A great activity for the novice and advanced skydiver we brought down kids for a mentorship program and they all enjoyed it. It's located in a semi industrial area. The lot is large and had able parking for the bus we drove down in. We pre registered and filled out the waivers online so the check in process went smoothly. Just had to weigh in for safely. I assume there may be a weight limit bit I didn't inquire since I made the cut. For this visit they provided a STEM class for the kids to teach them a little about the physics involved in the process. It was a nice way to add a little learning into the fun times. The. We received our safety instructions and watch's a brief video. After that we were outfitted with our flight suits and safety goggles. You must remove all jewelry and loose items before you fly. They do provide lockers for you to use. We had a few non flyers in our group so they watched everyone's belongings. Then we got to fly. For this package we only had 1 minute each. It sounds like a short time but when you are in there it feels much longer. It's definitely and interesting activity and out of the ordinary. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a great kid friendly activity.

I took my husband for his birthday today and he flew with my son and his sister. It was so fun and everyone was great there. I think my favorite part was watching the guys who worked there fly and do tricks. It's such fun. Just do it! Pay for the extra height btw which is not very high.

The only reason I would rate a three star is because the actual fly experience. One thing I didn't like is they tell you to arrive 10 minutes early, that's wild! Once you go in, you're sitting and waiting around for a good hour before you can even fly. You go in and two flights are not you can come back and fly again two flights meanings how many time you get to fly. I'm not sure of how they calculate the time but you're only in there for 30 seconds to a minute and 30 seconds each time. The add on rate is for everything and I hate it. You have to pay a $20 extra fee for a half flight when they take you above 14 feet in the air and you only get it for one flight unless you do the two high flights for 30 days that they have going right now. Secondly I think it should be better. Explain with the flights are on the website. It could've been there, but I didn't see it. Overall, the flying process was amazing the sitting and waiting around will have you angry because they don't tell you how long you have to wait. So for instance, if the party in front of you has 10 flyers and each flyer has four flights you may be waiting for an hour or not an hour and a half before you can even go. It's unbelievable. How much waiting you're doing in here. Between actual instruction time and flying time, I'll say it's a 20 minute experience but you're in there for almost 2 hours waiting for your turn. Last thing of advice do not expect clear pictures and video footage. It would have been nice if someone I took with me could have taken pictures or video granted they give you a nice video in the email and you have to download and save everything which was an inconvenience, but I think that everything was blurry if you're paying for $25 for pictures and things of that nature you at least want them to be clear. Over All You're Paying For Building Maintenance Everything Else Seems Like They're Taxing!!!!!

Kim and Wayne were über helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. They provided amazing customer service and really fun experience for us. My kids and I can't wait to come back for more flights. What a fun activity, and I highly recommend the Montgomery location. We loved it!

For me it's the outstanding customer service. I love how they take cleaning seriously and are very thorough with it. My helmet smelled like lysol and I was happy. The staff was super friendly and it contributed to the great time we had. It was clean, professionally run, and well worth the experience! I highly recommend this location!

11/5/22 This past weekend on 10/29/22, I took a drive around Rockville Maryland to see what has changed around the area. I came across the Ifly I had seen from the highway. I started thinking about how this cod be fun for my wife and I. Then I thought about taking a friend with us as well. Upon entering the building I saw a couple getting information and getting tickets to go indoor skydiving by an associate. There was another associate there, she completely ignored me and anyone else who was there while I was there. Granted there were signs giving off most questions I had, but the fact that she did not even acknowledge me or anyone else set the tone for me. The cost for two people to go skydiving 2 times each for beginners is $84 each. This has to be done on the same day no matter how big the group is. The cost quickly goes up to about $349 or higher depending how many jumps you might want. Now, if you wish to be lifted higher into the air, this might cost more money because you are leaving the beginners ranks. I don't know the pricing on this. The location was set up for Halloween and besides the creepy spiders and ghosts we are suppose to be scared of, the areas looked well maintained including the unisex bathroom on the first floor. Nevertheless, since the tone was already set by Ms. Desagradable, it didn't much matter what the prices were. I would like to think the guy for answering additional questions, but I don't see us coming back to this location.

Flying in the wind tunnel

While on a family trip to Maryland a group of us went to iFly. I had done this before at the San Francisco location but no one else in our group had. Daniel was our instructor and he did a great job of getting us prepped and ready for our flight and ensured that we had some fun flying while we were in the wind tunnel. We all did the high flying option and that was well worth it. This is loads of fun and you will definitely have a good time.

So. Much. Fun!!!! My dad gave me the gift of four 1-minute flights for my birthday and it was one of the best gifts I've ever received. Michael was our instructor for the day and he was absolutely AWESOME! He was so energetic and so excited, and his energy was contagious. After watching the training video, he did a quick recap and gave us the run down on what to expect, and then we were on our way to the wind tunnel. He did an absolutely fantastic job of reading each of the members in our group and tailoring their flights to each person's level of excitement/apprehension. Michael actually suggested that I consolidate my four jumps to three 80 second jumps instead, so that I could have longer flights and do more stuff. Definitely a good idea. The high flight was AMAZING!!!!! Super fun. Highly recommend. During your flight, they take pics and video, which are surprisingly affordable (about $5 and $8 bucks respectively). Totally worth the money. The wind tunnel is clear, so if you've got someone watching you jump, they can also snap pics and video for you. Downstairs, there is a small gift shop with all kinds of affordable iFLY gear: keychains, t-shirts, hoodies, water bottles, hair ties, etc. As someone who has done both indoor and outdoor skydiving, I really enjoyed this experience. It's all the fun of flight without watching an altimeter, packing a parachute, remembering how to breathe if the air gets sucked out of your lungs, or otherwise worrying about dying. Win-Win-Win-Win! Pro-Tips: -Each "flight" is a one-minute session in the wind tunnel, and your flights are only good for the present session (so you can't "bank" your present flights to use at a future session). -Pay the extra 10 bucks for the high flight. Do it. DO. IT. -Definitely recommend stretching before you come in for your session. -This is a SUPER EASY and fun activity that is good for a wide variety of ages.

Amazing experience. While it doesn't have quite the adrenaline of outdoor skydiving, it offers a similar enough vibe to where it's super enjoyable. The crew on hand were very friendly and helpful. Lots of bang for your buck. Shout-out to Ethan, my instructor who was super slick in the wind tunnel and a chillaxed dude to hang out with

Prices equate to $35-45 per minute of flight. My son had fun, but I don't think we would come back.

My friend and I came here and we filled out all our consent forms and gave them the Groupon code. Then they took us to the back and explained everything to us. In the plane, you basically sit shotgun while the experienced professional flies the plane into the air to a safe altitude and then they give you control. Flying the actual plane was such an amazing experience. It felt scarier than skydiving to me. The instructor let's you fly for about 20-30 minutes and then he takes you down to the location. He also lands the plane. It apparently gets added to your flight hours if you were planning on becoming licensed. This is a once in a lifetime experience that I high encourage you try. I don't regret it in the slightest and the staff here make you feel safe.

I highly recommend Dream Flight School if you're looking to obtain your PPL or IFR certificate. The planes used are clean and well maintained, some are even being updated with the newest technology. Additionally KDMW Airport is clean, and the Skytech staff are friendly. It's always nice to have the people fueling your planes encourage your progress -- just adds to the overall experience at Dream Flight School!

BLUF: a great time, and well run…read more Went with a large group on a Saturday. When you first arrive you have to do a waiver and get weighed (can't fly over 300 lbs, and maybe can't fly if b/w 260 and 300. This is where the most annoying parts of the visit was for me. There are bunch of touchscreens in the check in area, and they could just have you go there and check in. But instead you have to scan a QR code on your phone and do it online. Makes no sense, especially since you have to watch a safety video, which you are now doing on a tiny phone, and there are about 5 others walking around you doing the same. Once you check in you get a wristband and go upstairs. Once upstairs there are lockers to store your stuff. Then you get a jumpsuit, goggles and helmet and they guide you through fitting the helmet. Then you meet your "guide" for the session, and he/she brings you into another room, where the second annoying thing happens. You watch the SAME safety video again. Then the guide goes through it again in person. Frankly, the guide's in-person spiel was the best and they could have ditched the other 2. Once you get in it's a great time. The key is to RELAX. If you are tense, it is a lot harder to get stable, and if you're not stable you will waste some of your precious 90 seconds of flight time while the guide tries to stabilize you. The last downside, it is PRICEY. Groups can get discounts and party packages, but it's never cheap. Definitely a once-in-a-while thing unless you have a lot of disposable income. Would I go back? Definitely, but only once in a while and ready to drop some serious $$.

Thanks Willis! You can easily spend a lot of money here. Go for it. Purchase the go higher option…read more Have a friend take pictures/videos as theirs is only ok. No complaints would do it again. They go weigh you upon entry lol no worries as no one can see you. Makes sense do the instructor know how much find force to use.

My family had been to their location in Queens, New York before, and it was nice to see the consistent quality of service that they had at this location. Everyone had to start out with a brief training to make sure we were on the same page with the safety guidelines. Mike was fantastic as our instructor, even making our youngest kid in our party with sensory issues feel safe! He even suggested rubber ear plugs instead of the foam ones, since they were smaller and would secure a little bit more comfortably mid-flight. Once we got going, he guided us through a number of different skydiving techniques, including turning, lifting ourselves up, and controlling ourselves to lower back down. It was a wonderful experience for everyone. In fact, it made me and my family want to do indoor skydiving again for additional training!

Alex the instructor great very personable knowledgeable and good at what he does. Kyle the manager needs a little more oil to rub customers the right way. I said well do you have trial flights he said unfortunately no. I'm like we've spent nearly $400 bucks and there's nothing you can do to accommodate someone like me. Long story short I stayed in the ground no trial flight no nothing for someone trying to get over and conquer a fear. Don't buy the media package the equipment must be antiquated. Like Mike Tyson in his prime era type equipment. I had better footage and pics from my phone thru the glass with tons of reflections and light glares from the arcade than the 2 pics and 2 video clips they took. Looks vintage in 2024
