At 8 AM the following day, I received a voicemail, an email, and a text message from the company stating that they were closed Monday and I should not have been allowed to make a reservation via their own website,. Obviously there would be a full refund, and they were very apologetic. I never received the refund and contacted them twice more during the next six days. Today I received an email from Benjamin. Tiederman stating that I would only be refunded 50%, which would not be received for another five days. This is fraud and theft, Along with basic incompetence and lack of ethics. I had to eventually submit a charge back to my credit card company, which will cost them extra money in fines instead of doing what they stated they would do. I've never left a negative review on any site so congratulations Annapolis electric boat rentals.

Pirate Adventures on the Chesapeake was a really cool adventure for my kids. They loved all aspects…read moreof it! The adventure starts with a phone call. This isn't the type of adventure you can show up to on a whim. You have to schedule a visit in advance. I scheduled a date and time over the phone. They took my credit card info, a contact number and my kids' names. The first date I scheduled was cancelled due to inclement weather. Pirate Adventures called and cancelled the adventure about three hours prior to when it was supposed to start. I elected to reschedule right then. I was instructed to arrive a half hour before our adventure so the kids could get their faces painted and pick out a sash. We parked on the street a few blocks away not realizing they have a parking lot. We checked in, the kids were given name tags with their name and an alliterative adjective (ie Zig Zag Zora and Kung Fu Kieran) and then reported to the face painting and sash picking area. After face painting kids and adults boarded the boat and the Chesapeake part of the adventure began. The captain went over a few safety measures with the adults while his assistant went through guidelines with the kids. The adventure has a whole story with different parts involved that kept the seven kids on our adventure entertained. Ages ranged from probably three to fourteen. These parts included a map search, treasure hunt, key finding expedition, pirate fight and a final pirate bounty quest. For the adults, we just hung out under a shaded portion of the boat. I got up to interact with my kids a few times and to snap some pictures. Mostly I just enjoyed the boat ride. The whole adventure lasted almost two hours (counting face painting). If you have kids that love to pretend and don't mind riding a boat, Pirate Adventures on the Chesapeake might be right up their alley.

Situated at a price ~$10-15 cheaper than comparable jet ski rentals in the area, DMV Jet Skis charges $70 for half an hour and $115 for a full hour. We arrived, checked in at their small office behind Marina West and took a short quiz on safety (the necessary responses are provided in a one-sheet statement page). We carried on great conversation with the staff members who were both friendly and efficient. One staff member gave us life jackets and took us out on the water earlier than reserved because everyone for the hour was in attendance-- SCORE! We got some extra time. For the one-hour tour, the guide takes you out to the water and you can go wherever you want as long as you stay in view of the guide. (It sounds kiddish, but you can go pretty far and still see them.) My boyfriend and I were at complete bliss out on the water! It's amazing to fly around, slicing through waves at 55 mph. We both rode the same jet ski and I primarily let him drive. Even being the passenger was fun-- I think I enjoyed it more than I did driving. If you're the passenger make sure you hold tight to the front person so you don't fly off. Our overall experience was amazing. I have nothing to complain about besides my slightly sore bottom and back today from my inability to keep my butt on the seat. I would highly recommend DMV Jetskis and undoubtedly would return.

We had to cancel one single kayak at the last minute and they didn't charge us. They met us at Shipyard Creek to drop them off for us. They gave us great location recommendations to check out. We kayaked around for a few hours then called them and they came back to pick them up within 10 minutes. I would definitely recommend renting for this awesome little shop! They were very accomodating!

They had a wonderful time until the propeller hit a rock and got bent (shallow waters with rocks that you really can't see near rental house) Boat was taken back a few hours early because they weren't sure how bad propeller was damaged. Needless to say, propeller had to be replaced. Captain Ron was very nice and understanding about the incident. We would definitely rent again and remember to not drive close to rental house with the hidden rocks.

How lucky we pulled up at 2:45 and were able to dock for free. Lucky because we were told there would be a $10 cover after 3 PM. For 6 of us that was going to be pricey. We were able to get a patio table by the water and had exceptional service by Catherine. The shrimp tacos and margaritas were delicious, as was the crab dip and nachos. Intrigued by the cover charge and enormous presence of roided security guards in tight t-shirts, we asked what in the world was going on. Well, it just happened to be their busiest day of the year: The Bikini Contest Finals, starting at 5:00 PM. Sadly for us (especially the guys), we would have to depart for our long boat ride back to Chestertown, meaning we were going to miss the bikini contest. They were not kidding about it being the biggest event of the year! As we were leaving the area, there were tons of motorboats lined up to enter the marina. Wow! What a fun day, on the water in excellent weather, with great service and friendly customers. A cool vibe was evident.

Soft drinks and tea were included. The accommodations up there were tall tables and a few metallic stools To the food: The assorted greens salad was fresh with your choice of salad dressings. Then rolls with real butter, followed with spaghetti with meatballs and a pasta with shrimp and parmesan, and chicken parm cutlets. Potato salad and a caprese salad of sliced mozzarella and tomatoes topped with a balsamic dressing. There was enough for seconds. Close to the end of the cruise, they brought out some desserts that looked like magazine quality. Cheesecake, chocolate layered cake, carrot cake, and lemon bars. All were very rich, and nothing was left. The staff could not have been nicer and very efficient. It's a really great crew. There is plenty of free parking. One note, this is not a wheelchair accessible due to a series of steps.
