choice to stay with them.

We were given a free king suite upgrade due to it being a mid week stay so check in staff were great I would not expect that on a weekend stay. I drove an hour for the chocolate expo, paid almost $25 for a ticket, only to go in there to see that every chocolate purchase you might want to make is averaging out to be $12 or more, next to no samples on any of the products, and the celebrity meet and greets they advertise don't mention that you have to pay an extra $40-$60 to even go meet them. Which is a real shame because I was very excited to meet the cast of Willy Wonka. That's one of my favorite movies, and the main reason I drove down here. Only to find myself feeling really bad that most of them were just sitting there looking at the crowd with no line because I'm sure many, like myself, weren't expecting to pay an extra fee on top of what you already paid to get into the expo. I felt so bad for them. Just a bummer. I'm probably just going to try and find something to do around the area before I go home so I can at least get my drives worth. Genuinely though it could be user error. I guess if there was any fine print, I didn't see it. Make sure you read it if it's there before you make a purchase for one of the expos here.

My wife and I were just married and decided to honeymoon in Turks and Caicos. A friend recommended…read moreWindsong so we booked a weeklong stay. We were incredibly excited to spend our once in a life time honeymoon in such a beautiful place, but felt underwhelmed and honestly disappointed with the whole experience. Renovations: We knew this time of year would be slower (October 2025) and that's okay. What we didn't know was that 2/3 of the resort would be closed for renovations. I understand facilities will eventually need work and slow season would be the time to do it, but there was no communication about it until we were already there. Had we known we probably would've chosen a different resort. Thursday and Fridays morning we were woken up due to construction noises. NOT the kind of thing you'd expect at a place like this. Staff: Some of the staff was friendly; I would say most. Johnny the bartender was awesome. There were a few encounters however where staff didn't seem to care and they never once apologized for 2/3 of the resort being closed or offered anything to make up for it--a complimentary bottle of wine, a coupon to use at the spa, etc. I'm not looking for handouts, but after working in hospitality for over a decade I know you want your guests to feel welcome; especially on special occasions, such as this. Over the course of a week, only once were we greeted at the beach by a waitress to ask us if we wanted anything to drink or eat. I found this odd because you would think during a slow season it would be the opposite. I always tip at least 20% so it wouldn't have been the staff avoiding us due to not tipping. There is no Uber or Lyft so you have to call taxis to go everywhere if you don't rent a car. The concierge was helpful here and every time they got a taxi booked quickly, which was appreciated. Upon checking out I noticed there was a charge for a bottle of wine we did not consume. When I mentioned it I was told by the manager she would not be removing the charge and just walked away. I was honestly shocked. I was surprised by this treatment after every other place we had been to in Turks had the most friendly and kind people. I would suggest a different resort based on this alone. Facilities: Everyone was crammed into one corner of the resort because everything as closed. They played the same song on repeat all week. I'm not even exaggerating here. The same song on repeat all week. The beach was beautiful and our room was gorgeous. The AC worked very well and we slept like a rock when not being woken up by construction. The main pool was drained for work so they told us to use the 2 swim out pools attached to the first floor rooms patios. It felt uncomfortable swimming here and like we were intruding on the privacy of the people who booked those rooms. I feel bad for those who did book those rooms expecting a somewhat private swim out pool. Food: All the food was great. The food in Turks & Caicos was remarkable and better than we expected. Overall it looks like Windsong has the potential to be a great place to vacation, but for us it did not live up to expectations. There are so many options for tropical destinations and resorts that you should not settle for anything less than amazing, and unfortunately Windsong was not that. Save yourself a potential let down and stay somewhere else.
