I was really impressed by the quality of acting and the set of "Dory Fantasmagory." + They offer lots of free programming such as "Meet the Cast", family yoga, and a children's fashion show to go with the play. I went with a group of children ages 4 - 11 and they had everyone entertained. Seeing everyone's faces light up and laughing out loud has truly filled my cup of cuteness for the entire week. All of the parent attendees also really enjoyed that the instructors facilitated the play portion of the party - in many of these types of places, you (as a parent) end up spending the whole time running around after your kid. At this party, the kids had a great time and the parents had some time to chat and participate as much as we wanted to. And the instructors were great! They've gotten stronger and enjoy seeing the same kids each week in the class. Both kids like to talk about how they're able to do things now that they weren't when they first started so I think it's been great for their self esteem. Since Covid we can't watch the class anymore but what I do see is still great. The teachers have them doing different obstacle courses in small groups and then is running around the whole time making sure each kid can do whatever they're working on. Staff was great - super helpful, patient, and ensuring everyone had fun. The pizza was pretty good and they had a number of other food options as well. We might add this to the rotation to help get through the winter months.

The instructors (Chris and the two Seans) teach a very modern approach to BJJ. Instead of just showing a position, practicing it a few times, and then sparring, they have us play games to really drill in the position and how it connects to the overall picture. I have found this style to be extremely beneficial as a beginner who is still trying to understand the fundamentals. One of my favorite things about the gym is the strong sense of community. On Thursdays we go out to a Mexican restaurant after class and travel to other gyms. No one wanted to leave after our two hour window was up. FYI, long lines to redeem tickets, so I would do it 15 minutes before the party ends. The party was was setup so Chuck E Cheese dance party and photos were done all together with the other groups, so that part was a big chaotic. Our host/server was great though.
