Now I have kiddos who keep asking whether we can go again. Just bought tickets to see the Snow Man and the Snow Dog show for the holidays and looking forward to it. Update: Snow Man and the Snow Dog was not loved by the kids (3 year old and 5 year old), personally I felt it was really boring too. High production value but just not captivating enough. My kid loved the original video but couldn't wait for the play to end.

Here is what you need to know: + Garage parking is free on Sundays + Tickets are sent electronically along with a helpful email and storybook pdf that helps prepare young children on what to expect when they go to the theatre + The theatre is truly intimate -- there is not a bad seat in the house (Trust me -- we were last row, on the side of the stage and still had a great view!) + Children's shows can be quite corny and cut corners when it terms to production value but not at Imagination Stage. I was really impressed by the quality of acting and the set of "Dory Fantasmagory." + They offer lots of free programming such as "Meet the Cast", family yoga, and a children's fashion show to go with the play. I went with a group of children ages 4 - 11 and they had everyone entertained. Seeing everyone's faces light up and laughing out loud has truly filled my cup of cuteness for the entire week. Thanks again Imagination Stage. Can't wait to visit again!

You do think for a minute the amount of time they give isn't enough, but I guarantee you it is! Not only were there happy faces the entire time they were in the activity rooms but in the food rooms as well. The happiness just didn't stop! What a joyous and fun occasion, that certainly was made more so by the staff at the establishment. Highly recommend for your next child event, and I look forward to bringing my family back, thanks, Sharka and team!!

They've gotten stronger and enjoy seeing the same kids each week in the class. Both kids like to talk about how they're able to do things now that they weren't when they first started so I think it's been great for their self esteem. Since Covid we can't watch the class anymore but what I do see is still great. The teachers have them doing different obstacle courses in small groups and then is running around the whole time making sure each kid can do whatever they're working on. I can't say enough good things about these classes.

The instructors (Chris and the two Seans) teach a very modern approach to BJJ. Instead of just showing a position, practicing it a few times, and then sparring, they have us play games to really drill in the position and how it connects to the overall picture. I have found this style to be extremely beneficial as a beginner who is still trying to understand the fundamentals. One of my favorite things about the gym is the strong sense of community. On Thursdays we go out to a Mexican restaurant after class and travel to other gyms. Whether you are new to BJJ or have been practicing for a while you'll be sure to find an awesome community and phenomenal training here at Groundworks. OSS!

Everyone was super friendly, welcoming and more than willing to teach me some new tricks. The gym owners themselves were very warm-hearted people and offered to roll with me as well which was tremendously helpful. Facilities were super clean and plenty of mat space for a bit crew to roll. Would give this place an 11 out of 10 and recommend to anyone looking for a place to train while visiting DC or even begin their jiu jitsu journey.

So many more games to play, even has a small trampoline area, and such good fun for kids. Its really aimed for birthday parties, which we had for my girl and close to 20 kids in the party. There were two or three other group birthday parties and didn't feel too overcrowded. There are three packages to choose from and I picked the Mega Fun ($30.99 per kid). Unlimited play, pizza, dippin dots, juice, and the kids had a blast. The trampoline was extra ($8 pp, so I didn't do that, but paid out of pocket for my girl to go on it). No one wanted to leave after our two hour window was up. FYI, long lines to redeem tickets, so I would do it 15 minutes before the party ends. The party was was setup so Chuck E Cheese dance party and photos were done all together with the other groups, so that part was a big chaotic. Our host/server was great though. Their pizzas are surprisingly good. I mean who would have said that right? Thin and crispy. I also ordered wings for the parents plus three pizzas (two is more than enough). Solid pick for kids birthday parties!

Chuck E Cheese stole the show with his high fives and dance moves and totally amped up the energy! It was not overly crowded despite it being a rainy day. Food and cake got the job done - drinks were watered down and flat. Overall, great to see kids having fun at an "old fashioned" arcade where kids can still be kids.
