This a hell no and please don't get tricked into the pretty little façade they try to create. Long reviews make it look you're a bit of Karen and so I'm not going to do that other than tell you this place sucks, and if you don't believe me, rent a spot for you your kid that goes to UofO and just plan on hating them from about a week after you've signed the lease and till about 3 years after the time you moved yourself or your kid out. It's 3 years from the time he last lived here but Yelp was kind enough to remind me and I just now felt compelled to leave this review thinking back on it. These charges are absolutely ridiculous!! I made sure to clean and call maintenance on practically every issue, and the amount for each charge is absurd!! I have a video of my entire room on my last day. There is no possible way my small, cleaned out room was hundreds of dollars in cleaning and damages. Hopefully this new management will not be as shady and corrupt as the former, which I doubt. The living conditions as well are horrendous, feeling equivalent to a dorm in terms of space, modernity, and cleanliness. The amount of money you pay for these apartments, you could find apartments in LA and New York City for, to live absolutely terribly. The windows all lead to walls, unless you're "lucky" and you have no control over anything. We got a dirty room with broken appliances, broken couch, broken janky door, with a view of the other building and straight into my other roommate's window (privacy issue). I should have known when during the tour they said "oh you just kinda gotta shove the door and get it at an angle" that this was a place of cheap living for a hefty price. Terrible terrible place and the front office is completely rude and classless. I'm sorry if you had to experience living here, it genuinely made me leave Eugene the room was that depressing. Do NOT rent your son/daughter an apartment at Skybox/Courtside apartments. Condition at move-in was atrocious. Toilet looked like it belonged in an old gas station restroom. I spent 2 hours cleaning (after making a trip to Fred Meyer for cleaning supplies) the bathroom and kitchen on the day we moved my daughter in just so I felt comfortable leaving her there. Key to the door didn't work- it took a week before they fixed it properly (lock was jammed- maintenance kept letting her in). Shower head wasn't functioning (bad valve) so water just drizzled out, could only take a bath for 3 weeks. Missing refrigerator door shelf covers, so items couldn't be stored without falling off (never fixed). Garbage room smells atrocious- making me glad I had my mask. Due to Covid and the University being closed for 3 quarters 2020-2021 my daughter only lived in the apartment for 4 mos during the 12 mos lease term. Apartment management was completely inflexible with subletting (they state they will let you know if someone is interested) and there is no lease buyout options (except 100% of the lease cost). Also, they do not charge prorated rent. So if you move in on the 15th of the month, you will pay for a full months rent at both the start and the end of the term- the equivalent of 13 mos rent for a 12 mos term. I moved her out of the apartment a month before the end of the lease. I cleaned the bathroom she used, kitchen and her bedroom spotless and turned in the key. I asked the management office to please check the condition then since I was concerned her roommate would cause damage or leave the apartment dirty and I didnt want to be liable. They assured me they would. Fast forward to the end of the term- an additional $96 was charged to the online portal without explanation. I had to call 5x and email 2x before I was sent a statement and pictures of the "damages" and cleaning charges. They charged for a set of blinds that was there when I moved her out and cleaning charges for the other roommates bathroom and the kitchen. I have replied with photo documentation of the condition at move in, condition when I moved her out and absolutely no reply from Skybox/Courtside except a reminder that they intend to send me to collections if I don't pay them. Extortion. If I could hire a lawyer to sue them, I would. Rent is very expensive for tiny shared space in awful condition and with horrible management. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. read more

I'm so glad I got out of this apartment. I've been waiting for this day literally since I moved in. I was that miserable. I waited until now to review because I've been looking forever for someone to take over my lease, and now that I successfully finally found someone gullible enough, I'M FREE. Okay let me start with the pros so I can tell you my long-winded horrible story later. You're gonna hate me for this. Pros: Literally right next to Market of Choice and Hirons for whatever you may need 10 minute walk to UO (to the EMU) "Looks cute" Free wifi, but slow Cons: Expensive as hell--There is NO fixed price for certain rooms, it depends on how soon you apply for the places you want. Rent is anywhere from $650-800/month for ONE ROOM. Cheap appliances, bad quality for everything. Looks can fool you. Very loud at night, esp weekends. (lots of parties + bass and loud freshmen skipping around) You live with bros and hos. "Dorm-room" feel Run by students, AND they don't know what they're talking about If you don't have people to live with, they set you up randomly (I shall get to this later) TOO much security -- good luck dealing with hassles of having friends or delivery come to you If you move out before your lease, you're responsible for paying rent even if it's not occupied--YOU are responsible for this matter or finding someone to take over. Thin walls, you can hear everything. Water utility is not paid for. Individual leases Is it just weird coincidence that I get set up with 2 ASIANS in EUGENE of all places? They're also ditsy valley girls, I wouldn't be able to stand it. So I called the manager to ask for another set of roommates b/c I was dissatisfied. SET! ........Worse. I get set up with 2 MORE Asians-- International students from China. This management is racist, I tell you!! I emailed the girls several times asking what they're bringing, what I should bring, furniture, and they didn't want to talk about all that until I got there, which is stupid because my parents were driving me up to take care of all that. As soon as we arrived, the entire apartment was a mess and there were books and suitcases and clothes everywhere in the living room. One girl who shares my bathroom took up all the cupboard spaces. She SHOWERS without a shower curtain! Bathroom floor immediately ruined (cheap vinyl material). There was nothing in the apartment because we didn't settle on furniture, so the place looked like a warehouse. She was never around b/c she spent time with her bf, and eventually moved out after like 2 weeks. She found another Asian girl to replace her. This new girl..........wow, really takes the cake. Let's call her Asian Shrek (uncanny resemblance). Shrek would smoke in her room, NEVER come out except to use the bathroom, and she would pee in the toilet 1000x and NEVER flush. One time I didn't come home for a week (I was scared to come back to my own apt and stayed with my gf during this time) and I went to the bathroom, and the water level rose like 4 inches. I KID YOU NOT. I decide to leave a note above the toilet, but just in case she didn't understand, I put a Chinese translation right underneath. She didn't get the hint. This time, she started taking dumps and not flushing. SHE DIDN'T EVEN USE TOILET PAPER! Who takes a dump and doesn't wipe? I was furious and grossed out, so I knocked on the door (seeing her face for the first time in 3 wks) and realize HOLY shit, you look like Shrek. PLEASE FLUSH THE TOILET Manager comes up, realizes she is smoking, then realizes again that she was NEVER on the new contract (basically living there for free), and thus she is kicked out. I get the bathroom to myself again. Still get another annoying roommate. Must move out. It took me 4-5 mths to find a replacement, but I have ridden this apartment out of my hands, thank goodness. Skybox is a fine choice for an apartment rental. In the Eugene rental market, you can do much worse! Pros: ---Wifi was upgraded this past december and it's really fast now. Like, Fiber-Optics fast. If you have an ethernet cable to plug into the wall, you'll be getting some Google-fiber level speeds. ---staff is very kind and courteous. My emails for repairs were acknowledged quickly and they sent a repair guy up pretty fast, all things considered. ---All utilities factored into the flat-rate rent fee. This is pretty nice for a college student like me who appreciates predictability in finances. From what I understand, the prices are pretty reasonable too, considering how close this place is to campus. Cons: ---No good common areas. Library is kind of lame, I wish it was a workout gym or something instead. The one common-area/tv place was replaced for a sales room halfway through my tenancy. --This is the biggest one: it just feels like this apartment complex was shoddily made. Like, they're repairing everything slowly and surely, but there's still lots of examples of inherently shoddy craftsmanship: 1. My thermostat controls my roommate's heat, and vise-versa. This is a problem w/ the wiring done @ installation and wasn't worth fixing. 2. Circuit breaker in my room would flip off every time I used my computer. The electrical wiring in my Apt. was just terrible, shutting off appliances and my computer in the middle of writing essays. That being said, after some nagging, they finally sent an actual electrician (and not the in-house repair guy) who fixed it and I haven't had many complaints since. In the end. I'll be moving out at the end of my year-long tenancy. It's not that I didn't like my time here, I just found out that these big ol' multi-level apartments aren't my thing. Edit: Review is 3 stars right now, cause I still have the sour taste in my mouth of the electrical problems/ slow wi-fi for a lot of my tenancy. I might upgrade the review to a higher grade, depending on how my remaining tenancy goes. Edit #2: Skybox honestly and ethically returned my safety deposit with minimal hassle. Unlike previous experiences with other Eugene renters (Bell Realty!), Skybox was great in this regard. I am a resident of Skybox, and I have some safety concerns regarding COVID. I think everyone is doing a great job keeping the building clean, however I have noticed that the people working in the front office DO NOT wear masks. Even when talking to residents they sit in there little office not wearing masks, yet they have signs posted that we will get charged extra money if we are seen without a mask. The management and staff is like a revolving door and we cannot get a response to either e-mails to phone calls. If we do get through to a human there has been no follow-up to our questions. I had a problem with the windows not working in my apartment due to failure from the window manufacturer. It took them a long time to fix them. Other than that the place and the staff is pretty decent. You can probably rent a room for cheaper - but it is really close to the campus and the game area and study room is nice. read more

University Communities does an incompetent job of managing Skybox and Courtside. They fire managers and hire new ones while replacing people with no experience. Tenants go months without getting things fixed. Crime? Look up on google on public records from U of O police department on the shootings and crimes committed there. Too bad the basketball teams used to live there and then moved out because of the poor mis management. Looks like Dennis Hardie, the Chief Operating Officer really could care less as long as the rent is being collected. The management team manages just the same way their leader does. There are so many good better choices in Eugene. Good luck parents and students making the safer choice. It really has nothing to do with the money. I moved into Skybox in During the summer. I signed my lease with Dolly who was very friendly and helpful. The team here rushed to get my apartment ready for me. After moving in I was able to get to know the staff in the front office. All of them have been great! Since my last review management has changed twice and the newest management is no longer resident oriented. They take advantage of students and their lack of knowledge of residence laws. I personally have been swindled out of money and although they told me I could file a formal dispute via email they never responded to any of them. It's sad to see this wonderful place be run by money hungry management. All of the staff has changed so there is no longer any personal connection nor knowledge of any previous problems that concern their residents. Upon my arrival/moving in at Skybox Apartments I was immediately disappointed. A giant hole was left in the door to a closet, paint was sprinkled in the bathtub, scuffs were all over the walls (one of which was bright green), the paints on the walls we cheap, changed colors and bled, the carpet was ugly and the list continues, but I did not lose hope in the company until recently. A month or two in we were fed up with our lack of internet connection and decided to file a complaint. The complaint was dealt with right away, but the problem was not fixed at all. To this day we still have sketchy internet connection. On top of that, right now our apartment has bleeding walls from us using water to to wipe something off, scuffs still on the wall, a hole still in our door, paint specks still in the bath tub, no hot water in one of the showers and a door that you have to move just the right way to shut. The problems, however, continue outside of our singular apartment. The company's website neglects to provide a street address and contacting the office without actually walking up to the door is nearly impossible. I have been trying all day to call and email them and have yet to received a reply. I finally resorted to Facebook which is extremely unprofessional on their part if that is the best way to reach them. For the price of this apartment complex I would expect at least four star accommodations. This place is not even worth half of the price that I am paying. The one area that I have been happy with has been the staff. The staff that I have experienced first hand have been friendly, helpful and accommodating both this year and last year while I was applying to lease. This just learned May, 25th 2012 Skybox has a equally split water bill so if you live here use all the water you want and your neighbors will pay for it without even knowing! Or if a pool is installed on the six floor and you have a leak in your 4th floor apartment, guess what? You get to pay for part of their water bill! Disclaimer: Skybox is not the worst possible place to live. But, after living here from September through June, I found that Skybox is really misleading about what services they actually offer. Location: Skybox is close to campus and Market of Choice (which is convenient but definitely more expensive than Safeway or Trader Joe's), but not much else. The entire west side of the building directly faces Courtside and the service alley. All apartments on this side of the building have noise issues as garbage trucks and grocery delivery trucks extremely loudly make their way through, starting at 4am. The noise is constant and you have to sleep with your windows closed to muffle it at all (which is impossibly hot in the summer). What is scenic about looking at another apartment building? "High Speed Wireless Internet": There have been issues with the wireless internet since I first moved in. Quickly, residents began complaining about the slow and often unresponsive wifi and building management posted flyers saying they had addressed the issue by installing more routers, boosters, etc. and that residents could pick up a free ethernet cord in the office to help. The free cords barely work and the wifi did not ever improve. At best, it's as slow as dial up. If you want dependable wifi that won't crash in the middle of you doing an online quiz or homework assignment, you'll have to get your own internet modem. Skybox claiming that they have the fastest wireless internet only second to campus is a complete lie. I had to buy an ethernet cord at Hirons and sit plugged into the wall in my room to do homework, stream movies, etc. when I'm paying for high speed internet in my rent. Heat / Windows: Whenever it gets above 75 degrees outside, the apartments heat up very quickly. The upper floors of Skybox are unbearably hot and there is no air conditioning in the building. Also, the windows only crank open about 6 inches, so there is no way to get air flowing through the apartment. Also, some bedrooms of Skybox have really poorly designed windows. My bedroom window is two feet wide and situated in a nook of the building so that it faces a wall four feet away. Very scenic, especially considering that when I called to ask questions before I leased, the student employee told me my apartment would be facing Matt Knight. I was blatantly lied to or blatantly misinformed, but either way, I did not anticipate paying $700 a month to live in an apartment which feels more like a prison. Emergency hotline: Skybox should not advertise that they even have an emergency hotline. The telephone number is of a live-in student who works in the office and is not paid for after-hours services. I and others have never been able to get help being locked out. For example, I arrived to Skybox the Sunday before Spring term without my keys, called the emergency hotline multiple times with no answer, left two voicemails, and never received a call back. I had to stay with a friend until the next morning at 10:30am when the office opened just to be let into the building. Also, my roommate found a girl passed out in her own vomit at 3am in our third floor hallway and called the emergency hotline with no response. We called the paramedics who also desperately tried to get ahold of building management to find out this girl's identity with no response. Even worse, we had called the main office and left a message telling them about the incident and the vomit left in the hallway. The vomit remained in our hallway outside my front door for three days. Three days. Walking past rank vomit. Roommate matching program: Do not rely on their roommate matching. I would suggest finding roommates on your own first. In my application, I clearly stated that I am not a hard-core studier, I am a writer and play music to get inspired, have a sound system to play my records, and I am clean but not a germ-a-phobe. I was paired with two girls who take their studies very seriously, do not tolerate noise, and one of my roommates is OCD/ hypochondriac to a disrespectful level (would throw my things away without asking, refuse to let others use her things). Noise: Besides the service alley issues, there are parties Thursday-Sunday, loud drunk people, music blasting, and the walls are EXTREMELY thin. I can hear my roommate's conversations perfectly despite both of our bedroom doors being closed. To address the other things listed on Skybox's Amenities: there is no 'roof garden', the stainless steel appliances are cheap, the 'bright colored walls' were done with cheap paint that has will come off if you try to clean it, and there is an 'energy efficient' fan in the bathroom that does not work well at all. All that being said, Skybox is definitely livable. But for the price, you should know that you're getting ripped off. read more

Awful service. Moved into the apartment to find that it had not been cleaned previously. There were stains on the carpet, holes in the wall, and the microwave had not been been cleaned out by the previous owners. Not only that but I have been continuously charged for a parking spot that I do not own. I have gone if on numerous occasions requesting that it be taken off my account and still nothing has been done. It has been 8 months. As was said by Drew W., Patrick, the property manager at Skybox is a disrespectful and nasty man. Do not rent from this place. I am a student that had a physician's notice saying that I needed to be released from my lease for emergency medical reasons. He refused to break the lease, which is understandable, but was also very rude, unresponsive and unwilling to help in any way. Patrick very callously told me he would send me to collections in the midst of my medical emergency. He lied to me saying that he was out of town and had "a meeting" to avoid talking when he was right in Eugene. They "lost" multiple of the rent checks I sent and then had the nerve to still charge me a late fee even with proof that it was post-marked on time. Also, I called the Attorney General's Office to see if they could help me and they said that Skybox had not been paying their taxes. Avoid this place at all costs. If anything goes wrong, there will be no understanding, because the entire building is operated by a man with little regard for service or the well-being of his tenants. read more

I wish I could give this apartment complex 0 stars. I truly have never been more continuously outraged by a property management company. They allowed my roommate to sub-lease her room to 2 roommates instead of 1, which left me living with 2 people I did not know who also had multiple pets. The management company was completely negligent to respond to multiple issues I came into contact with while living there. They gave me a temporary parking pass and told me I could park in the lot and then had my car towed, they charged me double my rent one month and then said "oh well I guess you just won't have to pay next month then!", told me I would get August free as part of a promotion they were having, and then charged me for August and said they "didn't remember making that promise at the time of my lease"as well as the biggest issue which was letting two people rent a room intended for one person. My living environment was not only uncomfortable but also unbearable because of the way my new "roommates" lived. This property management company also gets new management multiple times a year but it never helps because everyone that works their is lazy, incompetent, and unresponsive. This is a legitimate scam of a complex that is money thirsty and out to get students who most likely do not know their rights as renters. I would never recommend Skybox to a friend, not even my worst enemy. To top it all off, somehow the manager is always "on the phone" or "in a meeting" EVERY SINGLE TIME you have a problem, need help with something, or have a complaint. Convenient. Anyways, I will stop with my ranting but it is truly the worst and most unprofessional complex you will ever live in. Do not live here, I read reviews on Yelp before signing my lease but assumed people were being dramatic but trust me when I say there are not even words to describe how awful my living experience was there. Skybox Apartments are dangerous! I was tricked into living there for a year. They advertise that it's on the safe side of campus but it is far from it. Parties all the time and the athletes there often throw ragers that draw people who have no regards for anyone living there. An ambulance is there almost every weekend to take someone to the hospital who has either had alcohol poisoning or who has been attacked by an athlete (or one of their douchebag friends). Additionally, the bedrooms are 9 feet by 11 feet meaning you can at most fit a twin size bed and a desk into your room. You are paying $750 per month for a loud cupboard. Their website says that the rent is about $600 per month but that is only for people renewing. They offer this price after a year of living there but no one EVER wants to renew their lease. Across the street is Millrace apartments, I've visited friends there a few times and always leave pissed off because they are a lot better and cheaper. Bigger rooms, closer to campus and like $100 cheaper. Don't live in Courtside or Skybox, there are better apartments close by! 7/26/13 Update (regarding comment below) Hi Teddy, my name is fake but I assure you I lived in your apartments for quite some time. I will address your arguments in your comment: -The 24-hour security doors are only useful if the football thugs are out of town for the weekend at an away game, otherwise they prop open all the doors to let their jock-buddies and skanks in. -In the time I've spent there, no issue has ever been addressed to punish or stop the harming of property in the complexes or the people living in them. -The emergency on-call phone is almost pointless. If the person holding it answers it (frequently they don't) they will often take hours to do anything or assist residents. And how effective will a 100lb C.A. girl be at breaking up a party REALLY? You take comfort in informing others of how you manage your apartments so that just in case of an occurrence you can fall-back on your words and say "I tried". But when it comes down to it, actions speak louder than words and that's exactly what you'll get when living at these apartments. Empty promises. read more

I lived in Skybox for two years and I have so many great memories there. It was the first apartment I lived in. The staff and management there does a lot to make a friendly community within the complex. They constantly host community activities (that often have prizes you can win, and almost ALWAYS free food - great for broke college students), ping pong tournaments, no shave november contests, going to Ducks games with the staff, etc (there are so many events that they host, it's crazy). They have a cake every month for tenant's birthdays that you can just pick at slice of up at the office. Most of the staff are fellow students so they can easily relate to the tenants. Like I said, I used to live there and since then I've graduated and move away. Unfortunately the other day I accidentally sent an item I bought online to my old apartment. Luckily it went to the apartment's office and they've kindly held onto my package for me while I was able to send them a shipping label so they could send my package back to me at my correct address. I am so appreciative for them doing this for me (because they totally didn't have to). One of their staff members, Sandra has been incredibly helpful to me throughout this whole ordeal. It's really nice to know that even after not living there for 2 years they still treat me as good as they did when I lived there. The apartments are really nice and modern, and if you're looking for an awesome and welcoming community with even better staff, choose skybox to live in. read more

Multiple reasons conclude my 1 star rating, yet in this review I will emphasize on only a few of the reasons why not to live at Skybox, why I gave it a 1 star review and why it has put a negative burden on my college experience. On move in day, my roommate and I were welcomed into an apartment that was not cleaned nor inspected. As we opened the front door for the first time, a breeze of cat pee from the carpets caught us by surprise coming from these newer modern looking apartments. What disturbed me the most that day was my roommate and I found mold inside the fridge, microwave & dishwasher, clearly with how much there was, you could tell its been sitting like that over the summer for months and never was touched or cleaned prior to our move in day. I was the only tenant to experience this problem that day either. *To this day and everyday after stepping out of the elevator and walking to my front door you can smell the lingering stench that goes unnoticed throughout the staff. Skybox claims that your electricity and heat is included in your monthly rent, what they don't tell you is that you have a $30 electricity bill cap inside that monthly rent check, anything over $30 and you have to pay additionally. **Ironically, when the cold weather comes around, Skybox states that you need to keep your heat at 58 degrees so "pipes won't break" which is understandable, yet therefore causing you to go over your electricity credit every month, charging you additionally more. This is a lose-lose situation for the tenant. Personally, I pay my rent on time, I have had no complaints against my rental history record and I abide by the leasing rules at Skybox. Annoyingly often enough, I am falsely accused of doing something by the Skybox staff for a couple very random reasons. The most recent one is that I came home to a "Pet Violation" posted on my door after being out of town for 10 days, because the landlords "thought" that they saw me with a German Shepherd. It was a good laugh between my roommate and I. Skybox staff has been inside my apartment before and the staff knows what it looks like, they know I don't have a 100 pound dog inside my 800 sqft apartment. ***The other day I woke up bright and early, had a cup of coffee, went to class, came back and spent $357 to get my car out of impound because the tow company that Skybox hired, towed my car out of my spot that I have been paying for, for the last 6 months. Skybox refuses to refund me the money for being towed out of my own spot, that I pay a very high price for monthly. With the reaction I got from the manager about this, Skybox staff could careless that the tow company they hire is towing their own paying tenants vehicles, very unethical and very unprofessional. Another lose-lose situation you get with Skybox. One thing I want to stress about Skybox is that the staff shows no "landlord ethics". On signing day they show might pride but after that, it's a battle with Skybox. When writing this review, I want to make it clear that I feel like Skybox has nothing personal against me nor do they purposely single me out. Clearly I have just been at the wrong place at the wrong time. This is one of many factors why I will not renew my lease with Skybox nor recommend to any friend, family member or to anyone reading this. It does not feel like home. But hey you never know, they could change their ways and offer you the deal of a lifetime you just can't resist, but please take my review under your consideration because the flaming hoops that Skybox has had me jump through so far this year, just to keep my head above water, is too much stress and inconvenience for any college kid and his studies. read more

Skybox and courtside is a complete sham. Horrible, horrible management. The management is unorganized, rude and takes advantage of students. DO NOT live here. I repeat. Worst rental management/ company I've seen in Eugene. If I could give them just half I star I would. read more

Terrible customer service. Poor problem-solving. Non-responsive to tenants and guarantors.

Totally unethical business practices. Management is appalling, non responsive, and completely incapable of taking good responsibility for bad/fraudulent business practices. They fabricated charges for repairs and services on move out, then did not respond to my dispute, then sent it for collections while the dispute was pending. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE...THERE ARE BETTER MORE ETHICAL OPTIONS. And, the new manager "Jeremy", yikes...don't expect him to do what's right...but do expect deflection and lack of resolution. read more

It is convenient to live here and you can print in the office and people in leasing office are friendly.

Living in this apartment complex for 3 years I have seen management change twice and each time for the better. The apartments themselves are all clean and well outfitted but where this complex shines is in the management. Sandra has become the manager this place needs, running the daily tasks while still making time for each residents. The new girls at the front desk are some of the most caring and helpful individuals that make living here enjoyable and hassle-free. Hailey specifically has been a great addition to the team and I know that the future residents will find her to be a great asset. Overall I would recommend any student to live here. read more

This place is absolutely horrible. The management is so bad and uncaring. They try and trick you into thinking you are living at a high scale apartment when honestly it's one of the worst in eugene. I moved in and the apartment wasn't clean and walls weren't even painted. i also lived on the side facing court side and everyday I would wake up at 4 am from the noises coming from garbage trucks or Market of Choice truck deliveries. The wifi is absolutely horrible. The trash rooms don't get cleaned and you have trash overflowing into the halls for weeks. Honestly so many better places to live on campus that are just as close. Skybox has everything you could ask for in an apartment building for a student. It is close to campus for a nice easy walk to class. It's across the street from a gas station and next to a few restaraunts and a grocery store. It's also right across the street from matthew knight arena so going to basketball games is easy. The rooms come with Internet and are nice and spacious. Very convenient place to live! read more

Prices for rent are outrageous for the bad quality living situation you will find yourself in. The only positive of living at Courtside/Skybox is having Market of Choice and Hirons next to you for convenience. The pre-furnished rooms are filled with cheap furniture, the WiFi is very slow and are open to anyone. When the lease is coming to an end they will inform you about cleaning the whole apartment and provide you with a sheet, the sheet says pay us this amount of money if you leave the apartment clean or higher a professional cleaner that we list and pay them more. Overall I would not recommend living in Courtside/Skybox or at any place that is in the Arena District, The prices are high for bad quality living. read more

What happened to the front desk staff? They went from people who actually cared about the people who live here to two ladies who talk down to you and don't know what they are doing. Hailey is one of the most frustrating people to talk to when trying to do anything related to my apartment because she talks to me like I am a complete idiot and then doesn't even know the answer to anything. The only reason I am not staying here for another year is because of the new front desk staff. If you are going to try to get people to stay you should rethink your staff choices. read more
